Ukraine Mystery: Schiff Staffer Made August Trip for Think Tank Employed by Hunter Biden’s Old Employer

A hmm via Breitbart:

A staffer for Rep. Adam Schiff’s House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence took a trip to Ukraine last month sponsored and organized by the Atlantic Council think tank.

The Atlantic Council is funded by and routinely works in partnership with Burisma, the natural gas company at the center of allegations regarding Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

The Schiff staffer, Thomas Eager, is also currently one of 19 fellows at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Congressional Fellowship, a bipartisan program that says it “educates congressional staff on current events in the Eurasia region.”

We saw this with Nixon in the 1970's. He had just won a huge victory in 1972, and they were able to use the CIA and his fellow republican traitors to force Nixon out.

President Trump is fighting back, and we are witnessing the men behind the curtain manipulating the levers and lights and sound effects, the better to fool us into going along.

47 so, from what I can see is this:

1. WB and others generate report.

Others include a lot of lawyers and probably Schiff and the DNC house swamp.

2. the new IG gets the report, changes the rules so she/he/it/zer can actually process it as an urgent concern.

3. the Schiff side plays up the existence of the report

4. trump fucks the whole thing by ignoring my advice and actually releasing the transcript instead of the expected fight over "this is fucking bullshit and separation of powers" which is 5th dimensional chess.

5. Schiff reads some bizarre rant about trump which he had to immediately apologize for.

6. the media throughout this has been yelling impeachment.

7. the ICIG got busted changing the rules and lies about the form being the same.

well, of course the form's the same, you changed the rules. the form still has 2 boxes to check, 1. I have first hand. 2 "I have second hand"

8. pelosi changes house rules to pretend they're doing something to appease their more lunatic fringe insane base.

9. 2 week recess. hope the media can whip up an impeachment frezny.

I'm telling youse guys, keep your eyes on The Atlantic Council. They are at the heart of many or our problems.

Some of the members:

Victor Pinchuk, the Clinton's favorite Ukrainian oligarch and one biggest funders of the Clinton foundation.

Dimitri Alperovich, CEO of CrowdStrike

James Clapper, well known douchebag

Evelyn Farkas, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Eurasian Affairs and Ukraine under Obama

George Soros, directly and funneled through his foundations

John McCain, he dead

And on and on and on. It is a who's who of Deep State players with ties to Ukraine. Ukraine has been huge focus for The Atlantic Council for years

Less than 2 weeks ago Burisma announced that it would be partnering with The Atlantic Council for direction on economic and legal matters.

>>The International Energy Group Burisma along with other top Ukrainian business leaders has committed itself to 15 key principles of rule of law and economic policy in Ukraine developed by the Atlantic Council of the United States, the leading U.S. think tank in the field of international affairs.

This always has seemed to be desperate and rushed although it has been ongoing at least since July. My guess is they do want to drag it out but also realize that carries lots of risk, too.

Trump needs to do an Oval Office address, pronto, and lay out what is going on. It doesn't need to step on any investigations, but he certainly cannot depend of our corrupt system, either, including the GOP cowards and crooks in the Senate and House.

Posted by: DamnedYankee at October 01, 2019 01:49 PM (37IEG)

I didn't hear of evidence being presented as to that, so can't back that up. I think we can be comfortable with the jury's verdict - she admitted to pulling the trigger intentionally, and her excuses as to why she did it just didn't add up. So that's enough for a conviction.

As to the difference between manslaughter and murder, in Texas they overlap quite a bit. A murder conviction with mitigating circumstances can result in a sentence as low as 5 years (that's rare) while a manslaughter conviction can be as high as 20 years. So the distinction is made in the sentencing, not in the actual charge.

it's worse than that. May have been a stalker relationship where the cop was a stalker, barged in on the black guy and shot him in his doorway while she was drunk and insane.
_________________________

There were rumors right after the shooting that she may have known the guy, but there was never any evidence that she did.

The cop had been having a one year long affair with her married w/kids partner. She had been texting and calling him just before she got home, and apparently had her mind on him when she went to the wrong apartment. She texted the lover at the same time she called 911 for the neighbor. She continued sexting her lover, just a couple of days after she shot her innocent neighbor dead. Can't imagine that went over too well with the jury.

It appears that she did mistake the guy for a burglar, but there was no good excuse for killing a guy who is just sitting at home in his own apartment, eating ice cream and minding his own business.

That was her story, but there's no evidence either way. If she's lying, then he came to the door and opened it, and then she shot him.

and as to saying "oh he was black" - this guy was an educated, very well liked employee at a tech company, perfect record, never did anything wrong, and some brain dead cop busted into HIS house and killed him for absolutely no reason at all.

What if some cop busted in your door tonight for no reason at all, saw you standing in your living room and shot you? And then said "oh I wuz scared, I thought this was my house."

2) the number on the door wasn't her apartment number, and 3) notice

"

The most obvious explanation is that she had history with the guy, murdered him, made up the "wrong apartment" story. Her story stinks. What's the chances you walk into wrong apartment, AND have to fatally shoot the guy you see in there? Zero chance.

Did HER apartment key fit HIS lock?
Posted by: gp, Decaffeinated By Popular Demand at October 01, 2019 01:57 PM (mk9aG)

1. The floors are exactly alike and the defense had multiple witnesses that have, in fact, gone to the wrong floor multiple times.
2. They showed in the trial that the apartment numbers are well above eye level for people, including her, under 5'6" tall. She didn't look up.
3. The door was open and the apartment was dark. She was exhausted, then confused, then the guy comes around the corner in what she thought was her apartment, then wasn't compliant with her requests as an officer.

If we are not near to getting to the crux of the biscuit, then when?

Following the Mueller timeline and the need for justice being dispensed, indictments of the coup conspirators need to be forthcoming in less than 8 weeks for trials to commence by October of next year.

It takes roughly a year from indictment to the start of trial, usually due to defense motions and prosecution counter motions.

And indictments this monumental nature would probably take even longer to get to trial.

So if indictments come down late October or early November your looking at the earliest trial start date of late October early November of next year, and if Trump loses those indictments go bye-bye roughly 5 minutes after the Donks President gets sworn.

This counter investigation has taken way too long.

And the clock is close to being run out.

We are almost 3-years into what could be DJT's only term as POTUS and the hacks from the previous administration who ran a fucking intel op on a private citizen, the opposition party Presidential nominee, are still walking among us and, it seems, have precisely zero to fear they will ever see the business end of an indictment.

We lose because we get easily distracted by the multitudes of petty corruption that have taken-place in The Swamp for decades rather than focusing like a fucking laser beam on the people who attempted to (politically) assassinate our President.

And I'm fucking tired of it.

2) the number on the door wasn't her apartment number, and 3) notice
that upon entering the wrong apartment noticing the furnishings weren't

Maybe maybe not, our highrise building is identical from floor to floor. Many have gotten off on the wrong floor wandered to the door that corresponds to theirs and started trying to open the door.

In these buildings there are frequently only 10 different keys / locks for the entire building and they shift them from floor to floor so it happens every so often that the same key fits the same door on a different floor.

Not saying it happened but the key for her apartment and his could fit and it would not be unusual.

Not really defending her, but I can see how it happened. What she thought was her door was ajar, so she is already assuming there's a bad guy in there, so her adrenaline is off the charts, and it went down from there. Negligent Homicide works for me, because maybe if she had not been worrying about her own hide, the EMTs would have gotten there sooner? (We don't really know how soom she called do we?)

I don't know and it doesn't matter anyway. Just saying I can see where she is telling the truth.

Not buying a word.

She's supposedly a cop, and she encounters a door ajar. She had a phone in her hand.....So she goes into cop mode....alone. She chose to enter an apartment that had no other way out, without calling anyone. And just had to shoot someone eating ice cream.

Years of excusing away treating cops one way and peasants another results in stupid shit like this.

right, the document WBR is obviously a group effort. There was a team of people writing it, and it obviously included Schiff or Fusion GPS who told Schiff about it (or he or someone much like him paid FGPS to write it).

So, schiff's game plan was to read his "parody" of what trump said and use that as impeachment bait because he assumed (like I did) that the trump whitehouse would never, ever ever ever release a transcript of him talking to a foreign leader.

but he fucked over schiff.

326 Texas murder laws are a bit different than other states; the only two types of Murder charges are Murder and Capital Murder, which means a death penalty case. (killing a cop, killing a child, other heinous murders)

All of the other distinctions for different kinds of Murder (premeditated or not) are dealt with during sentencing, not charging.

The difference between Murder and Manslaughter in Texas is that Murder requires proof of intent to kill; Manslaughter does not require intent. I think this is the reason Guyger was convicted of murder; she admitted holding the gun, pointing it at him, and pulling the trigger. That's intent. If she had maintained that the gun had gone off accidentally, then no intent.

One other factor - depending on mitigating circumstances, a Manslaughter charge can actually result in a heavier sentence than a murder charge.

So, it's not exactly reasonable for her to shoot a guy sitting on a couch, watching TV, even if he's big (and black) and even if it's her apartment. She's got the drop on him and there's no testimony that he charged her or "brandished" his ice cream bowl as a weapon. She just freaked out and shot him, or that's what the jury thought and I won't gainsay them on it.

But it's not a great case for murder, so likely she'll appeal and once the dust settles, they'll settle on some sort of manslaughter charge or a sentence that matches a manslaughter conviction.

Oh I agree - which is why her lawyers didn't let her try that one, no doubt. I just used it as an example to point out the difference.

And just to repeat, in Texas, with these circumstances, there's really not much difference between a Murder or a Manslaughter conviction. For those who brought it up, negligent homicide usually comes up in car accidents, especially with drunk driving, not when a weapon is involved.

I was reading louis L'amour the other day and he made a good point in novel. The character said always keep you gun loaded as it is useless in any other condition. And when everyone knows your guns are always loaded, there will be no accidents. Every time their is an accidental discharge, the person thought the gun was not loaded. *

He was eating ice cream on his couch when she came to the door. He got up when he heard her come in (as anybody would -- he probably thought he was about to be burglarized). The cop testified that she saw him standing and told him to put his hands up, but he walked towards her saying "hey, hey, hey" (he was probably about to tell her to get the hell out of his apartment), and that's when she shot him.

Seen it at a live fire - not the same though.

That's why they (and we) were taught to pour the powder down the muzzle with their right palm making a shield between the muzzle and the faces.

At a live fire the guy next to me still had some cartridge paper in the barrel (was our guess) that was an ember and when he poured the round during the timed shoot drill it flared back. Left him with a powder tattoo on his palm, but saved his face from the discharge - which was the intent of the way they drilled them.

Also had a clown in column go off because he didn't go to half cock after we loaded to march out. He fingered the trigger and, it worked!

I can see both sides too; I just don't believe that peasants are lesser human beings than cops. Her side is ugly, and ultimately indefensible.

The fact that the prosecutors went after her, and that the defense had her testify, underscores just how bad this was.

In the case of Andrew Finch, the man murdered by a cop in Wichita, the cops were able to hide behind the two idiot gamers that set that shitshow in motion. In that case, over a dozen police responded, and only one thought that there were grounds to shoot, so somehow that was justified and they're proud of themselves.

422 Negligent homicide, at least in Texas, is never used for these kinds of cases. It comes into play most often in the case of vehicular deaths, where the cause was clearly an accident, but one person cause the accident by their negligence. (ran a red light, etc) Also when the person who caused the accident was unaware of what they were doing because they were intoxicated. Negligent homicide never has "intent".

Pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger is always an intentional act. Now there may be reasons and mitigating factors that allow it (self defense) but it is never a matter of "negligence" under the law. At least not Texas law.

Flounder, if you read the IG's letter, the fil-in-the-blank form was completed originally. The "blanks" for information would have been the initial version of the complaint. That original complaint, before the lawyers dressed it up, needs to be seen.

Tex. Stat. Sec. 6.03

(d) A person acts with criminal negligence, or is criminally negligent, with respect to circumstances surrounding his conduct or the result of his conduct when he ought to be aware of a substantial and unjustifiable risk that the circumstances exist or the result will occur. The risk must be of such a nature and degree that the failure to perceive it constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of care that an ordinary person would exercise under all the circumstances as viewed from the actor's standpoint.

Nothing negligent about an intentional shooting. It's either murder or manslaughter.

yes, should not have been so emphatic on that. You're goofing around with a gun, you drop it, it goes off and shoots your best friend that's negligence since anyone should have known not to play games with a loaded gun like that. But it's for cases that are clearly accidents.

Actually, we're saying that the Jury got it right.

btw, the Judge's eyerolling wasn't just reserved for the Defendant. The best shot of that was when the Judge chewed out the Prosecutor at the beginning of the trial, since she had ordered no one to talk about it in public, and the night before the trial began the Prosecutor gave an interview about it to the local News Crew. I wanted her to say "Did you HEAR the words comin' OUTTA my MOUTH!!!"

I carry both outside and inside the house. If Guyger came in while I'm here, she'd stand a good chance of getting shot. But she wouldn't come in, because I'm not on her unwanted-bf list, and I don't "leave my door ajar." She'd have to break down the barricade, which alerts me, and sinks her "ajar" story. So she'd have to ambush me outside someplace.

The police at any level are trained to assess whether certain conduct meets the elements of certain enumerated offenses . They do not have any say in either how the DA charges the suspect or how the judge or jury determine whether the conduct meets the elements of any given crime.

So, no, they don't know all that much about what constitutes a crime in the final analysis. They just know whether to write Sec. 19.02, 19.03, 19.04, or 19.05. I don't even know if their opinion on the arrest form is admissible.

>>>>>>>>>> <i>Go to any former Soviet colony and you will see the same thing. Some
really nice cities where the Party elite lived and poverty in the

Go to any flyover
country* locale in this nation, and you will see precisely the same
devastation wrought by NAFTA and MFN for China.

There is NO
DIFFERENCE WHATSOVER between Crapitalism KKKommunism - both
systems are run by precisely the same parasites, and both systems
produce precisely the same results: The Top 1% get 99% of everything,
and the bottom 99% are left with 1% [to attempt to survive on].

That's
assuming the bottom 99% are allowed to receive anything whatsoever -
assuming they are not simply Holodomor'ed or Roe-v-Wade'ed right out of
existence.

*And you don't even need to go to flyover country. For
instance, if you're in the greater Tri-States/NYC area, then hop in
your car, drive north to Buffalo, and witness mile after mile after mile
of empty, boarded-up old business establishments manufacturing
facilities [as recently as 120 years ago, Buffalo was the 8th largest
city in the USA</a>].

480 195 "I've tried to get in a car that wasn't mine. Damn key wouldn't work though."

A few years went to the doctor and when I came out to the parking lot (cold sober), some asshole had put a HILLARY! sticker on my back bumper!

So I began to scrape at it and tear it off. Pretty soon cops roll up with an irate lady that says I am vandalizing her car! I tell her she probably vandalized MY car with her goddam sticker.

As I protest, cop helpfully suggests the fucking absolutely IDENTICAL car in the next stall is probably mine. It was. That's why I heard doors unlock when I pressed my keyfob, but they were from my car, behind my back!

Fortunately the Hillary lady was much nicer than her favorite candidate, and everyone laughed it off.

As I went to get into my car, the doors would not unlock and while I still heard locks clicking, I could see the latch knobs were not moving. I flagged down the cop as he drove away and asked if he could call me a mobile locksmith, because my car would not inlock.

That's when he looked past me and said "Holy shit!", and started laughing. I turned around to find the next car was ALSO absolutely identical to mine (dark green BMW sedan), and this one really was my car!!

Cops were there, because someone else at the hotel was making a stolen car report. His rental car key opened and started the other guys car - same make/model/color. His jacket was in back. Cops weren't surprised.

483 I'm not arguing with Quint about Louis L'amour, because he was eminently sensible about arms use in the West. But you do have to remind yourself, when you work up your carry plan, that an old-west revolver is always single action only (you have to cock the hammer each time you fire), and that is all the safety there is.

With a little practice, you can easily figure out how to "carry on an empty chamber, " so there is no chance that a quick flip of the hammer, or the pistol falling out as you ride (which must have happened a lot), will not result in a "negligent discharge."
And, it takes a lot of practice to cock and fire that first shot fast. They're really pretty safe to carry, if you have a thong to hold it in the holster when you are mounted.

"Modern" semi-auto pistols work a whole different way. I for one (and, likely the only damn one) am fine with carrying with an empty chamber, or loaded and locked, since the movements required to render the pistol active are trivially small compared to big old revolvers.

So there's nothing wrong with Louis's advice, but I still might not offer it, wholesale, to every pistol-carrier in today's situations.

484 Notice those ANTIFA AH's only show up in urban areas in secure Blue States. They know where their bread is buttered. And they are probably being financed by SOROS and Democrats. If they showed up in Podunck, SC the police and National Guard would show and and beat the living sh*t out of them, then the local judge would sentence them to 364 days in jail with no parole. Unless they actually created a riot, then they would rot in the State Prison.

Not true for new SA revolvers. They have a "half-cock" mode that is the safety. It can not be fired from that mode.
