Montage: Liberals Use George Bush's Funeral to, Get This, Attack Trump

Using Dead Republicans to attack living ones. What an utterly unexpected development!

Equally unexpected: Jake Tapper, the Man Who Makes Wives of Twitter-Based Conservative "Men," the former Salon "Reporter" and Handgun Control, Inc., spokesman, The Only Honest Man in American Media, makes an appearance.

It turns out that Jake Tapper thinks that the Dead Republican had virtues which he didn't appreciate at the time because he didn't know what the absence of them (Trump, that is) would look like.

How original!

If you can't watch the video, there are also printed quotes.

Now quick, Cucks, rush over to see if Jake Tapper's penis is not properly dressed in a fake conservative's mouth and, if not, rectify that situation immediately.

In other words we're just a bunch of trained circus animals jumping through hoops and performing for our media ringmasters.

44 OT, kinda: so that's what "vote harvesting" is. Basically just making it possible to vote without doing almost anything - you're automatically registered, you're automatically sent an absentee ballot, you don't even have to get it in by election day, and parties (well, so far, one party) spends zillions of $$$$ to go collect your absentee ballot, depending on your registration.

Without cycle/cycle turnout #s going back at least 10 years, I still don't know if this made the difference in CA House races. We'd have to see significant Dem increases in turnout.

Of course potential for fraud, already great in many states, is vastly increased with some of these changes.

Along with adoption of idiotic CA "jungle primary" systems by up to 4 more states, this sort of thing should ensure that within a few years there will be many more hopelessly permanently Dem states - at all levels - with a GOP about as relevant as that in CA.

The Bush family is/are the epitome of classical genteel aristocratic who view government service as an obligation; a civic duty to lead the affairs of this great nation as only our well educated elite are capable.

She's mightier than Thor, but looks like she couldn't run a quarter mile. So dumpy is a little bit of an exaggeration on my part. But you know they picked precisely because she was just a little soft and got the body positive/ not body positive vibe. Sort of cute-not hot. Kinda fit - not ripped or buff like an American Ninja female Constant. Kinda snotty- not quite mean girl. Rubs the noese of her plane like she a hirteen year old with her horsey. That's what I get from the trailer.

Am I the only one? LOL

My daughter and I were just talking about that this morning.

My mother died at 58, 3 days before Dad's 61st birthday. He died almost 17 years later.

However, we both think if Dad wasn't so young he would have gone much more quickly.

As it was, he did nothing about his slow-growing prostate cancer and wound up dying after it spread to his bones - terribly painful. And so unnecessary.

He definitely was completely lost without Mom; they were very much in love. Dad was a devout old-school Roman Catholic, so he never would have directly committed suicide. Maybe he subconsciously let the cancer go so he could join her as soon as he could.

Sad to contemplate but we think that might have been his mindset.

Yeah its not their most inspired casting. I can't work out what they are trying to make of her, is she supposed to be girly and cute or tough and gritty? Is she badass or sweet? Is she cute and sweet at first, then she comes back butch and mean? The trailers aren't very helpful for getting any sense of the movie at all. It feels more like a TV show to me than a movie.

With the cavets that tastes vary and people can like different things for different reasons:

I hated the way they treated the Joker/Batman relationship like a gay romance.
HATED it.
It kills all the menace of Joker when they do crap like that and it kills any lighthearted 'Caesar Romero' Joker possibilities as well.
The movie does a pretty good job showing the 'Lego Batman' as the clueless guy who thinks he's cool....but that irritated me too. Lego Batman in the Lego movie was kind of an idiot but he was actually Batman. He WAS cool and able.
Then you toss in the gender politics and I was just 'nope, I'm out'.

It had laughs (his rivalry with Superman) but there was corrosive venom under the humor and cutesy kids toys.

Does being informed about national issues help you in any way? Does it positively impact your life? Does knowing who's fucking whom in Hollywood (or the Newsroom) do anything useful.

318 ...Liberals Use George Bush's Funeral to Attack Trump

If libs are doing that I cannot imagine what socialist crypto-commie progtard UniParty scum are doing with it.

Actually, now that I think about it, the casket probably looks like what two girls did to one cup. And it's all Trump's fault!!11!

319 I think local news is useful. But nation and international news is...at best a forum for propaganda and ten minutes hate.

That, I guess, is a matter of taste. I consume no local news. Local newscasts are smarmy and they cover fires, weather, corrupt politicians, and fires. I like to pretend I don't live where I do so I remain wholly ignorant of it.

National and international is where you'll find me. Why? Hmmm. Why are we all at a site for political and cultural arguments?

Bigger stages make for bigger arguments. Free trade or protectionism? Well, what are our examples? Does the war coming up in Eurostan look like any past wars? Can we observe something of history and human nature?

None of this has any practical value for my personal life, but I enjoy learning many different perspectives on things past and present, and I am not alone here in that.

This is why I think that "just let the media go" is facile, puerile, and kinda dumb. Cut yourself off from outside knowledge? No.

320 I was just in my car listening to Sheryl Atkisson on Hannity's radio
show, talking about the Obama administration going after her.

She was also talking about the so-called "journalists" out-right lying about PDT.
==========================

When the press goes to bat for Sharyl Attkisson I'll take their independence lots more seriously.

Fair enough.

I like debate and political philosophy for it's own sake...and because I like guns and want to be able to keep and shoot them without having to go outlaw.

I find local news actually directly impacts me. But I can go weeks or months without knowing most national affairs. I'd rather focus on my local reps and hold their feet to the fire, where I and my filth cash can have an impact, rather than spreading it to Texas or New Jersey, etc.

Thanks man.

322 Emily Blunt! That's the one. She's pretty good. I'd watch her, even in a Marvel movie

325 280 Just let the media go.

The media. All media?

Say ace does a story about how the Hillary-funded Fusion GPS memo was used to get warrants on Trump associates.

Where did he get the information? Do you accept it or challenge it? How do you know how to evaluate what is being said around you?

Should one live in a news-free environment?

I do. Aos and a few other sites are my news. I manage OK. I'm just tired of all the shit. I don't need it I don't want it.

328 is everyone still arguing with the troll in the last thread?

It's like bear-baiting: probably wrong and totally pointless, but our tradition, dammit.

========

It shows they really aren't trolls. Lots of people here apparently enjoy having them around, hence they keep feeding them. There are tons of leftist or pseudo-conservative sites where people can get into fistfights with leftists in the comments if that's what they want. I never got why people are so fond of doing it here, as opposed to just waiting for the troll to starve and leave, or for TBH to come down.
