Have a great autumn weekend.

Adam Schiff previously said that it was imperative that we have testimony from one of his fake whistleblowers.

Then the news broke that he was meeting with and coordinating with these fake whistleblowers.

Now he says it would be a terrible, terrible thing to make this patriot testify.

What a surprise.

Five states just hit record low unemployment.

Alabama, California, Illinois, New Jersey and South Carolina all set new all-time low unemployment rates in September.

The declines come amid a national jobless rate that fell to 3.5%, the lowest since 1969.

...

Those drops came amid big year-over-year plunges of 0.8 percentage point for Alabama, Colorado and New Jersey. South Carolina had the largest month-over-month decline at 0.3 percentage point.

Of those states, California, Illinois, New Jersey and Colorado all swung against President Donald Trump in the 2016 race against Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Colorado could, maybe, flip red.

Wompitty-womp womp womp.

I need a cigarette.

From the Soyciety Pages: David Brooks becomes the first NeverTrumper to endorse socialist Elizabeth Warren.

He will not be the last.

Bill Kritol and Jen Rubin have just the cutest cyberflirt over their adoration of Nancy Pelosi.

Click on the pic to see the whole picture and Rubin's response. Or, if you'll just believe me, she said:

you SO are

It's cute when ugly people flirt publicly!

Thanks to Christopher R Taylor and someone else -- I opened the unemployment news a while ago and I forget which commenter posted it.

I don't know if the Gabbard press conference is delayed or cancelled. It's over an hour and sixteen minutes late. So I'm logging out.

PS you're all RUSSIAN ASSETS.

I saw something today that made me go hmmm . . .

Who benefits most from the Senate going into a long, drawn out impeachment trial?

Well, Senators are, I believe, obligated to sit in the chamber for the trial--and McConnell has said, I think, that the Senate would be going six days a week for the duration.

Who's running for President on the D side? Who are the current front-runners? Who won't be able to get out and campaign very much while the impeachment trial is going on?

For a long time, I've had the opinion that the DeepState's guy is Biden, and they're going to pull out all the stops to drag him across the finish line a la Hillary 2016. (Hillary2020 is the DeepState's "insurance policy.")

Is it totally out of the question that the DeepState could be "managing" this whole impeachment shitshow to get their chosen candidate(s) into the Presidential general election?

193 McConnell can "burn" the process to force expeditious results, and has indicated that's what he'll do. Like they used to do for certain bills [the do so little now, not sure it still happens]. 6 days a week, 8+ hours a day, until finished.

But McConnell really will face an impossible task to justify *not* summarily dismissing "impeachment" articles that are facially frivolous and emerge from a purely partisan, even closed-door "process".

Can't see how that kind of garbage - never even contemplated in our history - puts the senate under any serious obligation for a full trial.

So only half the people are employed or unemployed, the rest are not counted in the labor force. Those not in the labor force includes children and retirees, but I couldn't tell if about 50% is normal. I worked at 16, then was a student, then worked till now ... I guess part time counts, in which case I also worked about half the years I was a student. Seems 50% in labor force is low, idk.

Doesn't matter. If the prospective employer finds out, by any means, you have a problem, because he has to wonder what else you haven't told him. Plus, he'll wonder if your story is true.

My advice, FWIW: get in front of it. The story actually speaks well of your character.

376 re Bill Macy (as I recall and took a peek at google): some years ago he did an appearance on the show that Norm MacDonald had on ABC, c2000. The then GORGEOUS Nikki Cox appeared in a number of episodes. Bill Macy did one episode. Cox apparently recognized him and went up to him. "Hi, I'm Nikki Cox" she said and as he put his hand out to shake her hand, he replied, "Hi, I'm Bill Pussy!"

He apologized and sent her flowers. I am pretty sure I am remembering this correctly.

380 Stella,
I've actually forgotten several places I've worked. Or forgotten when I worked there. In my late teens and 20's I bartended and waited tables, sometimes at several places at the same time. No way I can remember where, when or how long some of the gigs were for. That was just the nature of the business. I also had an 11 year gap when I stayed home with my kids. That took knowing the right person to overcome.

All this bullshit #Resistance essentially renders us inert. Very little of substance is being done. The goal is to make us ungovernable.

Normally that's a good thing and we should be cheering their sloth since every new law or rule or regulation we're forced to live under reduces our freedom, but the porous Mexican border remains a problem. It won't be fixed until we take back the House. Another Senate seat wouldn't hurt, either, but I don't know who's up for reelection and ready for a Trumpian Republican, if one could be found.

They need props for a narrative that they will defend to their death, because that narrative helps them shame you as "deplorable".

464 Stella you will not see it on just a regular credit report. The kind of credit report that gets pulled for mortgages will show a lot more detail, and this is what a lot of prospective employers may use. For example, every name you have ever used, every address where you have lived, and every employer they can find. Many different groups feed info into the credit bureaus including employers. Internet history report would be the kind of detailed report that can be pulled on anyone, they cost around $20 to $30 .

487 In that Tucker interview with Gabbard, Tucker failed to ask one question. Gabbard is against these never ending 'wars'. Before that interview, guests and Tucker were saying how ironic it was crappy politicians want to 'protect Syria's border' but no one seems to care about the open cartel war on our own border. (33,000 people murdered, more than double our body count but with one-third the population.) Tucker should have asked her what she thought about the situation on our Southern border and her opinion on building a wall there to protect CONUS. Might have exposed some of her hypocrisy if she was against these foreign 'wars' but all for laying down the red carpet for illegals.

I honestly don't know Gabbard's opinion on our illegal invasion problem because I don't watch Dem klown kar kandidate debates.

I think Colorado goes for Trump in 2020. He only lost there by 5% in 2016.

Trump also takes Minnesota (1.5%), Nevada (2.4%), Virginia (5.3%), Maine (2.96%), and New Hampshire (0.37%).

The communist, whoever it winds up being, likely keeps the Left Coast, the rest of New England (other than Maine and New Hampshire), Maryland, Delaware, and Illinois.

Not quite a Jimmy Carter or George McGovern level of curb-stomping, but it's going to be close.
