Former CNN/WaPo Schlump Howie Kurtz Attacks Mollie Hemingway for Committing Journalism

I'm sure he's just following the Bill Sammon NeverTrump liberal PC line on this, though.

Appearing on Fox News' The Daily Briefing, Monday afternoon, Kurtz told host Dana Perino that he didn’t think it was "the role of the media to disclose the identity of the whistleblower."

....

He went on to argue--without evidence--that there had been "no independent reporting that this is the guy, despite what some partisan sites are saying."

RCI however is part of the Real Clear Foundation, a nonpartisan 501(c3) news organization.

Howard Kurtz should have a word with Tom Bevan, who is at Real Clear Politics and also a FoxNews contributor frequently appearing on Special Report, about whether his organization is "partisan" and to be disqualified from any consideration by the liberal media (which includes the news division of Fox, including Howie Kurtz).

He should also talk to A.B. Stoddard, another former FoxNews contributor, who was also at Real Clear.

Deb Heine continues:

"Even if we did have independent reporting, I don't see why the media should be baited into naming somebody because I think it violates the spirit of the Whistleblower Protection Act,” Kurtz added.

But the Whistleblower Protection Act bars agency authorities from taking or threatening to take retaliatory action "against any employee or applicant because of disclosure of information by that employee or applicant." It does not bar the media from naming a "whistleblower" who makes allegations against a sitting president as Democrats ramp up impeachment efforts.

Here's what Mollie Heminway should do:

First, she should stop appearing on Howie Kurtz, period. Kurtz -- and many of the other Fox show hosts -- need Mollie Hemingway a lot more than they need her.

She should remind them of that.

Let them try to pull ratings with Special Guest Bari Weiss.

Second, she should start talking to One America News Network.

A lot of people would drop Fox like a bad habit if Mollie Hemingway joined them in a more extensive capacity. I would.

Meanwhile, a whistleblower complaint has been filed against the whistleblower, and against his lawyers (including Disney Princess Hotness Evaluator Mark Zaid), for raising money for their impeachment op on a GoFundMe and permitting foreign donations which would Interfere With the American Political Process.

A newly filed complaint to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) alleges that the whistleblower whose allegations touched off House Democrats' impeachment inquiry may have violated federal law by indirectly soliciting more than a quarter-million dollars from mostly anonymous sources via a GoFundMe page.

The complaint, which was filed last week and obtained by Fox News, alleged the donations from roughly 6,000 individuals "clearly constitute" gifts to a current intelligence official that may be restricted because of the employee's official position pursuant to 5 CFR 2635.203 and other statutes. To date, the GoFundMe has raised over $227,000.

The complaint also raised the possibility that some of the donations may have come from prohibited sources, and asked the ICIG to look into whether any "foreign citizen or agent of a foreign government" contributed.

...

Fox News reported in September that the nonprofit Whistleblower Aid worked with the whistleblower's attorneys at the Compass Rose Legal Group to start the GoFundMe.

201 OANN could not offer the big bucks, but Mollie and Tucker and even Hannity (wonder what contracts they have with FOX) .. could maybe get paid in shares of the company. Depends how they are structured, but some sort of stock payment (even if it is privately held?) is how many in Dell and Google became millionaires, a few times over.

They could become the Chick-fil-A of the media world ... rising to prominence despite the media attacks on their Christian ethics. Or maybe OANN could just go public ... but that might interfere with their future plans, idk.

285 OANN has to develop their talent, and/or recruit more. Seems like a noble effort so far ... I just watch clips on specific topics once in a while. If they are streaming (I think they are) then they don't need to get the cable outlets so much... though that still offers a revenue stream I guess. But times are a changin ...

286 "I'm John McCain and I approved this message."

That's the signature line from McCain's signature bill, the Campaign Reform Act. It was meant to stop unaccountable smear campaigns by faceless politicians.

Yet that is exactly what McCain did when he conspired with Brennan and Comey to spread the Trump Dossier. Supporting sedition by an anonymous rogue National Security Apparatus is even worse than attacks by anonymous politicians. McCain shit on his own legacy.

He told voters if they elected him president or re-elected him senator, he would be "leading the fight to repeal and replace ObamaCare". Instead, he screwed over millions of families for personal pique.

His office conspired with Lois Lerner to have the IRS harass citizens in the Tea Party movement. Anti-Constitutional if not illegal.

He famously said "We have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency". He was wrong about that. too. We had nothing to fear from a patriotic black president, but not from Obama, who did vast damage.

He sought to impose theocracy on Egypt and met with al Baghdadi as Obama's envoy.

He once fought to secure South Vietnam's borders but saw no need to secure America's.

He expected Republicans to support him when he was chosen, which we did--but failed to reciprocate when we chose Donald Trump.

It was a slur against America to equate the targeted discomfort put on Khalid Sheik Muhammad to stop another 9/11 (and get bin Laden's location) to the sadistic free-for-all inflicted on our servicemen at the Hanoi Hilton.

And his last public act was to leave Arizonans without a senator for a year, treating his office as a hereditary baronetcy. That's against the republican nature of our country and putting self before service.

John McCain had a chance to be a hero again, to tell the corrupt directors of the CIA and the FBI to stop meddling in the presidential campaign and get their grubby hands off of the election that rightfully belongs to the American people. He could have done that with his stature. But instead, he threw in with them. He failed to rise above his own bitterness. He chose Self over Service and the Swamp over America.

He mouthed "Country First"--but Donald Trump is the only one doing it.

In the end, the Swamp Drained Him. He lost his way. There's been an awful lot of that going around.

And they are outraged if you point out that the sun has been remarkably quiet this year, with 224 completely spotless days this year, as of a couple of weeks ago - and counting. It's one of the lowest periods of solar activity in decades.

There was no basis for allowing the CT suite to move forward, the SCOTUS should have done as you said.

But now Remington has to waste vast amounts of money fighting a frivolous lawsuit.

People have to understand, gun manufacturers profit margins are vanishingly slim and Remington is already in Chapter 11 bankruptcy so the continuation of the insane law suit may put them under, which is probably the plaintiffs strategy to begin with.

Kanye West recently released an album titled "Jesus is King."

I generally have a somewhat low tolerance level for black Gospel - I like it and appreciate it, but the repetition gets to me about the thousandth "Hallelujah!"

But having said that, his Sunday Services are pretty great. Lots of them up on Youtube.

For those who haven't heard it, the album itself isn't really "Gospel." It's his usual Hip Hop-Pop-Rap mashup with really great samples, only this time around the samples are from Gospel records, including one from an old Whole Truth record that fits so damn perfectly it's like they made the record just for Kanye to sample it! Plus, his Sunday Service choir gets a few bits in.

What drives the stock market these days especially with microtransactions but also deliberate narrative pushing by major forces like Soros and leftist mega corps has nothing to do with how the economy is doing. Market is up, doesn't mean the economy is doing well. Market is down, doesn't mean the economy is failing.

That is a better indicator. Gold especially is a solid indicator of economic health. Prices of gold and interest in it go up significantly as the economy falls. If the price of gold is falling, that's a sure sign that at least investors think that the economy is doing well and they don't need to find something stable and valuable to hide their money in.
