2) This theory is actually very credible, but not for the reasons they say. Early in the administration, if you'll recall, the press told us that Trump had seriously beaten or maybe even murdered Melania and that is why she was in the hospital for so long. Since the press doesn't lie, the body-double story is quite reasonable. It isn't because she doesn't like Trump, it's because she's been beaten into a vegetative state by OrangeManBad and the body double is the only choice now. I don't know why they're obfuscating on the core point when they so loudly assured us that Trump was a wife-beater.

I can only credit the last one as an actual "conspiracy", carried out by a foreign power (The Brits) in order to influence the US.
The Federal Reserve system, for all its many faults, was created by a bill passed in Congress and signed by President Wilson, so if that is a conspiracy, so is every other law ever passed. That doesn't mean I like it, but they did it right out in the open.
Same thing can be said about Ft. Sumter - the Fed. presence there was a deliberate and open provocation intended to bait the South Carolinians into firing the first shot of the war. They didn't have the self control required to resist taking the bait, and no one has ever denied that they fired first. Again, this was no "conspiracy" because everyone at the time, and ever since, knew exactly what the game was. A trap was set for them, and they saw it and walked right in, saying "screw it we're a gonna do it anyways."

This is something else I have thought about in the age of Trump. Many presidents and spouses have the same protection and we always hear stories about them managing the president (thinking the story about the beginning of the day on 9/11 here.)
Then I think about Trump jumping out of the car and running over to shake the hands of firefighters. He probably gives the SS kittens on a fairly regular basis. And I am ok with that.

Her ideology is being propped up by a media that largely comes from the same circles (definitely the same kinds of circles) that AOC comes from. Whether that actually plays across a large enough swath of the country to move the entire Democratic Party appreciably in that direction is another question.
If Biden wins the nomination (which he will), then I'm going to argue that no, AOC's ideology isn't necessarily the future of the party. Maybe in a "eventually in a generation or two", but not in any practical middle term sense.

I was trying to think of something analogous, and I thought of an event in Rome after the fall of the Empire, during the 6th century Gothic Wars. The City was still a Big Deal up until then - but one of the campaigning armies (it kept changing sides) cut all of the Aqueducts to drive their enemies out. Rome went from being a city of over a million to a city of only 25,000, and didn't fully recover for over 1,000 years.
That is the level of destruction about to be unleashed on Caracas, over the next few months.

Here, I disagree with you. I made a similar point on a prior thread. I fear the Biden nom because he will appeal the suburban liberal set who will vote for him because they think he's not a communist. He might not be. But he will be in held in thrall by his party. If he wins, he's an empty suit who does what the party wants. It will be a statement on the party's willingness to pick a milquetoast candidate to front their real motives, not a statement on their motives.

The exact definition isn't given, but at the same time those words do have legal meaning and significance. And that significance is not so broad that "said things I don't like" is included. A sign of how bad things are - I think all US airlines have now halted any flights to Venezuela. Spanish Airline pilots in recent days have petitioned the Spanish Govm't, begging them not to allow any flights from Spain to go there anymore. This was after a Spanish flight crew was held at knifepoint for ransom out at the airport, and not allowed to leave until someone had paid up.
