fact checking is dead. You know, and I should not be giving this away for free. But seriously how hard would it be to create an organization/news station that ACTUALLY fact checked? All you have to do is hire NO ONE from journalism school. I mean, just call balls and strikes for real and you would make a tonne. Why is this so difficult? Are there not people left who just want to make bank? Does it always have to be about a socialist revolution?
I should do this and stop giving this away. But come one, it is so bloody obvious. Posted by: Quint at January 12, 2019 06:12 AM (n13/j) 16

The relentless Trump bashing from the media since the day he was elected HAS WORKED. We need to fact this fact and deal with it. Jim Accosted has worked as a guy who never wants to be respected but jumped on a land mine. These people in the media, the msm, and education ARE making a difference, there relentless wailing has worked. We need to face up to that fact and deal with it.

The left controls social media, regular media, education, etc. When a nation spends all its time on media, an entity the left controls. how can it be strange that the left is wining hearts and minds?
My suggestion? Easy, give up fakebook, stop using twitter, and never use google. Come up with conservative alternatives. And then take over the school boards, stop the left wing take over which is really a fait accompli. Posted by: Quint at January 12, 2019 06:25 AM (n13/j) 30

I was never a fan of the National Front. I get that Marine is not as strident as her father. What would be cool is if someone in Europe supported individual rights, not the rights of the masses, not populism. If someone stood for the individual and his inalienable rights. I am sure I have heard these ideas somewhere.

At the live feed site, they have a brief summary of the protests over the last nine weeks. They say that last Saturday, "around 50,000 protesters demonstrated on the streets of various French cities. In Paris, French government spokesperson Benjamin Griveaux was evacuated from his offices as protesters seized an abandoned forklift and rammed it into the building's front entrance. In other demonstrations, protests were met with tear gas as rioters burned cars and set barricades on fire."

he Yellow Vest thing could spread as a
libertarian revolt against the statist left. People have claimed they vandalized the Arc de Triomphe. I do not know if this is true and I get you can't control everyone, particularly in a revolt. Anything's possible but I doubt the accuracy of that. Not to overly stereotype but the average French person on the street is proud of the country's history and would no sooner trash a monument of the country's best days than a Tea Party person would here. Rereading the HR-1 artical at PJ Media again, but its a big wish list to turn the nation into a Democrat voting block.
Mandatory Voter sign up - Like motor- voter registration all government program hand outs would be signed up Mandatory Felon voting - Virginia and Florida recently did this Force early voting Force same day registration/ voting - would make vote harvesting a country wide operation, expanding votes that need to be checked and extending vote tallies into weeks after. but Paris really is the most beautiful city in Europe imo.
You misspelled Venice. Posted by: grammie winger, church pirate at January 12, 2019 08:32 AM (lwiT4) I need to go back there. No doubt it is singular. But the one time I went there did not do it for me. I could explain why but don't want to trash the place. It is certainly beautiful, but overcrowded by tourists. Posted by: Lady in Black - Death to the Man Bun at January 12, 2019 08:26 AM (JoUsr) So many year ago me just out of school and GF home for Xmas break. Me living in Dallas, her Galveston. She comes to visit me (I have moved back to rents house to save money) and we have hot monkey sex love on fairly new carpet. I had scabbed on my knees still after New Years. Paris is like DC in that they control the high rises
and keep out crazy buildings. It has its faults for sure, but the lay out is better than most cities you will see in Europe. Here in central Wisconsin we have no snow. And that's alright but I have a feeling we're going to pay for this nice weather in February and March.

I still say the protesters need several of those big crew-served rubber band water balloon launchers to chuck the gas canisters back to their point of origin Posted by: AltonJackson at January 12, 2019 08:37 AM (KCxzN) 214
That article is based on this article in the Epoch Times. Somehow the author got ahold of Lisa Page's closed door testimony before Congress.

There are some blogs explaining the protest reasons, it is more than just gas prices, vehicle laws are getting way out of control.

I thought the same thing. Still, it seems clear that the FBI and DOJ broke all sorts of rules to clear Hillary and set up a phony investigation of Trump. Not that it was in doubt but just more proof. Epoch Times also somehow got a part of McCabe's testimony and they published a quote from McCabe yesterday where he says never in his career had he seen a letter written clearing the subject of an investigation before the investigation was complete as they did with Hillary. Somebody on our side is leaking to Epoch Times. Posted by: JackStraw at January 12, 2019 08:43 AM (/tuJf) 228
Willowed, I am sure, but Trump is hitting the NYT article on Twitter pretty hard.

Cheering for Tebow on sports boards is the closest I've ever come to trolling people. It wasn't trolling per se because I was far from alone; but the fuckheads who despised Tebow were absolutely insane with their hatred, much worse than that worthless pile of shit, Kaepernick, provoked. When Denver defeated the Stoolers in overtime in the playoffs I'm surprised some of those mentally ill cocksuckers didn't go Jonestown 2. God knows I did my part to drive them off the deep end.

Posted by: CrotchetyOldJarhead at January 12, 2019 08:40 AM (YndB3) Don't I know it. Many moons ago, a young, rakish Count de Monet was quietly observing the antics of the drunken French Quarter crowd from a backwater eddy spot when suddenly they appeared, announced Mardi Gras was over, and to go home. 30 seconds later I was swept from my spot and out of the Quarter as if by a broom. Jonah, that sounds like a good tour. We rented a car in Paris and stayed with our exchange student's family in a Parisian suburb for five days, after which her father did a great job of making reservations for us throughout Normandy, including Bayeux, and the Loire valley that were spaced out well as far as driving went. It was the best vacation I've ever had.
