Clinton was investigated for a long while, his administration was doing a lot of shady stuff. He had to actually be found guilty of a crime before we started talking about impeachment (that I remember).
They started Impeach Trump from day 1 as "payback".
Holder refused to release thousands of documents for 18 months before he was cited with "contempt". Bar didn't release the 4% of the Mueller report that was redacted as classified including Grand Jury information, and in 2 weeks the House cited him for "contempt". And they called that "payback".
You just have to ready for what the mob will do even if you take a reasonable step as punishment.

Don't disagree with the analysis in the main on any specific point. However, what the video is trying to say is that the good we do from simple acts of kindness may not have concrete outcomes that we can quantify, but rather can make things better and occasionally change how people look at the world. Regardless, the point of the video is that the guy does not do or get concrete and real compensation for what he does- but he does it anyway.

first, smart lawyers will get their money up front, and it will not be refundable. Second, they can be sued for malpractice, but you gotta prove that, and it's not easy. And the suing is going to cost you more than you're trying to recover. Third, most cases are lost not because of bad lawyers, but because of bad clients.

Err...no. You know how we know that? Because the Dems had to leak, once more, and almost immediately, selective tidbits, cut and pasted from secret testimony. Otherwise, they just would have simply published the testimony for all to see if it was as "incriminating" as the Times tries oh so desperately to convince you.
And even the Dems who came out of the secret testimony meeting, knowing now that the double secret clown show they've gotten themselves mixed up in needed some sort of sound bite, anything! to get some positive narrative started, refused to give "any details" of the testimony, only vague assurances that it was dy-no-mite, babe!
This is the end for them, when you make can't even convincingly fake it that you've got something, when you can't even convincingly stuff it in the face of your opponents without, actually turning your back, slumping and crying.

This is one of many reasons why I detested work-related "social gatherings." I didn't want to party or drink or eat with co-workers or vendors or customers.
