88 Anyone here have experience with hobby drones? Because I'm wondering about an idea for a vigilante group that uses then to watch parts of the USA-MEX border. Call it a "Border Drone Club". The idea would be that you pay an entry fee that allows organizers to buy a drone in your name. Once they have a large number of drone in their fleet, say over 60, they program them to cover a grid along the border and send back their camera feeds back over the internet. Then the idea would be to allow people over the internet to watch the feeds with the hope that they'd trigger a alert if they spotted someone illegally crossing. If a club member verifies it looks like a legit alert, they'd forward that alert somehow to CBP, perhaps by tweeting to that sector's Twitter account.

As I understand it these things only have an ability to stay in the air 30 minutes or so on a charge.. so you'd have to program the fleet to take "shifts", but automatically flying a freshly charged drone to takeover for one that needs to return for a recharge.

I dunno.. seems like a fun project. But I'm not sure if the technology is there yet to pull something like this off.

We are on an irrigation system. One of his sprinklers was stuck and shooting at/through the back fence. Sounded like a huge water fountain that I couldn't see. He's always been a pain in the ass. Planted a huge tree on the easement. Dad built the back fence around that damn tree.

Not being able to run Dissconnect and ad block makes the browser unusable.

They were supposed to push a fix, but it has not gotten to my install yet.

Was able to get WaterFox to let me install ad block which is the bare minimum for browsing for me.

I will probably have to completely remove firefox as I did a refresh firefox and it blew away all addons and plugins so now all websites are rendered incorrectly and look like they are from 1998.

This is the main problem with overreliance on these tech fascists, they don't care about delivering products that actually work anymore all they care about is control.

Yeah, it was pretty horrific yesterday. But I changed my 'Preferences' like I outlined above late yesterday and sometime overnight everything was restored back to normal. Without NoScript running I was freaking amazed at the number of advertisements on every page.

You might have to restart FireFox for the fix to kick in.

The best tomato crop I ever got was from a couple of large pots my wife got down at the beach and brought back. I put them up on a picnic table in the back. That lasted until a big thunderstorm swept in and blew them off the table and spilled the dirt all over the yard.

I don't read articles much these days since the quality of reporting often matches the rejection of objectivity and honesty in slapping together content, but if the admin is working to deport legal immigrants on the dole, does that mean the usual illegal ones get to remain?

Or is this a cost saving measure in that those deported still are on the dole, but the cheques are delivered to their original homes where the money goes quite a bit further?

I don't think it's that straightforward. Developing websites that look good - or even work - in all browsers is (or used to be) terribly difficult. You spend about 20% of the development time getting it working in yours, then another 20% getting it looking good. The rest of the development time is tweaking every little thing to get it working in all the others.
On the other side, browser developers try to make. a secure, fast browser that works on all the big sites, then get enough market share that people start checking their sites against it. Frameworks like jQuery and Dojo tried to bridge the gap and give common functionality and appearance across browsers, but there were always little things that would just end up unsupported in one browser or another. Not to mention that using a framework necessarily adds overhead that increases your site's download size and render speed.
It's a lot easier to use an off-the-shelf rendering engine and Javascript engine. That way you're getting some site compatibility out of the box. If the site works in Mozilla or Chrome, there's a good chance it will work with your browser. It's a question of where your resources are best allocated.

I had older versions of Firefox on a couple of flash drives, so I uninstalled the newest version and installed the older version with ALL updates turned off. I also keep a backup of all my bookmarks (updated weekly) on a couple of external drives so I can reinstall them. I have AdBlock on this version of Firefox as well. And, yes, a few sites aren't happy with the older version, such as FacePlant and my bank. For them, I have IE11 or Chrome.

270 I just finished watching the Polly video. Outstanding. I read Kazcynski's manifesto when it was first published and took it seriously. That was over 20 years ago. Some of the excerpts she highlighted are even more disturbing today.

It also looks like the CIA was turned by the commies from day one.

272 Polly does some good stuff, and I like to try to get outside the circle of friends in the whole RedPilled thing .. try to find people that put effort into it and have enough "expertise" to think independently. (I think Polly is a lawyer, but not sure about that ... maybe worked with one or something.)

any way, she also looked into some of the Foundations, and how many there are, tax free playgrounds for the billionaires to do their "charity" work ... of turning the world into their NPC consumer drones.

She found the study by BigFoundation talking directly about using social media as a Trojan Horse for their agenda ... and shortly after that saying people need negative feedback (punishment) for WrongThink, basically. The whole nudge nudge gradualism, is becoming push/shove.

right, or "they" were the commies, or whatever group that held the totalitarian views, and didn't let go of the global domination by oligarchs dreams. The control of currency and monetary policy is a big part of top down control. There are indeed advantages to the liquidity of fiat currency, but it takes even bigger government to fight enemies foreign and domestic ... on the economic level, since as we see, the oligarchs become too big to fail OR JAIL.

We let them run our government, for their advantage, then bailed out the richest of them, who now run the coups and the foundations. Bannon seems to be doing some battle on that front, but everyone loves the money machine of fiat currency ... we got the debt, they got trillions. ...

Kill DeepState this term, do the monetary "refinancing" next term. Easy Peasy.
