This indictment was based on the Prevezon case that was brought years ago, long before the 2016 election. It has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. #66. When the FBI raided Chicago aldercrook Ed Burke's office the MFM claimed he was Trump's Chicago attorney. Ed Burke controlled all building permits in the city and if you wanted your permit approved easily you hired Burke's law firm. Burke is in trouble for shaking down companies to use his firm or else. The thing is, there's corruption, and then there's corruption. Hiring someone to work under the table to landscape for your business doesn't bother me. Cheating old ladies out of their life savings, does. Its a question of who your target is and what you're accomplishing. If you cut corners to avoid government interference and taxation, okay. Posted by: Calm Mentor at January 08, 2019 02:08 PM (ffYR/) Basically. But it wasn't Pfizer's idea -- they had a campus in Groton and were planing on expanding to PA or somewhere. The corrupt governor and a bunch of people in New London decided that they'd eminent domain a neighborhood in New London, raze it, and build out a huge mixed-use redevelopment project to try to lure Pfizer to New London. By the time the case got the supreme court, Pfizer had already built out their new campus in, IIRC, PA. I wonder if liberals and RINOs will ever learn the old "be careful what you wish for" lesson. RINOs wanted Trump to take out other conservatives in the primaries. Liberals wanted Trump to win the GOPe nomination as they were sure the bitter clinger flyover people would stay home rather than vote for that orange haired playboy and Hillary would be able to coast to victory.
The DEMs have demanded and gotten equal coverage for Nancy and Chuck Schemer to rebut Trumps address. What a score that is for us, versus having the polished TV commie spokespeople get the immediate following air time. I think and hope that by the time those droning amateurs are done, most people will have gotten bored and be streaming a movie and will miss the professional liars.
