It's funny that people pay more attention to Chik-Fil-A than this. But the thing is, people know Epstein was murdered. They know the FBI is corrupt and venal, and will rule this a suicide.
But they can decide where their money goes, and they can punish companies that forget where they came from. Given the popularity of EDKH, I think this is a very bad sign for our rulers. Posted by: trev006 at November 19, 2019 01:46 PM (FoV3c) 11

One of the reasons why they prematurely declared this a suicide was because those responsible didn't want to tangle with the folks likely responsible, who may or may not have connections to intelligence agencies, but who are definitely invested in getting rid of the dirt that Epstein had.

Ben n Jerry's and parent company Unilever are being sued for false advertising by an environmental advocate who claims the milk and cream used to make flavors like Phish Food are deceptively marketed as coming from "happy cows." In a complaint filed Oct. 31 in federal court in Burlington, Vermont, where Ben n Jerry's was founded, environmental advocate James Ehlers accuses the company and Unilever of deceiving consumers who buy the ice cream because of its pastoral and progessive image. "During the past several years, Unilever has breached consumer trust by representing the Ben n Jerry's Products as being made with milk and cream sourced exclusively from "happy cows" on Vermont dairies that participate in a special, humane "Caring Dairy" program," the lawsuit claims. https://cbsn.ws/330Ehwk Posted by: Anonosaurus Wrecks, Tyrannosaur Wrangler at November 19, 2019 01:59 PM (+y/Ru) 89

The only "crime" the FBI will find here will be criminal negligence on the part of the unidentified guards, which led to the "unfortunate" circumstances that permitted Epstein to kill himself. They are not investigating if he was murdered; everyone already knows he was murdered. What the FBI is doing is building a cover story they can use to gloss over Epstein's obvious murder by saying, "These guards behaved badly, which is what led to Epstein being unsupervised and thus able to commit suicide."
That is exactly what will happen. I guarantee it. Posted by: MWR, The Public Intellectual (aka Beth) at November 19, 2019 02:00 PM (rP4OC) 97

Of course thinking he killed himself then does present a new question. Was he given the opportunity to kill himself or were the guards just pencilling whipping dumbasses? Posted by: Buzzion at November 19, 2019 01:58 PM (SjIcT) I keep coming back to HOW in the hell did he 'hang himself' from something that is not as tall as he is? He supposedly wrapped a sheet around his neck, then tied it to a rail on a bunk bed, which is only 5 ft off the floor. Epstein was close to 6 ft. Then he threw himself forward, hard enough to break bones in his neck, but did NOT knock himself out. Now, pain would have made him stand back up, and as the sheet was tied lower than his height? no strangulation would occur. Its virtually impossible to hang yourself if you can reach the floor and relieve pressure on your neck UNLESS you are knocked out. Posted by: Don Q at November 19, 2019 02:07 PM (NgKpN) 168

... Their only rule of life is that rules are made to be broken by shrewdness, deceit, or power. Cruelty is something admirable; honor is a despicable trait. ... I keep coming back to HOW in the hell did he 'hang himself' from something that is not as tall as he is?
You can hang yourself sitting on the floor; you just need to apply enough pressure to your neck to overcome systolic blood pressure (120 mm Hg). A ligature and a 5 lb. weight would do. No need to be suspended in the air. Posted by: Deplorable Jay Guevara at November 19, 2019 02:44 PM (YLq84) 463

I keep coming back to HOW in the hell did he 'hang himself' from something that is not as tall as he is?
You can hang yourself sitting on the floor as long as you can contrive a way to apply 10 lbs. of pressure to your neck (i.e., enough pressure to overcome systolic blood pressure). Not asserting the Epstein committed suicide, necessarily, but saying that you don't have to be suspended in the air to hang yourself. Posted by: Deplorable Jay Guevara at November 19, 2019 02:44 PM (YLq84) Except that you leave out the very Human instinct of survival. Which is why you can't strangle yourself with your own hands. I certainly don't see Epstein as having the WILL to be able to strangle himself in that manner, without help. And it wouldn't be 10 total lbs of pressure, but 10 PSI on a very specific location. Somehow created by a bedsheet? Would be MUCH easier to do with a rope or cord (the sheet having much more surface area, thus taking more pressure). I certainly don't see Epstein as having the WILL to be able to strangle himself in that manner, without help.
======= Well, people who do this stuff to themselves successfully rig it up so that when the go unconscious (less than 10 seconds) their body weight maintains the pressure. Like a choke hold, if you occlude blood flow to the brain you are out in seconds. If you maintain the pressure two plus minutes, gonna be fatal. Now you probably wouldn't fracture the hyoid bone in this scenario. Usually. Posted by: not a pathologist at November 19, 2019 02:55 PM (Q2aW6) 482

Not just these two assholes but all of them. And what about the supervisors? And their bossses?
Criminal Enterprise as in government employees claiming payment for services not done cause that is just what government employees do. Posted by: Parker Longbaugh at November 19, 2019 04:48 PM (D2xaQ) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0612 seconds. |
