MSNBC's Larry O'Donnell Claims, Without Evidence, That Putin Co-Signed for Trump's Loans
Update: Larry O'Donnell Apologizes

Update: Via Jack Straw--

If you can't see Twitter:

@Lawrence

Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president's finances that didn't go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn't have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

NeverTrump is sooo exhausted at falling for their left wing twitter pals' bullshit day after day.

One guy said he heard something.

He didn't see the documents. He just said he heard about them.

One guy.

Who admits he himself has no information personally.

MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell made a bombshell claim on his show Tuesday night about President Donald Trump’s taxes, only to report later in his show that the allegation is unverified.

O’Donnell reported that a lone source told him Russian oligarchs co-signed loans that Trump received from Deutsche Bank.

The story would confirm Democrats' theories about Trump business links to Russia, but O'Donnell said at the end of his show that NBC had not been able to verify the claim.

The White House shot back Wednesday, saying MSNBC had "little regard for the truth."

Correct. And why are they still platformed?

Lawrence O’Donnell dropped a potential bombshell about President Donald Trump’s taxes on his MSNBC show Tuesday night, only to acknowledge later in his broadcast that the report will need "a lot more verification."

Or even some verification. How about one (1) actual source?

O’Donnell opened his show with his possible scoop, hyping it during an exchange with Rachel Maddow, who hosts the show prior to his.

Of course. Tossing it with the Queen of Conspiracies.

MSNBC refuses to post the story itself:

Trump's attorney demands a retraction:

I hear the cucks are "exhausted" at having to refute MSNBC's lies, and would like to have a nice Democrat president that they're not expected to actually oppose with any vigor, which may cause further exhaustion.

Posted by: Lurking Lurker - Not In My Purview at August 28, 2019 04:22 PM (Ri4j/)

63 How about they cover this:

A classified August 2016 document Brennan hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to Obama containing information from someone Brennan described as "a critical informant close to Putin." The informant is believed to have been a Russian source recycled from a largely debunked dossier compiled by ex-British agent Christopher Steele for the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Queries former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice and U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power made to the NSA between January 2016 and January 2017 to unmask the identities of Trump figures caught up in upstream collections, or intercepts, of foreign nationals -- including logs that remain under lock and key at an Obama Foundation storage site outside Chicago.
An Obama "interagency memorandum of understanding" signed by the FBI and CIA enabling outside contractors -- including possibly Clinton campaign contractor Fusion GPS -- to gain "improper access" (per a court opinion) to raw FISA data from November 2015 to April 2016.

How about uncovering the real crooks and traitors?

RCI

The media are soiling their pants knowing what they are hiding and covering up. They cannot handle the bare truth that Obama was the worst President in history - a hack, a liar, and a criminal - along with all of his mates.

127 63 How about they cover this:

Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president's finances that didn't go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn't have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

226 Here's what I see: Comey OIG Report lands tomorrow. 3-4 weeks after that lands the FISA Abuse OIG Report. Also rumors swirling this week that McCabe is about to indicted.

In short, Deep State and Progressive politicians (but I repeat myself) are about to receive multiple body blows. Sure, the Progressive media has had years to set up their counter-narrative (including McCabe's recent hiring by CNN), but unlike the previous 3 years, they won't be able to play their favorite "ignore and not report news" card when these reports land.

So, the Progressive collective, clearly including MSNBC generally, and Lawrence O'Donnell in particular, are now in the throws of trying to roll out a different narrative to counter the incoming WEEKS and MONTHS of bad-for-Progressive news cycle.

This Trump-Co-Signor-Russian story is just one of the opening shots. They THINK this is going to trying to Narrative, but good Lord, it reeks of desperation given the paucity of sourcing - one, who hasn't seen the documents, apparently.

Undoubtedly, Progressive Media Inc. has more than this to try to move the incoming Narrative. Expect coordinated BOMB SHELL stories from Progressive Inc. over the next few weeks and months. And lots of Racism and Nazi White Supremacy. Probably also a series of whatever other dirt they have stored as ammunition on Trump and GOP.

Retractions don't alter that.

You repeat crap often enough even if people know it's probably false they still psychologically believe it, or form a vague negative idea of the object of the attack.

This sort of tactic works in maintaining the peer pressure and emotional status quo in society.

FBI and IRS Raid Home of UAW President Gary Jones - Find "Bundles of Cash" - Nationwide Union Corruption Sweep...

Posted on August 28, 2019 by sundance

Reports today about FBI raids on the homes of United Auto Workers (UAW) President Gary Jones who is under investigation in a nationwide corruption sweep.

also Detroit news

One neighbor, 47-year-old J. Kevin Telepo, became so intrigued that he grabbed his Swarovski binoculars, sat in his dining room and zoomed in on Jones' garage. That's where he saw FBI agents combing through all sorts of stuff: cash, a golf bag and what appeared to be a safe, he said.

Telepo said he saw the agents counting "wads" of cash. He texted his wife and neighbors about the raid.

"FBI raiding neighbor's house" read the first text.

"What did he do?" responded his wife.

He wrote back: "Not sure. FBI & IRS. Pile of cash in garage."

272 226 Here's what I see: Comey OIG Report lands tomorrow.

===========

We've said for years that classical political polling is dead. I think that's guaranteed in the Trump era. The Dems killed the "profession" in their blitzkrieg of trying to silence and smear average Joe GOP voters and political fund contributors. Who in their right mind on the Right would go on record with a Liberal political poster saying they are going to vote Trump?

The shock troops of the Left have made clear they are willing to smear anyone anywhere for taking any action that supports Trump 2020 campaign. We're all still going to do it, at least by going to the polls and pulling the lever, but who in their right mind would willingly give their personal information to a pollster? In this modern era, doing so puts at risk your very livelihood and reputation.

Good work, Dems, on getting the GOP voters to this point, I guess. But the fallout from that practice is that what was formally a 2 to 5% error rate in polling now grows to what, north of 10% (or more)?

They've guaranteed that 2020 election is going to be a black box until election night. When we get a repeat of 2016 election, not sure how many more tears the Left has to fall.

356 EU...BREXIT.... What a world and time to be alive. Citizens in the EU bloc HATE the EU. It's an unaccountable bureaucracy run by liberal globalist elitists. Really, liberal German elitists.

It was an experiment who's outcome was easily predictable from the outset. As governance experiments go, it won't last 100 years. Probably not 50 years. Which is short, in the timeline of history when it comes to monetary policy experiments. Had they been able to maintain discipline and focus on currency issues, it MIGHT have survived, but Obama's adventures in Middle East foreign policy caused the Syrian war and the resulting refugee crisis. The exodus of Middle Eastern anti-western refugees to the EU continues to appall the native Europeans in various countries, but they are powerless to prevent it because of no-border diversity Globalism.

For record, it's not a Muslim issue per se. It's a culture issue, and when you have a large influx of non-native people to anywhere, it causes all sorts of cultural problems. When the non-native transplants openly hate their host countries and native citizens, you get what what they now have. In this case, it happens to be anti-western Muslims, but the same effect would happen if you transplanted a large slog of one cultural identify into another where the transplants hate the natives and everything they stand for. E.g., take a 100,000 San Francisco white liberals and transplant them into Utah and see what happens.

I was born and raised in California, but then moved to Oregon. But it's been strange. Oregonians hate the California exodus. Which is odd, given the common liberal traditions between the two States. Texas, Kentucky, Texas, etc., hating CalExit I get.

Must say, I moved to Oregon 5 years ago and was immediately struck by the militant liberalism in the Pacific North West vs. the hippy-communism variety in California. To people who wonder if Texas is really where they want to go - just want to point out that you don't flee to the Rebel Base because of the great climate and scenery, you go to the Rebel Base because it's the Rebel Base.

488 I'm a nipple man myself. Boobs can be of any size A to D if they are sporting the proper nipplage. Yeah that gets right to the edge of TMI even for aos.

This is Trump's move to try and push back Birthright Citizenship - the two issues are joined at the hip, if you bring up one, you gotta address the other.

I think it's a mistake - this is going to be hugely unpopular, this will get in front of a Federal Judge very quickly, he'll slap it down, everyone will cheer, and no one will ever try to address Birthright Citizenship again.

But Trump will be able to say "hey I tried! Told you guys I'd try!!!!" And that will be that. Personally, I think trying to fix a problem stupidly is worse than doing nothing at all.

Pretty much Ted Nugent philosophy. He left a beautiful area to come to Texas.

496 Larry O'Donnell graduated from Harvard with a degree in Economics in 1976 and in his Wikipedia entry, he describes himself as a "European practical socialist". I never watch MSNBC or any Network channel and so I have never heard Larry O'Donnell on air. Whenever you hear a progressive/socialist/communist/marxist talk about being practical, he/she/it are usually talking about lying to the rubes. He has also been an actor and writer for some television show called the "West Wing" which I have never watched. I believe that Mr. O'Donnell is emotionally unstable and if there was ever such a thing as male menopause, he is definitely suffering from it. For anyone to believe for even a moment that an elected president would get a co-signature for a loan from Putin and to say so on television with no sources, beggars belief. Has Larry had a stroke? Clearly, he wanted the emotional satisfaction if only for a moment of nailing Donald Trump on air. A grown man acting like a school girl lying about her boyfriend. I think he should put a squirt gun to his forehead and pull the trigger.
