Joe Walsh is going to challenge Trump because, whatever, I guess he's got some child-support bills that need payin'.

Joe Walsh, the impetuous former Republican congressman, will announce a beyond-long-shot primary bid against President Trump in the coming days, the New York Times reports.
Walsh, who was elected out of Illinois as part of the Tea Party wave of 2010, then ousted by Democrat Tammy Duckworth two years later, made his name as a loud adversary of President Obama (while gaining some personal notoriety on the left for his inability to make child-care payments).

Breitbart notes that Joe Walsh has run as a pro-choice moderate previously:

Walsh is something of a political chameleon. He ran for Congress in 1996 as a moderate, pro-choice Republican, challenging long-time Democrat incumbent Rep. Sidney Yates in the 9th district of Illinois. He lost; this author likewise challenged a Democrat incumbent in 2010 and lost, though that effort helped Walsh win in the nearby 8th district, where he unseated Rep. Melissa Bean (D-IL) by a handful of votes and survived a long recount battle.

The other funny thing was the wines were all Costco quality selling for $12/glass. The beer was actually pretty good stuff at $8/bottle.

But one approach I can think of - they scan and OCR every envelope that goes to a postal sort. So I would think they could automatically pull all letters addressed to the family. When The Watcher sends one, ascertain the box or boxes it possibly came from and pull security footage from nearby.

A second one. He made an early defense of Mueller. One of his shticks is "big cop supporter." Beats the drum. Well, he couldn't imagine an honorable law enforcement figure like swamp lawyer profiteer apparatchik Mueller possibly being anything but honorable. "It's insulting and UnAmerican to say such things!" Either he was intentionally BSing or he was totally ignorant about what rises tot he top in a bureaucracy.

Walsh played the big tea partier but you can see he is simply another carpetbagger. WIND is in Chicago, which is as RHINO as it gets so being anti trump likely gives him a ratings niche. Also, his wife has political ambitions and I don't doubt his anti trump stance helps her with the Illinois swap either directly or indirectly.

In a perfect world this kills his radio show and public presence. F that piece of crap

I once read a book by the studio exec who was responsible for a lot of the New York punk scene in the 70s, and had also been the guy responsible for The Doors.

Now, he had nothing bad to say about any of those scum-of-earth punks at any point. He even said that Lou Reed was a great guy to work with. Lou freakin' Reed.

I chaperoned a field trip of junior high students to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland a while back. There was a Doors special exhibit going on, so took the kids up there to see it. They had never really heard of Morrison or the Doors, since they were so much younger than my 29 years.

Anyway, they found the exhibit creepy and weird and asked if we could please get the heck out of there asap. Something about Morrison made their danger radar ping nonstop.

At various times he has been both for and against Abortion.Throughout his political career he has engaged in what can only be described as "street stunts" to draw attention to himself. He supported Donald Trump but then unsupported him because of "Russian Collusion" accusations. He also supported Robert Mueller and expressed full confidence in his team and their report which was not yet complete at that time.

If this guy is actually conservative he should not be elected as one because he strikes me as a loosely principled opportunist. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, he has filed to terminate his child support obligations. I'm sure he can be relied upon to keep any promises he makes to voters.

He's no Ted Kennedy for sure. I guess a lot a people don't pay their child support. And like many others Joe lost his driver's license for driving without insurance.

He does have a radio show. I listened to brief bit of it and I can't believe, he managed to get into syndication. He could benefit from a real spark plug like Joe Biden. I guess it beats working for a living.
