You guys probably know this, but Chief Refer Madness was not in fact a "Marine Recon Ranger" (a thing which does not exist) but instead was a refrigerator mechanic who went AWOL three times and served at all times in wartorn Nebraska.
Although there's a "NSFW" warning on the post, the only thing unsafe about it, if I remember right, is that he says "shit" a couple of times. Yeah, most of his active duty was at El Toro. His reserve time was in Nebraska and (if I'm remembering right) Kansas. I think someone said that the fridge repair school was in Kansas, but I have no direct knowledge of that.

Judges used to give young criminals the option of joining the service instead of doing time in those days.
I don't think any of the services will take a felon now, or even someone with other than the most minor of misdemeanors.

My dad was drafted, and just missed the Korean War, mostly because his basic was 18 weeks long! He was lucky, knew it, and never in a million years would have dreamed of claiming anything other than his easy service in Germany and France. He left as a PFC, and joked about that all the time.

A close family friend served in the mail room in country during the first Gulf War. He got Gulf War Syndrome worse than the guys out in the field. Possibly due to packages being exposed and poor ventilation in the mail rooms?
Poor man visibly shakes ALL THE TIME and has very reduced cognitive ability. He had to fight the VA for a decade to get recognized as permanently disabled (I think he finally got 90%, not sure). Even so, he won't try to tell you he was a Veteran unless asked directly.

White males are being subjected to these efforts on a continuing basis and that's not going to stop because of rhetorical or written responses.

They have a very hard time with separating the reality that happened to them in the past or just a few minutes ago with stuff they've heard recently or long ago or that they made up recently or long ago. They repeat stuff that's got them rewarded in some way so they keep repeating it.
And they will argue that it's all true because to them it is. It's the only thing they can grasp on to as there isn't anything else they're sure of.
It's sad but most all of them did it to themselves. They didn't know this would be the result. Maybe. But they knew it wasn't any good for anyone as they had plenty of examples around.
These are the people the left got released from our Health facilities. They need meds and structure in their lives cause they're never going to manage on their own. Not in any real or positive way. Yet they have to actually do damage to get put in a facility and most of those are more prison like than the old facilities used to be. Some of them actually ARE prisons and they're not equipped to handle these guys.
It's a f**king shame. This guy needs some help. That his "tribe" isn't doing it says a lot about them or him. Hard to tell which. He may not be a member of a tribe just a hanger on. And they let him out of pity but pity don't pay for the drugs or the food.

They had clocks (or timers) on them, so they may have been Vietnam TIMES brand ranges, I'm possibly sure. At least, a definitely maybe, if alternate histories are allowed.
