Surprise! The Same Media That Spent a Week Lecturing People That It Was a Crime to Criticize LTC Vindman Now Flip-Flop and Start Attacking LTC Hickman, For Having The Audacity to Criticize Vindman

The New York Times on Thursday covered U.S. Army Lt. Col. Jim Hickman's explosive allegations against Democrat "star witness" Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman by casting aspersions on Hickman’s character.
Last week, Hickman divulged on Twitter that Vindman "really talked up" President Barack Obama and ridiculed America and Americans in front of Russian military officers when Hickman worked with him in Grafenwoher, Germany in 2013.
Hickman said that he "verbally reprimanded" then-Major Vindman after he heard some of his derisive remarks for himself. "Do not let the uniform fool you," Hickman wrote. "He is a political activist in uniform."
The Times characterized Hickman’s account as "unsubstantiated," even though it was backed up by his boss at the time. And on Friday, a second individual who witnessed the incident, provided American Greatness with a statement saying Vindman "was uncomfortably supportive of Obama" and "almost self-hating of white Americans."
While Vindman is frequently described in the media as a patriot and a Purple Heart recipient, Hickman was described by Times reporters Mike McIntire and Nicholas Confessore as a "Florida man" and "fan of QAnon" in the story’s fourth paragraph.

Listening to both sides reminded me that we used to often have debates that weren't strictly centered around the merits of "social justice", "critical theory" and "oppression". Funny is subjective, but I don't think she's funny at all.

Her funny is just abrasive and loud. There's no wit to it. As a side player (like in Bridesmaids) that can help enhance the overall comedic style of the film, but as a lead? She's so one dimensional on a plane that I just don't find funny that following her is a chore.

Yep.

The notion that everything will be released, in proper order, and a legal decision will be justly rendered and dutifully obeyed strikes me as bat-fuck honestly insane. And yes - some insane people can be off their ass nuts while forming perfectly correct sentences. Still bug-fuck nuts.

This only gets fixed when several agencies get decimated. That process won't be pretty. But either it gets done - or this was a colossal waste of time all around.

It won't get done because of anything said by any judge in a Federal Court.

The federal agency time span between "We're all in agreement" and "Here's everything you requested. Please sign the receipt." is very flexible and nebulous in the extreme. Subject to interpretation. And discussion. Not to mention inter-agency reconciliation. Plus miscommunication, alleged or otherwise. Not to mention delays due to promotion, re-assignment of personnel, or retirement of the same. Have you ever watched "Yes, Minister" and/or "Yes, Prime Minister"? Didn't Christopher Wray recently suggest that a requested document search might take up to 26 months? Sounds "conservative" to me.

I suspect that there's an existential conflict going on between the the upper echolon of the DOJ and the upper echelon of the FBI. Bob Barr has carte blanche to declassify and release any classified document and I think there's some very serious foot-dragging going on from the FBI in regards to coughing up the goods.

Seriously, reports of Hillary's violent temper and outbursts have been around since before she was in the White House. I find this entirely believable because it's how she's always reacted and she was in the middle of a campaign where Trump had already told her if he had won she'd be in jail.

We should constantly be playing games with foreign aid to further our national interest.
