Cuck Senator Richard Burr: The Senate Intelligence Committee Has Not Found Anything Suggesting any Collusion by Trump with Russia

And this guy has always been kind of pushing for this investigation and also, noticeably, not taking any interest whatsoever in the revelations of crimes committed by FBI and DOJ officials.

Yet he says there's nothing to this Fusion Fantasia.

After more than two years of investigation, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has not found evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, the committee’s Republican chairman said in interview.

"If we write a report based upon the facts that we have, then we don’t have anything that would suggest there was collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia," North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr told CBS News.

"If I can finish tomorrow, I would finish tomorrow," said Burr, adding, "We know we’re getting to the bottom of the barrel because there’re not new questions that we’re searching for answers to."

The Senate panel has conducted more than 200 witness interviews and reviewed hundreds of thousands of documents as part of an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

...

Burr has not been marred by the same sniping from Democrats [that Devin Nunes faced]. He and Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, the vice chairman of the committee, have largely operated in sync during the Senate probe. Burr noted in his CBS interview that he and Warner agreed early on that they would only take major investigative steps, subpoenas or witness interviews, only if both of them approved.

As I said, he acted like Mark Warner's prison bitch doing everything Mark Warner told him to do, but now even this sad cuck says it was all a snipe hunt all along.

They're continually violating their own principles, methods, and procedure, even to the point of actually breaking the law in an attempt to bust the president of the United States for something everyone in the damned world knows he didn't do.

And they're doing it not because they can get him, but because this terrifies anyone from supporting publicly assisting, donating to, or helping Trump or anyone like him ever again. This is about making sure Trump never happens again or you'll get it from the Deep State.

The disruption of the ascendant political party in a major swing state might do it. Not sure if they're connected, but my tinfoil hat tells me it's possible.

Impeachment is a political tool.

They could use him pulling out of the Iran agreement.

They could use him pulling out of the Paris Accords.

They could use him firing Comey.

They could use him having a spray tan.

Since Congress determines what is a high crime and misdemeanor, it's up to them to do what they want.

The question really is, is there actual political will to carry it through and preserve the party that does it?

101 55 It's almost like the Mueller investigation is going to exonerate Trump.

If only Trump had seen this coming when he spent the last two years saying he wanted Mueller to finish, cooperated fully and did nothing to obstruct the investigation.

I figured Trump's been in the public eye long enough, and in the crosshairs of enough adversaries, that if there were something truly bad on him it'd have come out long ago.

True also of Hillary, and of course it DID come out, fitfully, only to be smothered aggressively by the press.

As I said in 2016, are you going to vote for the loudmouth or the felon? Those are your choices.

So far the loudmouth has done a better job than any President since Reagan. He represents a reversion to the mean, and the screeching from the Democrats indicates just how far left they've shifted. Hell, it wasn't a shift, it was a parachute drop.

Prior to that, Leshchenko spent 2012 as a "fellow" at the John Smith Trust in Britain (funded by the Foreign Office) and 2013-14 as a "fellow" at the National Endowment for Democracy (funded by Congress, w a bunch of NT's on the board.) I agree with the general view that the House voting to impeach would be politically suicidal, but they aren't behaving rationally and so anything is possible.

Exactly. They never even explained that if there was collusion--how did it transpire? Did money change hands? Were there codes to all the voting machines in all 50 states that were revealed and then manipulated? And how did Trump--a private citizen in 2015/16--who controlled no government agency or apparatus or spy agency -- put the deal together with a state like Russia?

He's either clean or very careful and picked his counterparties carefully. If the guy you're doing a dirty deal with has a lot to lose, he will never rat you out.

I don't know. It seems likely that he has some shady actions in his past, especially considering what a cesspool of corruption NY is. Regardless, everything points to "clean as a whistle" for at least the last decade, and nothing before that could even loosely be in scope for anything.

If Bill Clinton had Oval Office threesomes, not even I would hold that against him. My problem is that he perjured himself and threw the country into insanity just to save his own ass. And, of course, that he is a certain rapist.

The fact no one accused Trump of that, despite him going backstage at Miss America, practically makes him Gandhi against the likes of Weinstein and Singer.

313 Remember the founding purpose of the SSCI and HPSCI - oversight *of the intel community*. Church Commission. Blah blah blah.

And here we have - obviously, and undeniably - the gravest criminal violations AND constitution-threatening abuses by the intel community in its history. And the SSCI is looking at the Lyndon Larouche-level idiocy of "collusion".

If the DOJ, and/or the SSCI, don't act on these abuses, all hyperbole about acid being poured on the foundations of the constitutional system, and even the basic civic contract in America, will be absolutely appropriate.

316 That whole committee is a corrupt. Warner was trying to get an off the record meeting with Steele. Wolfe released classified data and the only thing he was charged with was lying to the FBI (simply because Wolfe's lawyers threatened to call members of the committee before the court to testify). This was likely because he released it under their direction. I used to think Cotton was the only one on that committee you might be able to trust. I'm not so sure. We, obviously, can't trust Rubio.

Burr is pushing this now because he wants the whole issue to disappear. The longer it festers, the more likely the committee will be exposed as a contributor to the false narrative. Keep in mind they had the unredacted Class 1 FISA application this whole time. Corrupt assholes, the lot of them.

One of the infuriating habits of Leftoids is to cite investigations of Trump as evidence of guilt, rather than what they actually are, the result of a criminal and out of control Federal agency attacking political enemies.

And convictions of one-time Trump
associates for trumped-up process crimes cited as evidence of Russian collusion, when the court documents never mention it.

An alien parasitic class is sucking blood out of the nation, and millions of leftist zombies are virtue-signaling by supporting their blood-sucking. It's kind of horrifying.

I have zero doubt that Trump bent if not broke laws throughout his career. He's a NYC commercial real estate developer, they all break rules.

But they usually break rules by paying off politicians and bureaucrats who want those issues talked less than anyone on the planet. And Trump is rich enough to have people like Michael Cohen make the problems go away.

Dig long and hard enough and they'd find something. They would find it on just about everyone.

But the idea that Trump colluded with Putin to win the election sounds as dumb today as they day started floating this crap.

I'd want a lot of men around me, building shit each and every day. Getting stuff done. Not looking at a sheet of paper.'

516 I've been thinking about doing some occasional product reviews for the GT. Probably short ammo reviews to start. What do you think?

YES!!!

But really, Weasel, that is like asking a roaming pack of dogs if they want pork chops off the grill.

519 Jesus why do you guys keep posting crap like this ? It is almost like you expect the repubs to do something about all this abuse of power ! Clinton and Obama did what they did because they KNEW ...KNEW they would get away with it . Holder,Lynch,Learner,Clapper,Brennen,Rice,Powers KNEW they would get away with it !!! The repubs were only there to make sure it would happen .Stop expecting the repubs to stand up for you , for our rights , our laws , for our country, they won't .

520 Read the CBS article. Classic NYT style rambling all over, dropping innuendos implying we have got him now, and then after thousands of words they squeeze out the big turd... nah, we got nuthin, technically, but you never know... oh, and Warner refused to be interviewed, which could be a sign of partisan disagreement (yay), which could mean we in the media could keep this going!!

I was going to say this is burying the lede, but it is really more like slowly torturing it to death on an anthill.
