Guy Whines on Twitter That Chipolte Wouldn't Serve Him Until He Proved He Could Pay, Citing Previous Dine-and-Dash Incidents; Guy Claims It's "Racism;" Manager Fired;
But Previous Tweets By This Guy Brag About Dining and Dashing

Raaaaacism.

Except... this guy dines-and-dash so often he actually talks up his habitual theft of food on Twitter.

Chipotle says it may rehire the manager after evidence has been brought to its attention -- but note, it conducted absolutely zero investigation before firing this woman based on some rando's say-so.

Also note this biased New York Post headline:

Chipotle may rehire manager who refused serving black men

That suggests that she refused service because they were black, and not, as she says, and Mahud Ali's twitter timeline seems to confirm, that ordering food and then stiffing Chipotle for the check was a fun past-time for him.

Even Not Binary Ben has a problem with this:

So you can and will be fired by a company if a rando makes an evidence-free accusation about you on Twitter.

I'm sure David French will have an article about this sometime during the next decade.

A lady spilled coffee on her lap buying it in the drive-thru. IIRC, she got $3 million.

Also, McDonald's completely re-designed their hot cup with a liner and a different lid design. Cost them millions, and those cups cost them more than double the old ones.

Agreed. They also had a sweet hot sauce that was really good. I bought a bottle but that was a while back and I can't recall what it was called. That was a good place to try different sauces, they had a small sauce bar and they changed the sauces frequently.

PDT is known for his attention to detail of being clean. Go watch a YouTube video from a few years ago where they were upgrading the interior of the 757 he bought from Paul Allen, the one he flew around in during the 2016 election cycle.

The pilot who is overseeing the upgrade and mentions the details have to be perfect.

No, haven't been to Chicago in many years, but ate at Morton's and also at the Billy Goat. And Carson's for Ribs. Best of all, the Morton's visit was on business and someone else paid. And the guy who picked up the tab insisted on ordering more red wine.

Commercial coffee brewers are set at 185 - 195 degrees, and then the coffee drops about 2 degrees when it is poured and exposed to air. Over 200 degrees and the coffee tastes flat. Under 180 degrees and the full flavor of the coffee isn't realized.

Any hotter and the taste of the coffee is ruined.

I roasted coffee and installed hundreds of brewing systems in commercial accounts for about 15 years. What I found is that so much of what people think about coffee, producing it or brewing it, was just wrong.

Pro-tip #1: Never put your coffee beans in the refrigerator. Either keep it in an air-tight bag on a cool shelf, or if you aren't going to use in in a couple of weeks, freeze it.
The reefer coffee will absorb moisture and turn rancid.
