Richard Burr told CBS News. "If I can finish tomorrow, I would finish tomorrow," said Burr, adding, "We know we’re getting to the bottom of the barrel because there’re not new questions that we’re searching for answers to." The Senate panel has conducted more than 200 witness interviews and reviewed hundreds of thousands of documents as part of an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. ... Burr has not been marred by the same sniping from Democrats [that Devin Nunes faced]. He and Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, the vice chairman of the committee, have largely operated in sync during the Senate probe. Burr noted in his CBS interview that he and Warner agreed early on that they would only take major investigative steps, subpoenas or witness interviews, only if both of them approved.As I said, he acted like Mark Warner's prison bitch doing everything Mark Warner told him to do, but now even this sad cuck says it was all a snipe hunt all along.

I figured Trump's been in the public eye long enough, and in the crosshairs of enough adversaries, that if there were something truly bad on him it'd have come out long ago.

I think that's all the Meuller team has been doing the last few months. They were stated as being done and shutting down in December, but have been still active ever since. I think they are working on SOMETHING that can at least at first glance plausibly be used for grounds for impeachment, no matter how flimsy, ridiculous, or without merit. Did anyone else watch the news frantically during the Obama years, especially 2016, and then ease off after Trump got elected? I did that. I was a nervous wreck, especially as 2016 drew nigh, and after Trump won I heaved a huge sigh of relief and took the news feed out of my vein.

When I was stationed in the Philippines there was a scandal and investigation into the lottery there (if I remember correctly what I read/saw on local media). The government official investigating the issue won the lottery and declared that it wasn't "fixed" in any sense and of course he wasn't giving the money back and anyone who said he should would get sued for defamation of character, which is *weird* in the PI.

The real trick is balancing weight, grip circumference and recoil management.
The FNX does it the best, though it's honking huge (lightweight though, feels like a toy). The XD feels the same size as my XD9, which must be some kind of witchcraft.

The new mfg SIG 365 have not been reporting broken strikers. Still getting drag marks on the primer but they seem to have beefed up the striker itself.

I'd contact the seller and see. Most of the reputable sits also offer an inspection period. If it's not a new production run, refuse the shipment and send it back.

The question is: why?
He didn't have to do that. He was legally in the clear, and the courts would certainly have backed him in any challenge over the issue.
I think he did it because he l-o-v-e-d having a big fat distraction that didn't matter at all, and made the opposition seem crazy.

I read a post this week on the Sig Forum, where the merchant was very helpful, and got him the latest one (a Jan. '19) from the 12 or so they had in-stock, but the earliest one was a Dec. '18. They've been so hot that pretty much everything in the retail pipeline appears to be post-Oct. '18 now.
IIRC, BPS/Cabela's has them on sale for $499 right now, which seems to be commensurate with the on-line market.
