I think the French might be on the forefront. Last I heard, Americans are all in on facial recognition technology. From all I can tell, Americans don't give a damn about privacy. Which is odd, because our forefathers put privacy at the top, it was the right they cared for the most. Today privacy is a sentence, not a right.

91 On trip last fall we were driven in France briefly and I got a ticket which came email a couple weeks ago from one of these hidden cameras. I was doing 98 km in a 90 km zone. (That's like doing 60 mph in a 55mph zone for the metric challenged) Fine is 45 Euros if I pay quietly, quickly and don't make a fuss.

As a conservative I inherently don't like mobs. I get people are trying to make their voices heard and at times that means hit the streets. I am not big into conspiracies but it is possible that this was a false flag thing. It is also possible that some people just use a real protest to destroy. Either way, no real French citizen would attack his nation's monuments. Anyone who did that should be tossed out, end of story. The real story is people are sick of the oppressive state.

I luck out with that. The driveway runs east/west and with the leaves gone, it gets full sun starting about 10 AM in the winter. If I clear it off, the driveway is usually dry by 2 PM.

I thought the same thing. Still, it seems clear that the FBI and DOJ broke all sorts of rules to clear Hillary and set up a phony investigation of Trump. Not that it was in doubt but just more proof.

Epoch Times also somehow got a part of McCabe's testimony and they published a quote from McCabe yesterday where he says never in his career had he seen a letter written clearing the subject of an investigation before the investigation was complete as they did with Hillary.

Somebody on our side is leaking to Epoch Times.

Many moons ago, a young, rakish Count de Monet was quietly observing the antics of the drunken French Quarter crowd from a backwater eddy spot when suddenly they appeared, announced Mardi Gras was over, and to go home. 30 seconds later I was swept from my spot and out of the Quarter as if by a broom.

We rented a car in Paris and stayed with our exchange student's family in a Parisian suburb for five days, after which her father did a great job of making reservations for us throughout Normandy, including Bayeux, and the Loire valley that were spaced out well as far as driving went. It was the best vacation I've ever had.
