I think they didn't learn anything in 2016 and are continuing to lose their grip on reality. They think there are enough people who buy into this kind of nonsense - not just the part about being dismissive, but stuff like Acosta pulling the Baghdad Bob down at the border.
Now, I know people who should be, ostensibly, intelligent people who don't really pay close attention to things outside of work and family, who do stupid shit like watch CNN and take it for face value. There's a new movie called "The Green Book" -- yet another one of those "look how evil and racist southern crackers were in the 1960s!" movies -- yawn.
But because it was anti-white, the movie was championed by leftists everywhere and as a result is won the top three Golden Globes a few days ago -- best film, best actor, etc.
That was then. A whole two days ago. And in the interim, the film has gone from must-see leftist frontrunner for the Oscars to a TOTALLY TABOO ENEMY#1 FILM THAT ALL GOOD LIBERALS MUST HATE AND BOYCOTT!!!!!
Say what?? How could that happen so fast?
Well, in the span of the last 48 hours, the film was beset by not one, not two, not three but FOUR different PC scandals:
1. Someone dug up a 1998 interview with Cameron Diaz in which she laughs about a prank by director Peter Farrelly in which he showed his dick to her (and others) as part of a comedy routine. As a result, Peter Farrelly is now the Rapist du Jour, and he and all his films are on the One-MInute-Hate list. Since he directed the Green Book, that film is now taboo to watch.
2. The real-life brother of the black character in the movie says that he never gave permission to the white producers to make his brother's life story, and as a result They Stole His Brother's Soul with their magic movie pictures. White man bad! Movie=taboo.
3. Black activist writes essay condemning the movie as a flaming example of "White Savior Complex" (in the movie, the white chauffeur saves the black musician from racist hillbillies), thus movie now taboo in yet a THIRD way.
4. But the icing on the cake, and the REAL issue, is that someone dug through the twitter feed of the film's screenwriter, and discovered that in 2015 he agreed with Trump that it was awful that Muslims celebrated the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11. Even though there are films of the celebrations (in Jersey City) from TV reports at the time, and even though there are police reports from that day proving that there were indeed public celebrations broken up by the cops, the Left is now screaming that the screenwriter parroted Trump's "racist debunked conspiracy theory.," and is thus a racist himself. A movie about racism was written by a racist!!! Boycott!!!!
All of this happened in the space of two day. Downfall.
But of course I';m glad, because the movie was a commie propaganda shit movie anyway.

I've been using the collapsing star analogy for a while now.
It's clear that the SJW red giant has already burned through all the easy hydrogen energy (white people, men), and must sustain itself on increasingly less fruitful sources of fuel. This enrages me. Here in Denver, take the same scenario with an illegal and a citizen. Assume a woman calls the cops on her man for domestic violence. The police will arrest because they follow the Duluth Method.
The citizen will be charged with felony domestic violence. It might not go anywhere, but the charge will be made.
The illegal will be charged with misdemeanor assault. Why? Because a felony charge would alert ICE.
Illegals are getting significantly *better* treatment than citizens because of sanctuary policies. It's an affront at every level.

well if she's not on oxygen now, that's a good sign. If she gets a respiratory infection, its a coin flip.
If she's able to walk independently, not on supplemental oxygen and doesn't get sick, she could go back to work until she sprouts another tumor and they have to take out more of her lungs. The best case scenario for her is that they have to whittle down her lungs over the year or so and she doesn't develop pneumonia. Eventually she'll be on a ventilator.
