The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

"Having sustained catastrophic injuries on the battlefield, which included the loss of both my legs, I am acutely aware of the vital role dogs play in helping troops recover from war's physical and psychological to. The VA has not executed what we wanted as intent, which is to bring this to an end in its entirety, so we will keep up the pressure until these invasive, painful and deadly experiments on dogs stop completely."Rep. Brian Mast (R. Fla.)

Quote II

“America was founded as the shining city on the hill. United, we can keep it that way,”John Kasich

Quote III

“If we can't have free and open discussion on topics like these, we have no hope of combating tribalism and finding common ground.”UW-Seattle Professor Stuart Reges

Quote IV

“He essentially bioengineered an electorate that would be essentially with enough white voters and few enough voters of color to elect him. Joy Reid

Quote V

If Creepy Porn Lawyer needs a new gig. He can become a MDand go to the Netherlands, he may be able to get away with killing women.

The Hague (AFP) - Dutch authorities are prosecuting a doctor for euthanising an elderly woman with dementia in the first case of its kind since the practice was legalised in 2002, officials said Friday.

The female doctor, who was not named, allegedly put a sleeping drug into the 74-year-old woman's coffee and had to ask her family to hold her down when she began to struggle.

The Netherlands and neighbouring Belgium became the first countries in the world to legalise so-called mercy killing, but it can only be carried out by doctors and under very strict conditions.

Our Libertarian friends are bemoaning the fact that California prisoners are fighting the California Wildfires.

Contrary to popular belief, it is nothing new.

When it comes to California’s natural disasters—fires, earthquakes, floods—a surprising cohort of first responders have served on the front lines since World War II: prison inmates.

While the idea of using prisoners for back-breaking, low-cost labor on road crews harks back to the late 19th century, the state of California first tapped inmates to fight brush and forest fires in 1942. After military conscription and war industries rapidly emptied the state’s forestry camps of able-bodied men serving in the New Deal’s Civilian Conservation Corps, the state forestry found itself in a manpower crunch. Worse, fire marshals predicted that bombing and ‘sabotage’ by Japanese Americans increased the risk of fires and could threaten crucial watersheds and food production in the area of various Army installations and ship-building plants.

As they say art is in the eye of the beholder. Will AI be able to create true art?

As AI becomes an unstoppable force, it raises some difficult questions about the future role of humans in an increasingly automated world. Initial studies are showing that we can add the most value by focusing on four key areas: critical thinking, problem solving, managing human interactions, and above all else, expressing creativity. In short, our future role involves embracing these last bastions of human exclusivity and becoming more “human.”

But just last month, AI-generated art arrived on the world auction stage under the auspices of Christie’s, proving that artificial intelligence can not only be creative but also produce world class works of art—another profound AI milestone blurring the line between human and machine.

"Why can't Allyson get ahead?"

Allyson Costello stared at the two lines on her pregnancy test and knew — immediately and beyond a shadow of a doubt — that she would get an abortion. She was 21 years old. She was on the pill, taking it religiously every morning. And it had been only a few months since she’d received a Facebook message from Andy, the first boyfriend she’d ever had, back in middle school, but now virtually a stranger. She learned that he was currently living way out in the country somewhere in Kentucky, that it was beautiful there, but also lonely. She had just gone through a breakup herself and could relate to the loneliness. They started writing, then they started talking. Eventually, he asked if she would fly up from Florida to visit.

Fred Flintstone is oppressed by The Man.

The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that Flinstone (aka Swartz) “became unruly” after being issued a speeding citation. He was later released with a notice to appear in court.

The post jokes that the prehistoric Smart car was seized and is now part of the police fleet. “This is what Intelligence-Led Policing looked like in the stone age,” said the post, which included pictures of the vehicle and a barefoot driver dressed in Flintstones garb.

It's a good thing Mr. Flintstone never purchased Steppenwolf's 'For Ladies Only LP'. It featured the Dickmobile. Search "album jacket of Steppenwolf for ladies only"

So much for Common Sense gun control. F*ck You.

The piece of legislation is sponsored by New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone and has been co-sponsored by 16 other House Democrats. Officially known as H.R. 7115, the bill has been laughably misnamed as the “3D Firearms Prohibition Act” — laughable because the bill actually has virtually nothing whatsoever to do with 3D-printed firearms.

The stated purpose of the bill is “to prohibit the sale, acquisition, distribution in commerce, or import into the United States of certain firearm receiver castings or blanks, assault weapon parts kits, and machine gun parts kits and the marketing or advertising of such castings or blanks and kits on any medium of electronic communications, to require homemade firearms to have serial numbers, and for other purposes.”

Do you have an open calendar between December 14-17th? Do you have say $10,000 burning a hole in your pocket? Perhaps a trip to Sex Island is what you need.

The quintet of men — who include a hedge-funder and a nightclub owner, both based in New York — frequently host and attend sex parties around the world and decided to make it their mission to share their idea of fun with the masses.

The result was Sex Island — an all-inclusive sexual extravaganza that was so popular, it morphed from a one-off orgy vacation into a year-round sex tourism empire now hosting its second annual event.

Private parties run throughout the year, but Sex Island is designed for the everyman who can drop $6,000 on a “golden ticket” to a private island in the Caribbean with unlimited booze, food and women ready to satisfy them at any hour of the day.

The Law of Unintended Consequences. Or is it?

Senior male partners at law firms are refusing to mentor younger women because of fears that unjustified allegations will be made against them, the head of the profession claims.

There has been an unanticipated and unwanted backlash caused by the #MeToo movement, Christina Blacklaws, president of the Law Society, argued last week. Ms Blacklaws told a conference on gender diversity that senior men were reluctant to engage in formal mentoring schemes with younger female colleagues for fear they might leave themselves open to allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

When your own profession leads the charge of Guilty until proven innocent, you reap what you sow.

New York City restaurants are so much different than restaurants in my area. Cash is not accepted. Is that a problem?

I was at a health-food and coffee shop on East Houston, grabbing an $11 vegan sandwich for lunch, when I noticed the man next to me, who appeared to be homeless, trying to buy a cup of coffee. The entire exchange wasn’t going well: First, there was the absence of any traditional milk from the dairy-free café’s “vegan mylk” selection. The coffee’s price, $2.95 for a small, was also fairly steep. But just as it looked like the situation was going to resolve itself, a final, insurmountable hurdle arrived: As the would-be customer started to pay with a stack of coins and notes in his hand, an employee was forced to tell him that cash wasn’t accepted at the café. Eventually, he gave the coffee to the man, only after the three of us stared at each other uncomfortably.

Until then, I had been aware of cash-free restaurants and cafés, but had never fully grasped the effects of their growing numbers.

It is quite fortunate that he didn't win the posthumous Genius Award

An intoxicated off-duty police officer in Ohio was arrested in an alleged burglary after mistakenly entering a home he thought was his, police said.

Torrence Edward Laprath, 33, was arrested early Sunday after trying to enter a single-family home in the 4700 block of Strathaven Drive in Dayton, according to an incident report obtained by The Post.

Laprath, who was allegedly inebriated at the time, mistook the residence for his own, a police official told the Dayton Daily News.

Tonight I'm watching the Ohio/Buffalo game on ESPN2 (the Bobcats are winning by a rather large margin). How can I say this politely. Based on the commercials being shown, 50% of the country is gay. I suspect the actual percentage is much lower.

Also, the Allstate commercial where the actor talks about how many "Storm Of The Century's" we've had recently. Dumb, really dumb.

So today I was in my local, totally hipster grocery store, to purchase a Starbucks gift card. The young hipster barista dude with man-bun, showed me the cards. These are all Christmas ones, I said, as I wanted a plain card. So hipster found one for me, rang it up, and said loudly, Merry Christmas. I said--isn't it kinda early for Merry Christmas? Hipster said: it's my right to say it, and thank God we can say it again!

I told him I wanted to marry him, and we did a high-five. My head is still spinning.

The legal tender thing is complicated. It's for "all debts" and the courts have interpreted that to mean it applies on when you are owed money.

For example, if you go to restaurant and you pay *after you eat* then that's a debt. Cash must be accepted. Now, if it's pay before you eat, then they can refuse cash.

I thought you were joking with that painting and had to look it up.

Holy shit! That was real! That has to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen.

As to the AI paintings - they're at least as good as the human paintings. No question. But that's because modern painting is mostly dogshit that doesn't really require any great skill. Stuff like Basquiat used to do is nothing but the art equivalent of comic book movies for adults. Paintings that used to only be done by children on house walls right before their parents screamed and beat the crap out of them.

And stuff like Mondrian did ... yeah, it's nice to look at, but if anyone likes it it's easy to make one of your own. The paintings, themselves, aren't really worth anything because they're easy for anyone to reproduce.

99 I read the article about Allyson...

First take-away: I hope her son never reads that she almost aborted him and that RS's take is HE is the cause of his mom not getting ahead.

Second take-away: when she had childcare from her stepmother and HAD to work 20 hours a week to qualify for child care subsidies, why didn't she look for other jobs besides Starbucks when the Starbucks job couldn't offer her the hours she needed? OR, why not start babysitting with a family who were cool with little Atlas being there with his mom? OR why didn't she at least explore other jobs that she could do from home because such jobs are out there?

Welp, making myself a steak again. I love it with garlic. Let me share with you my recipe for garlic steak:

- 1 steak
- bit of salt
- bit of butter
- 10 pounds garlic powder
- 20 pounds garlic salt
- 30 pounds minced garlic

Place everything into your nearest giant vat. Make extra-chunky garlic sauce by mixing salt, butter and garlic products above. Heat it up and throw steak inside. Once steak has heated up to your liking in the garlic mixture, pick it up and start chomping on it. Eat garlic mixture as well, it makes a delicious side dish.

Dinner yum!

So you order the sammich, and eat it. Now you have a debt.

I didn't read to far into that article, but it sounds like all the "no cash" places described were trendoid Millennial joints I wouldn't be caught dead in, anyway.

How to deal with it? Look up on line what your order will cost, tax included, to the nearest cent. Fill a sack with small change to that exact amount. Go order your meal and eat it. When it comes time to pay, hand the sack to the waiter.

There is also a big legal difference between "coin" and paper money, ala FRNs. It's flat illegal to use anything other than official minted coins.

165 Way back when, being a fat man was considered a sign of great success and affluence.

'Cause a poor man couldn't afford to buy and eat that much food, and also had to work many times harder for his calories, thus burning them off.

It's not that much different today, it's just that many of the chicks just covet the fit n' ripped guy, cause it takes a fat wallet to cover the gym time, trainer, targeted diet, and the many hours of non-work time for all the working out.

203 Why can't Allyson get a brain?

This article, like every other one on the same topic, annoyed me. (bangs head on wall) They never address the responsibilities of the idiot spreading his seed. That's touched on briefly and peripherally, if at all.

First of all, what father would ignore his child and not help support it? Apparently he didn't marry her. He enticed her to his state away from her decent set-up. All for love, eh Allyson? I bet he had dreamy eyes!

House and cars in his name, after they had the kid he got sick of her and acted like a jerk so she'd leave and not bother him any more, like a dummy she obliged. But she's upset the govt. won't give her enough help. Uncle Sam is being pursued for benefits as if the govt. is the deadbeat dad.

I don't see how her trials and tribulations now are easier than taking the father to court to pay up. That was not an option she was willing to pursue. I wonder how many other rejected love children he has living in poverty?

No matter how good his mother is to him, and she apparently is a very good one, the kid is going to realize someday that daddy didn't want him. Then society may just find out how badly that warped him. Govt. checks don't replace a father.

Stupid, stupid article to blame Trump.

There is a restaurant here in the NW ATL suburbs that does fried catfish, chicken and sides that are so good that it is only open for lunch from 11-3 on Fridays and Saturdays. I know the owner, and he lives large on only working about 20 hours/week, total.

The sugar sort of counteracts the the tang/acidity of the tomatoes and tomato juice. So the exact amount may vary with that exact tomato content. My mother has always done that to taste, and that's what I was trying last night.

She was always the final arbiter on the sugar as well as the salt/pepper content. I like it a little saltier, and I think I like things a little saltier than Miley. You can always add salt and even sugar later in the bowl.

Counterfeiting is a fair point, but I am not unsavory and I use cash for *everything* except gas (since the death of pay-after-you-pump, getting a full tank is a major PITA without using plastic). For me, it is a privacy thing. If I need to make a major purchase like an appliance, I either accumulate the money over time or I go to the bank and take it out.

I do have my routine bills (rent, internet, etc.) that *already* have a paper trail pay electronically. For everything that doesn't have a built-in paper trail, I'm cash-only.

I started to. Then it turned into a "America actually sucks despite appearances" article that wanted to force-feed me stats without context, so I said f*ck it.

My grandmother bought sacks of dry beans and rice, powdered milk, flour, raised chickens and snapped their necks for supper.

My grandfather slid half a mile down into a coal seam for 12 hours at a time. When he came home, he washed off in water from the hand pump well. He owned two pair of shoes, one for church, one for everything else.

But poor Allyson can't afford childcare to go make pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks, so she is having to forego an unlimited data plan on her iPhone 8 in order to chain smoke her organic cigarettes and get her ink that allows her express herself.

Once I was a receptionist and it was the sort of place where the clientele needed to use the pay phone for rides and never had sufficient change for the 35 cent call.

I would tape two quarters to the underside of my desk once a month, and would peel them off for the first person who asked for change or the use of my phone to call for a ride, give it to them, and tell them they had to pay me back because I only gave out fifty cents once a month, and someone else would be asking me too, later. If I didn't get the quarters back I would tell the next person asking that I already gave out the quarters for the month and I was sorry.

It was that sort of place.

Some of them actually paid me back, too. I had hope for those.

369 Ol' Bacchus looks a bit thinner than me. Hmmmm.

Oh and you all realize why the push for AI and the self driving vehicles and trucks and such is being funded by and done by rich people?

There's a reason for that.

I know this is all tin foil hattery but take a look around. They have striven and in some places succeeded in seeding areas of peace and prosperity with individuals who are blood thirsty and see nothing bad about dying for their God and who also see the gov't they currently live under as being infidel and undesirable by their God Allah. OR they're doing their best to inundate other areas (the US) with those who are illiterate and generally unfit for any real work that can be productive except for manual labor and who's ideas about what a good government is has lead their own countries to become dictatorships and shi!holes.

Now all that's needed is sufficient spark of the correct type and whoopy we have a world war but one that's fought at a local level with out the advantages of cooperation between nations.

I think the target for the US was a reduction to 60Meg from our current 330meg.

What with the diseases being carried north and the clarion call that will occur if fighting breaks out, that is achievable. That along with the break down in transport and food production will surely see a period of only 2-7 years to reduce the entire world's population to a 'reasonable' level and secure the elites ability to still live in the manner in which they are accustomed.

If it seems a bit Infowars then ask yourself why the push for all the ai and self driving vehicles. There's really no call for them except that which is being generated just by them being researched. There's always folks who want the latest thing regardless of what it is.

Look at it from MY POV and it suddenly makes a bit more sense.

Especially if you realize that the elites could GAF about other people and don't really care too much about the rest of the world except as pertains to keeping them in control and living well. AI will do that for them.

374 I was out with a group of folks on a Meetup thing, a group about exploring what my city has to offer. We went to a small bar that had a live jazz trio.

In the midst of it all, one of the attendees told the host that he was "social progressive," and he even explained that he was a "libtard."

To me, that's like saying "I have irreversible brain damage, and I am damned proud of it."

And it struck me then. He was free to confess this because he knew his side had won.

Think about it. How many people have suffered because they have liberal opinions? A handful, perhaps--mostly because they did other things, like throw drinks at people or shoot Trump voters.

But the vast majority are perfectly fine about confessing how their brains are damaged. And they are praised for the finesse of their damage.

Trump voters, on the other hand, have to be very careful, lest they be fired and made unemployable, ostracized, or murdered.

And Trump voters are well aware that they will get no sympathy for their reversals, while libtards will be lionized back into full employment.

I honestly thought I couldn't get more depressed. I am shaking my head over my naiveté.

Real silver dollars, as opposed to Eisenhower or Susan B. Anthony dollars? That's cool.

Some years ago I bought an old $5 gold coin that was worn and circulated, just so I could carry it around in my pocket (as opposed to uncirculated ones, which I put in my safe). I eventually stopped carrying it around, but I still have it.

399 Guess maybe Allyson should've reconsidered the break up with Andy.

Odds it was instigated by her? about 60-80%. Women doing the breakup.

They've been brainwashed into believing it's their right to have a certain life style and that if they don't it's some man's fault or society or something. So they feel imprisoned in a lifestyle they're not mentally or emotionally equipped to deal with. But they don't have the mental abilities or other talent to find work that will pay more than the minimum wage.

Allyson, honey, it's the left and the Democrats who've made you ill equipped for the life they claim you're entitled to.

Welcome to the world of most men for the last tens of thousands of years. Working in the fields, an object owned by someone else, working to provide for a family that came about partly due to boredom and in the belief and practice that children can be an asset. (now of course they can't be made to work so they imprison them too.)

And after working 40 or 50 years of back breaking manual labor one day you keel over and it's all finished.

Just wanted to point out that to those of use who use real computers to view the HQ, it is not intuitively obvious that a link is not going to render right when viewed on a 'phone. And I don't think all phones work the same way in that respect.

But, really, since the Internet long predated the smart phone, it is the responsibility of smart phone manufacturers to make the product fit the Internet. We should not have to make the Internet fit anybody's phone. Surely the phone makers could write software that would make the phone's screen act as a "window" onto an Internet page, and you could use your thumbs on the touch screen to move the page past the window.

Up until the pill came along, people understood that having sex made babies, and so you didn't do that until you were married so said baby would have someone to care for him or her and someone to earn the paycheck.

People today seem to think that babies are a punishment that comes along sometimes to people who aren't good at artificial birth control.

What a silly notion.

St. Paul says that they will know we are Christians by our love. I tend to believe that the leftists know us by our joy.

We don't have to lie to make our positions sound good to others.

We don't have to run around like a bunch of pinch-faced scolds every time somebody does something that we don't understand.

We don't have to live in ignorance or bigotry or try to fit everyone into a little box. We can actually speak to people and find out who they are as individuals, and value them for that.

Look at all the joy that comes from being who you really are instead of what the cool kids think you should be. Then let the leftists know that, and it will ruin their days.

You will never convince them with facts: they manufacturer their own "facts" when they need them. You will only show them that their miserable narrowminded lives are not the zenith of human achievement.

Smile at them.

It will drive them nuts, but it will also show them the error of their ways.

Naturally, it never occurred to her to give the kid up for adoption. It was either abortion or poverty. As if that were the only path she could take.

Were she to give the kid up for adoption, she could have kicked the creep to the curb and had some loving couple pay all of her pregnancy expenses, and been certain that she would not have to support the child with her paltry earnings.

But that would have meant she wasn't selfish, so I guess not an option.

What opened my eyes was the Snowden thing - and not to the surveillance stuff. I knew that was happening... he just provided a shitload of details about the day to day operating premises.

But, I know most people don't have any reason to think about this stuff, and didn't know it was going on, until he leaked all of it.

What Snowden opened my eyes to, is that nobody seems to care. They have no clue what's at stake.

"Oh, well I'm not up to anything. What do I care?"

People should care. Of course they're not looking at YOU. But what about the guy you vote for? What happens when they turn on him and roll out a deep state coup to thwart the will of those who elected him?

Even more importantly, what happens when an organization like JTRIG infiltrates your favorite blog, not just to watch, but to subtly influence your opinion with fake commenters?

No, they're not trying to bust you for the terrorism you're not doing... They're trying to shape and change us as people and societies, which is much more insidious, and nobody seems to care about it. It's weird.

549 re the fires...

i'm in SoCal, specifically The Valley, like totally, so it was the Woolsey fire that ate Malibu, etc, that was closest to me.

at it's closest approach, it was miles and miles to the west, across urban terrain form me, and at 90* to the wind pushing it, so no threat at all.

i live south of the LA River, at the base of the Hollweird Hills, so even if there is a Santa Ana, the fire would have to start across the street from me to even have a chance of getting me, since the santa anas blow from the north/north west, which is the direction the house faces in.

so, even if they are burning, and the winds are blowing, there's almost NO chance we're at risk.

notice i didn't say none.

mother nature is unpredictable.

558 fires in SoCal are as regular as the sunrise and set, and are actually part of the environment:

the brush HAS to burn to remain healthy and to reproduce.

idiot people stop it from burning as it should, so, when it does, inevitably, ignite, there is absolutely NO way to stop it.

a fire in the Simi Valley area, with winds behind it, is stopping at the Pacific, and not before. they can try to contain the sides somewhat, but there is no stopping the front if it's burning terrain with 8-10 years worth of growth or more.

they ought to do controlled burns every spring, but the Air Quality people would have kittens, as would the green weenies, but that's what is really need.

instead, we wait for the massive fire, which destroys even the top soil, and it takes years for the eco-system to recover, since the seeds that would germinate after a fire are gone, and there's no top soil left anyway if they did.

we're stupid like that.

561 redc FTW on wildfires, at least in SoCal, where it's mostly brush (if indigenous plants). As natural, normal, and inexorable as 1,000 feet of ice over Michigan, or good wine-grape growing climate in East Anglia - all normal, depending on when you are looking at it.

As for NorCal, forested areas, can't say. Fully confident CA policies there are as stupid and scientifically baseless as in other areas, so gonna jump in on USDA's and Trump's side there, but only based on the odds.

I'm sure much can be done to manage and mitigate the danger if brush fires to man-made assets, that isn't being done, but the fires themselves are unavoidable and, as redc, points out, actually desirable.

CA is of course dumbed down beyond recognition.

564 the forest management in #Failifornia is execrable, both state and federal.

i read about a study, over at Watt's Up With That IIRC, that said we could save metric butloads of rain water if we thinned the forests here.

there's still be shitloads of trees, but no way we'll ever do that: every tree is sacred, to paraphrase Monty Python.

and we don't do controlled burns, for mostly the same reasons as down south, because OMG. never mind that they would clear out the underbrush and kill of the diseased trees and drop the snags.... Oh Noes! Orange Fire Bad as Orange Man!

then we build INTO fire country, brush and forest, and people plant fuel right next their homes too: Pine, cedars, eucalyptus, palm trees, etc. plus wood decks and fences, plastic siding, you name it. idiots all.

we knew someone who lived in Paradise years ago, now long departed from the vale of tears, who told the story of the Bay Area idiot who bought a home there, and didn't want to rake up the pine needles, because she likes the look.

she *Resisted!* even after the local fire marshal first explained why, then later cited her for not clearing the fire hazard, because of course she did.

idiots are everywhere.

592 Read the piece "Allyson Costello stared at the two lines on her pregnancy test and knew - immediately and beyond a shadow of a doubt - that she would get an abortion."

I did too. The author forgot to mention bad trade agreements that devastated American manufacturing jobs and forced people into the low paying service industry.

Funny omission. In my manufacturing plant Allyson would have found both part time or full time employment, with fully employer paid health insurance, at a rate of pay of over $20 an hour (adjusted for inflation). See would have had a steady Monday to Friday job, with set hours. No nights or weekends.

But the (D)'s and (R)ino's wanted Americans to be able to purchase cheap imported goods to improve their lives, or some such shit was the actual justification.

Of course, Allyson would not have liked working in a factory for twenty dollars and hour and would have called Rolling Stone magazine to complain. They would have featured her in an article about how her working conditions were so horrific, the factory was hot in the summer and cold in the winter. They would have told of the concerns she had for the chemicals used in the manufacturing process and how the odors lingered on her clothing. How she was forced to accept the free shitty HMO health insurance which somehow deprived her of something like gender change surgery or some such.

They should take the name of church our of the church name and just call it "United" because it's beyond parody that a minister doesn't believe in God, the Holy Spirit or the Bible. All I can guess it that she either lied when she was ordained about her beliefs, or she came to Atheism but needed the paying church gig and liked lecturing to people about progressive politics and innate human potential to solve the worlds problems.

James Hacker: Humphrey, what's a Modernist in the Church of England?

Sir Humphrey Appleby: Ah, well, the word "Modernist" is code for non-believer.

James Hacker: You mean an atheist?

Sir Humphrey Appleby: No, Prime Minister. An atheist clergyman couldn't continue to draw his stipend. So, when they stop believing in God, they call themselves "Modernists".

James Hacker: How could the Church of England suggest an atheist as Bishop of Bury St Edmunds?

Sir Humphrey Appleby: Well, very easily. The Church of England is primarily a social organization, not a religious one.

James Hacker: Is it?

Sir Humphrey Appleby: Oh yes. It's part of the rich social fabric of this country. So bishops need to be the sorts of chaps who speak properly and know which knife and fork to use. The sort of people one can look up to.

Our victory in WWII pretty much kicked off the explosive growth in the Federal Government.

After the Government "won" the War people looked to the Government to be able to do anything and became more and more dependent on the Government. After 1949 the Federal Government kicked off a spurt of growth that has never stopped.

Not saying the Federal Government wasn't growing before the War but it came nowhere near how much and how fast Government growth took off after the War.

In 2003, when we gathered together to begin writing a statement of faith, we experienced first-hand what statements of belief do. 694 Step 1: Don't have kids on a $9/hour job where you can't even support yourself.

695 Today an Obama judge, Walker, is going to void Florida election safeguards to ensure Nelson and Gillum win. Yesterday, he was whining about the sins of slavery; not hard to connect the dots.

696 This paying for children stuff is bullshit. Either you pay or I pay! And I am tired of paying for where you stick your dick!
_______________

Yep, she and her boyfriend made the decision to bring the kid into the world. Then, when things don't work out between them, she moves back to Florida and asks the state to give her child support and then whines that the hundreds of dollars a month she gets isn't enough to allow her to live the lifestyle she wants.

Why should Florida taxpayers be responsible for her child-bearing decision? Allyson acts like "the government" should be her daddy and step in and provide for her when she makes bad decisions, like having a kid with a guy she didn't know well enough to know if they were compatible, and who apparently isn't willing to contribute to his own kid's support.

700 I have no problem believing that. My point is that many, many more marriages would end if the majority of men didn't have a sense of honor and obligation.

All the men out there believing the Progressive mentality know the government will pay, no need for honor or obligation! There is no such thing as the husband wife children black family. It is gone! Coming to white neighborhoods near you soon!

Three $1.99 lighters on the table in front of Allyson. Three packs of cigarettes, one menthol. You *can* get free matches when you buy cigarettes.

No money for tampons or deodorant. Sure.
