Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Jason Chafetz: Breakfast Club Evita's Story About Why Her Boyfriend Got A Government Email Address Doesn't Add Up; Should Be Referred to Ethics Committee for InvestigationAlexandria Donkey-Chompers, lying?! After she was so honest and candid about her Green New Deal talking points? And now someone says she's lying?! I shan't believe it. No, I simply shannot. But Jason Chaffetz, former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Ocasio-Cortez' claims don't stack up. "It's totally naïve and inappropriate -- you wouldn’t allow it in most companies, let alone the House of Representatives. There should be real consequences," Chaffetz told Fox News. So: Why was he really given a password? What was the actual plan here? Luke Thompson isn't buying Donkey-Chompers' claim that her boyfriend was merely given an email address so he could look at her calendar.
It's a progressive civil war. A hot-under-the-collar Mayor Bill de Blasio tore into Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday as he blistered both the online giant and local politicians who opposed bringing it to Queens.A radio host played a clip of Donkey-Chompers crowing about getting the Amazon deal cancelled, and DeBlasio ripped into her: "I came up watching the mistakes of progressives of the past, unfortunately what happened in this city when it almost went to bankruptcy in the 1970s," said a boiling de Blasio. "I saw all the times progressives did not show people effective governance and all the times progressives made the kinds of mistakes that alienated working people."Below, even the Champagne Socialists are calling Alexandria Donkey-Chompers a straight-up idiot and financial illiterate. Why is this different? It's exactly the bull they've been selling their constituents. So- what. Now that one of their cult members acts out what they preached they're outraged? You have paid no attention to the arguments made by many on the LEFT that the great economic advantages in having that headquarters in Queens utterly SWAMPS the temporary INCENTIVES to have Amazon move there. More revenues for all supporting businesses nearby. Higher property values leading to higher property tax revenues. Infrastructure improvements that Amazon contractually promised it would pay for. This isn't a stadium that sits idly for most of the year, employing only a few, and most of them millionaires. Amazon is a thriving business that would have added to NYC's economy to the benefit of tens of thousands of people. Welfare.....SNORT Posted by: Anna Keppa at February 15, 2019 06:25 PM (ooMrJ) 178

Not sure. "I came up watching the mistakes of progressives of the past, unfortunately what happened in this city when it almost went to bankruptcy in the 1970s," said a boiling de Blasio. "I saw all the times progressives did not show people effective governance and all the times progressives made the kinds of mistakes that alienated working people."
No effective governance, like a typhus outbreak in Los Angeles, CA? While OAC's reasoning isn't the same as mine, there is actually no reason to give a company like Amazon a $3billion tax break to move to New York City. While certain people (looking at you, de Commie-o) would skim their vig, I doubt that the residents of NYC were going to reap $3billon worth of services because Bezos decided to put a 2nd HQ there. "To be honest, I don't know what that means,"
As someone who knows that system it means they are either lying, know-nothings, or both The House has used an Exchange-based email system since the late 90's. All the way back to Exchange '98. I built that one. Not Gmail. Doesn't talk to Gmail period. The calendar excuse doesn't pass muster. There are a dozen different ways to get a schedule to a spouse without issuing an official account. He's staff, period. The only way to get someone into that system is if they're staff. Period. As I said earlier today anything sent/received from a .GOV email address is fair game for Freedom of Information requests. A hundred real journalists shouldve already filed FOIA requests in the past 6 hours for everything ever sent or received from that mailbox. I'm thinking about what to do. I'll take all of your suggestions to heart. Posted by: ace Well, the 501(c)(3) is a no-go, there's too much partisan politics here. Could be a 527 or a (c)(4), but it's hard to see how a website with a single owner could be said to be a non-profit without a whole lot of auditing problems at a minimum. (c)(7) wouldn't work, since you are getting paid, unless you could be the executive director and a board could pay you a salary. All in all, there's no good way to structure as a non-profit, but AOSHQ, LLC as an entity can always accept income in the form of memberships and fees. As a small business, you can just run it as a pass-through (which is what you're doing, I suspect), but that doesn't get you the Amazon percentage. That's why Amazon restructured things that way. Explain again why we listen to anyone who proclaims themselves to be a socialist? I mean, shouldn't the very definition of idiot be socialist?
Posted by: Inspector Kemp at February 15, 2019 06:54 PM (AJj50) ========= I am at a complete loss as to why anyone treats a socialist any better than a nazi. The only real difference is we don't have film of the allies rescuing dying people from a gulag somewhere. Posted by: jc at February 15, 2019 07:15 PM (PuMKG) 357
Lurker chiming in to say that I do $hundreds a month through the Amazon link, AND I'd be happy to subscribe at $5-10 a month.

Plus, of course, whatever exorbitant New York State and New York City taxes they pay after the tax exemption runs out.
Posted by: Rodrigo Borgia at February 15, 2019 07:07 PM (0OWcv) Plus whatever kickbacks the politicians were going to get for the families etc. Posted by: I like cookies at February 15, 2019 07:20 PM (xxAFD) 359
Hell at least Lenin and Stalin agreed that some few million eggs needed to be broken to make the Great Socialist Omelette, they just differed in who needed to be murdered and when. AOC and her millenial "Democratic Socialists" literally believe in Unicorns, Rainbows, and candy falling from the clouds.

Democrats got 99 problems and AOC is just one of 'em.

"Bill DeBlasio blasts the stone cold stupid socialist wundergirl for costing 25,000 working class people jobs."
Most illegal aliens cost a working class or lower person a job, too, and they both claim to want them by the millions. I wonder if they really care one way or the other at all. Maybe they're all like Obama, and they just glom onto every dick move they can find. Posted by: Mitch McSoze at February 15, 2019 11:31 PM (hbrUW) 362
All this time I thought her equinaoralness was the final coming of Jesus, but then it's revealed that she's a cisnormative tool of the patriarchy!!!!

I would totally buy stuff through an amazon affiliate link. I figured that was already what it was!
As for AOC: people like that don't believe marriage means anything, and with her brainpower, she probably literally doesn't understand there is any difference between someone's wife having access and her random boyfriend having access. This happened once before in American History, as Picketts charge broke down a single surviving democrat confederate reached the stone wall and a Union republican reached out and helped him over the wall stating "Come on over here, you in bad company over there."Deblasio, your in bad company over there.

I am dubious about the utility of the MLB CBA in advancing the cause of workplace independence, and
also about the material contributions being made by A.O. Spades, H.Q., esq., to the future election of President AOC. She's smarter than you Mr. S, plus way out in front of your campaign, and overwhelmingly likely to outlive you. Posted by: Jorge Fucking Will at February 16, 2019 01:58 PM (x+yK4) 366
Maybe AOC's "boyfriend" got blotto drunk and married her?
