Is "Rub And A Tug" Back On The Table In South Florida?
What A Surprise: The Cops Bungled The Kraft Sting...

The more laws we have, the more power government has. That is axiomatic for people with functioning brains, and here is a fine example of the problems unbridled government power can cause. Whether you think prostitution is victimless crime, the overreach by law enforcement in this case is obscene.

'Bungled from the beginning': How Robert Kraft's sex sting was marred by cops' missteps

Officials said their efforts were aimed in part at targeting suspected human trafficking at the massage parlors. They pointed to state health department inspections suggesting that sex workers from Asia were living at the businesses.

“Obviously our concern in this investigation centers around … the possibility of victims of human trafficking, the appearance of that,” Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr said in February, adding that customers enable such illicit businesses to “flourish.”

State Attorney Dave Aronberg called human trafficking “evil in our midst,” adding that there is “the cold reality that many prostitutes in cases like this are themselves victims, often lured into this country with promises of a better life.”

But Aronberg’s office walked back the claims, telling Kraft’s judge that there was no evidence of human trafficking. It was just misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution charges for the men, and felony charges of making money from prostitution for the women.

Officials have said they hoped the sex workers would cooperate with investigators so they could bring more serious charges. That didn’t happen.

I love how the case went from uncovering a vast network of human traffickers -- modern day slavers -- to a hugely expensive and failed sting to rout out hand-jobs!

And gee...maybe these women didn't feel like cooperating because they sort of liked being in the United States instead of some third-world shithole.

And it sounds like somebody lied to the judge to get the warrant, because they admitted that there is no evidence of human trafficking!

The really sad part of this sordid mess is that without Kraft's involvement, which meant an unlimited defense fund, the cops would probably have gotten away with their lies and baldfaced unconstitutional behavior. If it takes a billionaire to get justice in America, something is broken.

Back when this story first broke it was what, a multi-month investigation into sex slavery and how they would move the girls to different locations every week or so...

Bull shit.

If that was true, and the cops watched this going on for months, them Trump must be a RUSSIAN agent too.

88 Florida's Constitution has a "Sunshine" law.

All guvmint docs, videos, emails, texts, blah, blah are open for public consumption except in cases of on-going popo investigations and the like.

You can delay, but you better have a good reason. Much money has been paid out and people have gone to jail for not producing what is asked for in a timely manner even for mundane, everyday stuff.

The taxpayers of the State have every right to see what their police departments have spent the taxpayer's money on even if it's on a nasty old bastard getting his freak on.

But money talks and the law only applies to the great unwashed.

Meh. I don't like cop outs and victimization.

If you shoot heroin and then pimp yourself out to buy more, you are exploiting yourself.

If you are child or retarded person being sold into sex trafficking or manipulated by some pedo groomer into sex acts, you are being exploited.

Look for that to break wide open after DECLAS and stage 2 of Horowitz IG report.

Also look for the name Ray Chandler ( she is a "photographer" ) to pop up if you haven't seen it already.

NXIVM is currently being prosecuted for human trafficking; specifically, three Mexican teens held a sex slaves by Raniere (and Mack?). Given NXIVM's presence in Mexico, and Carlos Salinas' son's involvement in the cult, it will be interesting to see the extent of their human trafficking (doubt it's just the once w/the 3 girls). Seem to recall reading that when NXIVM was done with sex slaves they handed them off to Jeffrey Epstein? No idea if that was speculation or if it's been confirmed.

The close proximity of both NXIVM and Epstein to Democrat biggies in NY, including the Clintons, would explain why both of these scandals have been mostly ignored by the MSM.

Look at how much more coverage Kraft got for a happy ending vs. a guy who owns an island with underage sex slaves, that by the way, was frequented by a former POTUS and his wife, a Harvard law professor, a UK prince, and so many more international VIPs.

They also used to say that prostitutes were poor innocents who were forced into prostitution and exploited by those nasty men. Of course, in another perspective, prostitutes were women who preferred prostitution to taking a legitimate job, and who exploited the natural needs of men to make easy money.

The truth, of course, is a linear combination of the two perspectives, with the coefficients varying from case to case.

194 Current Dim media fav Petey Butt-gig says that we need to eliminate American founder Thomas Jefferson's name from all buildings and other memorials, because Jefferson owned slaves and may even have had sex with one of his slaves.

Hopefully somebody will ask Butt-gig if that means he also supports outlawing Islam in the U.S.

After all, Islam's founder was a slave-owning, slave-trading, war-mongering, blatantly sexist and misogynistic, polygamous, child-marrying pedophile. If we can't tolerate buildings that honor slave-owner/slave-diddler Jefferson, then we surely also can't tolerate buildings that honor the even more egregiously offensive slave-owner/kiddie-diddler Mohammad.

When is Butt-gig going to call for all mosques in the U.S. to be burned down or re-purposed, and the name Mohammad forever stricken from polite discourse?

This is a pet peeve of mine. The FBI busted a dozen massage parlors where I live, with lurid accusations about women from the far east who were misled into believing they'd be doing garment work and then forced into prostitution once they arrived. Weeping "victims" were paraded for the cameras, virgins who were kidnapped from the streets and broken by pimps from central casting to be sex slaves in the lucrative US market.

You had to follow the story for a few months, but in the end it was clear the vast majority were Korean and Chinese hookers who'd gone into debt to get smuggled into the US because they thought the money would be better here than in the home country. They "couldn't" go to the cops because that would mean deportation, which... if you were forced into sex slavery in a foreign country, would deportation back to your family really be something you'd see as a bad outcome?

It all sounds a lot more like "illegal immigration" to me than "human trafficking". They knew the score before they took the deal, knew they were entering the country illegally, knew what they were doing here would be illegal.

It's like women have no longer have agency. Any time they do something bad it's the fault of bad men, probably Rape Culture and Toxic Masculinity. And not, you know, greed.

257 This case looked doomed from the very beginning, given the false prosecution statements to get the very unusual warrant, the fake traffic stop designed to capture Krafts identity, the failure to account for Kraft not paying extra for the tug (he got it for the rub price, implying no charge sex acts) and, of course, the hamhanded blackmail attempts from the cops and prosecutors, who tried to extort a quick guilty plea in return for not releasing the tapes.
