Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Powerful Michigan Political Family Ends Longtime Support of Fake Libertarian Liberal Justin AmashI imagine that he's been reassured by certain factions that he will get corporate support if he runs for president, and that he'll get corporate gigs after he loses. So I don't think he really cares about elective politics anymore anyway. The Ruling Class protects its pawns. (To some extent, at least.)The powerful DeVos family of West Michigan is ending its longtime support of U.S. Rep. Justin Amash, the libertarian Republican who has repeatedly clashed with President Donald Trump. The family has not made any political contributions to Amash this cycle and "they have no plans to do so," said family spokesman Nick Wasmiller. ... "Family members have expressed increasing concerns about a lack of representation for their district, the Third Congressional, and I would say an inability to advance efforts connected to important policy matters," he said. They also cited his Ruling-Class-pleasing support for impeachment. The Freedom Caucus is sick of his Kristol Meth addiction too. The House Freedom Caucus on Monday night formally condemned one of its founding members for declaring that President Trump committed impeachable offenses, but stopped short of kicking Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) out of the hard-line conservative group. Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee and a former chairman of the Freedom Caucus, said that every single member in attendance during a weekly caucus meeting was unified in their opposition toward Amash's comments. The group, which took a show of hands, needs the support of 80 percent of its members to take a formal position on an issue. "It was every single person who totally disagrees with what he says," Jordan said after the meeting. Amash did not attend the meeting, but Jordan said he spoke to Amash Saturday night to ask, "What are you doing?" Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

kallisto, Hannity's incoherent rambling monologues are the comic highlight of his radio thing. Any open-minded right-thinking listener trying to catch up on epochal developments will be *less* informed and far more confused after one of those. That's why I can only imagine what a smart, organized and articulate voice with Hannity's reach might accomplish in today's country, where there is nothing resembling a functioning press.

Without calling him by name, Mark Steyn guest-hosted for Rush today and took a well-earned shot at Hannity for singing the praises of the FBI field agents all the time. Steyn correctly noted it wasn't just the upper echelon that committed criminal acts. Hannity is to be applauded for the excellent coverage of the Deep State corruption, but the line about the honorable 99.9 percent is a window into the infantile side of far too many conservatives. 272 I too wish I had your confidence J.J. I have become
so jaded that I heartily believe that about half the American population are nothing more than trained circus animals, jumping to the ringmaster's call. And the ringmaster's are the media. I base much of this disillusionment on Obama being elected for the 2nd time. 1st time was a giveaway (unfortunately) but the 2nd was inexcusable and only explained by my circus analogy. Posted by: LGoPs at May 22, 2019 03:43 PM (jYEmF) =========================== The worry-warts are spending too much time watching the news instead of listening to their fellow Americans. Trump is making serious inroads in traditionally Dem minority blocs, especially among male voters. The 2016 had one of the largest male voter turnouts in fifty years, IIRC. That margin is not going to shrink. As for comparing a Trump campaign to a McCain or a Romney campaign, well, that's on you, pal. As deep throat said in watergate "follow the money!" Amash and groper joe biden have financial ties to communist china who is calling in its paid running dogs. The donor class who makes money from free trade with china destroying america's working class are putting pressure on politicians and so is anti trump media showing farmers who could be hurt ;but not industrial workers who have been destroyed. "just follow the money!"

I read this morning that there's something like 182 Electoral College votes that will now be awarded to the eventual "popular vote winner." This is a pretty significant happening, here.
They are actively destroying The United States of America. Posted by: Sponge So when Trump wins the "National Popular Vote" in 2020, winning all but California, New York, Illinois and several other Commie states like Washington and Oregon, guess what? He fucking wins the election, 538 electoral votes to ZERO. Posted by: Sharkman at May 22, 2019 04:05 PM (fdxBF) 358
I see this as binary.
1. Amash has a principled reason for believing impeachment is necessary. or 2. He has an ulterior motive. The latter seems most likely unless he has laid out his reasoning and it appears sound and sincere. I have not seen that yet from him, just broad declarations about needing to impeach. Thus, there is probably an ulterior motive, and if so he needs to go. At this point, will he even run in 2020? Posted by: Lex at May 22, 2019 04:05 PM (jUOcg) 359
