Posted by: Vic at August 15, 2019 09:37 AM (mpXpK)

27 The only plausible fish this could be is a swordfish and it's just wrong. The sword is way short in proportion.

The pectoral fins are too far forward. If you take the dorsal fin as the center line (it is) then the eyes are out of whack. The left eye is a lot lower on the face.

Also why would you cut off a fish head to stand it neatly upright. It says fish shop, as in a place to buy fish. This attraction should be near fish for sale.

The whole thing is a dog's breakfast designed to disguise that fact that while Brack does a respectable formica countertop he doesn't get the angles of it right.

66 I was at an oil service company in the 80's, business was bad, everyone knew that big layoffs were coming, and they did - and then suddenly the company realized that all of the really *good* employees were jumping ship and going elsewhere as fast as they could, and the only ones fighting to stay were the half wits and slackers who knew they could never get another job anywhere else. It was fun watching management try to figure that one out. I remember drug tests were one big try that they thought was going to fix everything, they did a surprise test on everyone. Most everyone passed, but the 3 biggest suckups who the manager loved, who were always buttering him up and pretending they were oh so eager, failed, and he had to fire them. Well, that was the end of surprise drug tests!

This.

CIA was always more interested in hiring people from the right schools/family than in hiring based on merit. They should have been recruiting tough inner city narcotics cops. Those guys understand how to work informants.

MI6 makes the same error. Any sane Limey intelligence service would consider attendance at Cambridge to be a disqualifier, considering the number of commie traitors that Cambridge produced.

A spindle. Brother to folding and mutilating.

Since it got willow'd: Mornin' Horde. I remain puzzled about something regarding the current state of affairs...if, as so many say, a political changeover with disastrous results is, in fact, inevitable, why do we not see more radical measures being taken by various folks outside the more "respectable" parties? Is it the tendency to not want to initiate a fight? Or do only a very small number of people see this as the case?

Look, I'd rather live out the last third of my life in peace. I'm in no position to talk about starting anything. But if a catastrophic result is so obviously coming, why not act now? That is why it absolutley essential that all those who perpetrated these crimes be made to pay a heavy price.

Concomitant to that are wide ranging sweeping overhauls of our LE and IC apparatus so that this can never be attempted again.

But so far nobody has paid a price and nothing has been done on the LE/IC side to make sure this does not happen again.

Imagine the deprivations of a Biden/Harris administration?

They will more than likely get the band back together.

I could see them bringing back Rhodes, Rice, Jarret, Powers et al.

I could see Eric Holder taking another tour as AG for a Biden/Harris administration.

I could see Clapper and Brennan being tapped to come back in to "clean up" the "mess" the Trump administration created of the LE and IC apparatus.

This is going to happen, I know it, you know it, everyone knows it.

This is intolerable but that's whats going to happen without true justice and sweeping changes being delivered.

The hyoid bone was broken, and that only happens in 6% of suicides by hanging. It's extremely commom in murder by strangulation.

The evidence, thus far, tilts heavily to a conclusion of murder.

I've been of the opinion that it wasn't technically murder, that the powers-that-be just arranged things so that he'd have the means to kill himself and then gave him a nudge. It'd be the smart way to handle it, with little risk of a capital murder charge.

Reagan brought some respect back, but only for the part of the population that wanted a strong America. Bush I was the turning point. The Cabal realized they could put anybody they wanted in the office. So, they gave us a perv that liked to shove cigars up cooches. Bush II proved that any idiot could be President. It's human nature.

I've mentioned a number of times that one of the first things that Obama and Holder did when taking office was to neuter the Inspector Generals offices throughout the government. One of the biggest changes they made was force the IGs to get permission to review any information from the agency they were overseeing, effectively ending their ability to do oversight.

The rule was not overturned until late in the Obama presidency and the fight was led by Chuck Grassley and DOJ IG Michael Horowitz.

For all intents, the Obama administration operated for virtually it's entire 2 terms with no real oversight. A big reason they were able to get away with all the things they did.

264 Gilmour's big trick - and he's made a fine career of it - is the string bending. Often extreme bending. He's the absolute master of it. There are some very revealing "How to play like Gilmour" vids on Youtube that spell out his style, and you realize how much he depends on that style of bending.

I prefer more overall versatile guitarists like Howe, Lifeson and Hackett, but Gilmour's always been a favorite of mine too.

The way Gilmour made the guitar sound is unique, I think. Waters could write some great lyrics, but Gilmour's music around them is what lifts Pink Floyd to another level. The guitar isn't just a guitar, it's another voice. It's been forever since I listen to any Floyd, however, so I blanking on examples. But they are my top two favorite band of all time. Anybody else is a very distant third.

339 Strangulation by bed sheet doesn't break anything. It's an exercise of cutting blood flow to the brain by way of blocking the carotid arteries.

********

I'll try one more time*. The amount of circumferential compression required to compress the carotid arteres is enough to fracture the rather thin, delicate and uniquely susceptible hyoid bone.

I'm not saying fractured hyoid proves he committed suicide, but it also doesn't prove he was strangled or karate chopped or killed by shoving a swordfish up his porthole. It is merely one piece of information in what is sure to be a kaleidoscope of obfuscation, red herrings and misdirections.

345 310 I've always thought that Gilmour's lead was often about what he didn't say. There are guitarists with a lot more "flash", but Gilmour is one of the greats.
Posted by: Anonymous White Male at August 15, 2019 10:29 AM (m79Dg)

The way Gilmour made the guitar sound is unique, I think. Waters could write some great lyrics, but Gilmour's music around them is what lifts Pink Floyd to another level. The guitar isn't just a guitar, it's another voice. It's been forever since I listen to any Floyd, however, so I blanking on examples. But they are my top two favorite band of all time. Anybody else is a very distant third. "

Listened to a discussion with him about "The Great Gig in the Sky", where they let the vocalist go wild with the improv. Gilmour said the key to writing a piece where someone can do that is to know how to leave enough spaces in it so that other things can happen.

the vocalist, Clare Torry, was also in on that interview, and she said that she really had no idea what they wanted, and they told her "well just go all out, do whatever you feel" and so she figured she'd just go way over the top the first time, and then they could tell her what they really wanted. She said after that first run, she was embarrassed, she thought she had sounded ridiculous, and was gobsmacked when they said "Thank you! No need to do it again, that's exactly what we were looking for!!!"

Slow Joe and Fauxahontas.

Sounds like a 1940s radio show.

411 I've been of the opinion that it wasn't technically
murder, that the powers-that-be just arranged things so that he'd have
the means to kill himself and then gave him a nudge. It'd be the smart
way to handle it, with little risk of a capital murder charge.

The autopsy findings if verified, have me rethinking things.

417 >>I heard on the radio that Epstein had a younger brother. Saw Sargon's video on him lost night and found that he came from middle class and was a public school teacher.

Mark Epstein was a bit more than that. He was the head of Cooper Union, a private college in New York and he was accused of financial mismanagement there.

He also somehow ended up with a big apartment building not far from Jeffrey's mansion in NY that was used to house many of Epstein's victims, partners and even the pilots of his planes. The building formerly was owned by, wait for it, Les Wexner, the same guy Jeffrey got his mansion and money from.

He also testified in Epstein's 2009 trail that he only saw Trump on Epstein's plane once, a return trip from Florida to NY, and it was one of the smaller jets not the Lolita Express.

Yes. And thanks to Trump's 2017 EO about asset seizure from human traffickers, the government can take everything and then parcel it out to victims.
