At least one camera stationed in the hallway outside billionaire financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's prison cell, where officials say he hanged himself earlier this month, had footage that was deemed unusable, The Washington Post reports. While one hallway camera had unusable footage, another nearby camera caught clearer video, the Post noted, adding that it is unknown why certain footage was useable while some was not, as well as the extent of the glitch.Okay, jokes aside, it sounds like both cameras were filming the same thing (pretty much), and one glitched, but the other provided usable footage. So I don't think this proves a conspiracy. Yet.

There was a "big scandal" in San Francisco when a mass-robbery occurred on a BART (subway) train car, where 30 "youths" seized control of the car and robbed everyone inside before fleeing at the next station. Since all BART cars have surveillance cameras permanently installed in the ceiling (and which are clearly visible to passengers), everyone demanded to see the video of the incident.
It was only at this point where BART was forced to admit that ALL of the surveillance cameras were fakes, and have never been recording anything. They were just there for show, to shut up the critics who had previously demanded that cameras be installed.
Now, or so they claim, the cameras are are functional. Yeah, right.

Federal reserve doesn't coin money. Banks "create" money, yes, but not in the sense of physical production.
Also the original purpose of the federal reserve is to bank out financial institutions as opposed to relying on spontaneous organization of such by private individuals, like JP Morgan back in the day.

Ugh, YES. And the problem worsens the longer someone has been in any particular level of government. I can't tell you how many people I've seen start off their careers in state government, bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to change things to make them more efficient and streamlined and user-friendly, only to have their dreams crushed under the miserable weight of the bureaucratic leviathan. A year into the job they either leave to find something in the private sector, or they become another cog in the machine.
I count myself among the latter group, but I never had any illusions about making government "better." I always feel like a traitor, honestly, working in government when I HAAAAATE government bullshit. I like to think I at least try to advocate for some sanity when the more ridiculous referendums come down from The Powers That Be who believe that people are widgets.

..I have never seen camera equipment outside of a casino, bank, or very high end retailer that was newer than the early 90's unless the building or wing was brand new construction. Even all of the art museum stuff was ancient.
If they're pencil-whipping logs and sleeping on the job at that prison, then honestly every last staff member from the top to the bottom needs to be canned. There is no salvaging that.

We're in a different time now. In the past things were able to be kept quiet. Maybe not murder, but domestic problems, minor crimes, etc. Nowadays everyone has a camera. Everything with celebrities hits the news in minutes. Billion-dollar corporations have to protect their brand. Sports franchises are billion-dollar corporations. It's a cost-benefit calculation. How much damage can the brand take and survive versus how many games will we lose.

Axshually, not true. All NFL players have a good conduct clause in their contract which holds them to a higher standard of conduct at all times. They agree to be held to a higher standard as part of the deal have getting wheelbarrows full of cash pushed to them.

MCC has a terrific record for not having suicides. And country lockup probably has more than one. And here we have people not in to sleep it off before being charged with DUI. We have bad people, warped people, looking at a very dark future. But MCC managed to get by for decades with only one failure.
To presume that the boys always slept through their shifts, and always falsified the logs and the cameras were never checked is possible, but it fails when you consider that....the system worked very well for decades.
So, either they had incredible luck while goofing off, or they didn't ever goof off.
Except this night with regard to a guy a lot of people would wish dead already for purposes of convenience, not justice. The highest profile prisoner outside of supermax in the country. This one night...
