Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Ruth Bader Ginsburg, The Fittest 85 Year Old Woman In the Universe, Falls Unexpectedly, Breaking Three RibsI think she's home now after having been briefly hospitalized. What's amusing is that lefties don't know what to think of RBG any longer; they used to love making (stupid) memes about her, but then, when they realized Oh shit, we've gambled our juridical fortunes on the enduring health of a frail 85 year old spinster who naps more than a narcoleptic kitten, they started to panic. And then Their Pals in the Media tried to boost their spirits by endlessly talking up the SUPER HARD WORKOUT ROUTINE an 85 year old woman does to keep INCREDIBLY FIT. Now, obviously, anyone can and should exercise, and it's great RBG "works out." Healthy body healthy mind and all that. But honestly, wasn't the leftwing media laying it on just a little thick with these ludicrous testaments to Ginsburg's alleged Triathelete-level of fitness? Let's take a look back.. POLITICO: I Did Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Workout. It Nearly Broke Me. If you're wondering what a 20-something "man" who is "nearly broken" by an 85 year old woman's "pumping iron" regimen might look like, well, pretty much what you'd expect xim to look like. You can also click the link to see this soybean get REKT by a "workout" routine designed for someone born before Hitler became chancellor of Germany. BUSINESS INSIDER: Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been on the Supreme Court for 25 years today -- here's the workout she uses to stay on top of her game The workout consists mainly of Step exercises, then throwing yourself on to the ground with great force. NBC "NEWS:" Why Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the workout inspiration we all needThe 85-year-old Supreme Court Justice isn't leaving the bench anytime soon -- and maintaining her physical fitness keeps her on top of her game. The partisan propaganda outfit Washington Post tried to reassure its nervous leftwing cuck readers that an 85 year old was really in super-duper shape with this Vox-like "explainer" video. I like how this video ends, telling us that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is important, "because it's something we can all do." Why yes, we all can do it. Literally. Except for little babies, and soybean feature writers. ABC "NEWS:" "The longtime personal trainer of the Supreme Court Justice -- who gained the nickname "The Notorious R.B.G." -- shared secrets in October for how the 85-year-old stays physically strong every day as she interprets the Constitution." GAINNZZZ. They should call her Ruth Bader GAINZZZZberg. But don't worry about RBG -- leftists have her back. The people who endlessly tell us how much they Fucking Love Science think that the correct medical treatment for broken ribs is a rib transplant, and are offering up their own ribs:
Yes, lefties who rilly rilly rilly Luv Da Science, the accepted medical treatment for broken ribs is not to set them and let them mend on their own, but to perform an invasive operation during which the patient's chest cavity is cut open and the broken ribs replaced by spares collected from donors, who are probably unhealthy, overweight blue-haired women of dubious gender conformity and whose bones contain the genes that predict Dying Alone With Your 22 Cat-Husbands Who Then Proceed to Eat Your Fingers and Soft Tissues.

One of these days you'll be walking along, break your hip, and fall. She said: It is estimated that the Hyde Amendment limiting Medicaid abortions has saved 1 million lives since its passage in 1976 -- some, no doubt, became criminals and some, perhaps, lawyers and judges. It is a defining question for modern liberalism: Are these men and women "populations that we don't want to have too many of" or are they citizens worthy of justice and capable of contribution? It was a very long, tough recovery but he made it, although he could not walk as well. Then, a year later he falls and breaks the other one. That one nearly killed him. But he made it somehow and is back on his feet, although he's lost the ability to walk very far or fast. Posted by: Agency Cooper at November 08, 2018 04:43 PM (8tNRg) 201

Willowed: Eh, I mispoke, Broward can generate about 850,000 votes. So "finding" 46K is 5% of their total. But to be valid they have to be verified. Validation means 46,000 unique IDs and 46,000 unique signatures. Also impossible for more than 30K of those to be for Nelson, the other 16K will be for Scott.
Scott still ends up with a 6K lead. That generates a recount, which is already going to happen. That then brings in all the undercounts from the panhandle. Broward won't get any more votes after shooting their wad on this silliness. So we will be biting our nails, but Scott will end up the winner. If you casually fall down and start breaking a large number of things, it's, and I'm being as generous as possible, probably time you think about retiring
Yeah, the problem with getting old is that even if your mind is sharp, its not sharp for as long. You know how after several long days of hard work you have a hard time concentrating and even remembering your own damned name? The older you get, the less work and time it takes to reach that point. A normal day for a 30 year old causes the elderly to become very weary and weak. That's why you retire. Not because you cannot technically do the job any longer, but because you cannot keep it up at a level the job requires for as long and as well. And also there's the problem of fitness and incidents like this. The weaker and more tired you get, the more likely you are to make mistakes and have accidents. I know this all too well. And when you're 85, no exercise regimen on earth will let you bounce back and keep going like you used to. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at November 08, 2018 04:43 PM (39g3+) 223

Very much doubt this is survivable even relatively short term (say 3-6 months). First, if a mere "fall" breaks 3 ribs in a very light woman, the inherent frailty is extreme. Second- the pain is excruciating and she will only be able to take shallow breaths- the temptation for "just a little more morphine" in an already tiny body may be close to irresistible. Finally, the long term horizontal positioning necessary in an already frail body is likely to lead to fluid buildup/pneumonia.

Well, I've called Pam Bondi's office - they first put me through to "price gouging" complaints on the citizens' hotline; I called back and asked for a person to speak with: told her I wasn't interested in price gouging but VOTE gouging. She said they don't handle this - the division of elections does. She gave me the #: I called there, and the guy who answered gave me this stupid response:
they're allowed to count the votes." I said they are not counting the votes, but casting them as we speak. I also told him about Rubio's tweet that the county supervisors of elections are supposed to turn in the # of votes cast - not how many voted for Scott, DeSantis, Gillum, etc - within 30 minutes, and it's almost 48 hours later and this Spikes hag in Broward County REFUSES to say how many votes have been cast in the county, including early votes and absentee. I asked that someone investigate this, and if it's true, she needs to be arrested. I asked if any one from the state Division of Elections office is in Broward watching this mess; he said he didn't know. I asked, well can you find out? He came back, well there SHOULD be someone there. WHAT?? I asked who. He left me on hold again and came back and said, "No one here knows." He said do you want to talk to the General Counsel's office? I asked if there would be anyone there to take my call. He left me on hold AGAIN, came back & said "I don't know, but you can leave a message if they're not." "When will they get back to me? Today?" "I don't know, maybe tomorrow." I said "Tomorrow may be too late; they're already well on their way to invalidating the Secretary of Agriculture results." So I left a message, futile as it may be. Sorry for the run-on sentences and paragraphs. I am STEAMED. Posted by: Marybeth at November 08, 2018 04:58 PM (MEgUr) 398

Don't count out the old farts. Way back when, the recreation director of our base in Egypt was a minor legend in the Army spec ops community, Herb Brav. Dood was a serious badass, seeing combat in WWII (including running guns and explosives to the Norwegian resistance while with the OSS), Korea and Vietnam before he retired from active duty. When I knew him in 1990, he was 69 years old, a ropy old dude who swam several miles in the Red Sea every day for his morning exercise. He had this thing he used to call "The Monkey-Strong Workout" which used just your own body weight. Most of us 20-something soldiers tried to hang with him during the workout, and failed. That man was a machine. He was also kind of insane. But in a good way. He'd walk around the base muttering to himself about monkeys "monkeys..... monkeys.... if you wanna be strong, watch the monkeys...." His favorite saying was "Some things are easy. Other things are even easier." Needless to say, us infantry troops loved him. Posted by: IllTemperedCur at November 08, 2018 04:58 PM (veoSD) 402

I recall that Rand Paul had six broken or fractured ribs. Pneumonia set in a week or so later and he had to take the strongest antibiotics to stop it. And he had a lot of pain.
So RBG may be out of the hospital but she isn't out of the woods even if she is more fit than Wonder Woman. And I saw some recent video of RBG walking about 10 feet in a courtroom. She moved very slowly and without any sense of physical confidence. She looked 95, not 85. She also seemed somewhat confused, like being on her feet required so much physical effort that she couldn't really concentrate on talking to anyone in the room. Anyone who saw her in those recent videos can't be surprised that she had a bad fall, just as it won't be a surprise if this turns into something much more serious in the next week or so. " RBG is a person. One you may disagree with, politically, but she's a person, and by all accounts, a pretty decent one at that. "
I'm on the fence about that owing to various statements she's made the last 2 years. She had the opportunity to lead by example; instead, she chose to get in some cheap shots at the expense of the courts' reputation. That's a direct contribution to where this all is heading. Some Jack LaLanne birthday feats:
1955 age 41: Swam from Alcatraz Island to Fisherman's Wharf -- a distance of 1.23 miles -- while handcuffed. 1957 age 43: Swam the Golden Gate channel while towing a cabin cruiser ... which weighed 2,500 pounds. The one-mile swim turned into a six-and-a-half-mile journey thanks to ocean currents. 1958 age 44: Paddle boarded nonstop for nine-and-a-half hours -- a 30-mile trip. 1974 age 60: He repeated his 1955 Alcatraz stunt, but in addition to the handcuffs he was also shackled ... and towing a 1,000-pound boat. 1976 age 62: To celebrate the US Bicentennial, he swam one mile--again shackled and handcuffed--while towing 13 boats (symbolizing the 13 original colonies) with 76 people on board. I too am disturbed at any hint of enjoying this.
I feel for the old bag of dust. She essentially ruined her reputation as a flaming Lefty by undermining what she claimed to stand for in an attempt to further glorify herself, thereby showing it all to have been a fraud. Her motives were never justice, or the people, or law, or progressivism. Her motives were herself. She wanted glory, and would do anything to get it. This ancient bag of dust decided not to retire either because she secretly hated tfg and did not want him to appoint her replacement (plausible - I have known enough old racist liberals to believe this is more common than anyone would admit.) or she wanted more glory by having the first woman president (Bwaaaa ha ha) appoint her replacement. Either way, it was not about the little people. Even at her age and accomplishments, she could not retire and enjoy life, she wanted more. MORE. MORE. MORE. Fucking progressives make me sick. The Left knows this, and that is why they have fed the propaganda machine to make it look like this ancient bag of used tissues, dander, and hate was so vital. It's not her hubris we celebrate, or the lies, it is that they lie to us with such inanity. They think we are stupid. They think anyone in the whole country believed that a 20yo male would be broken by her workout routine. They treat us like Montel Williams. I am not Montel Williams. Then he got full-blown pneumonia a week or so later. His injuries were much worse. I'm just observing that fractures are not nearly as bad as full breaks. Not that fractures are minor for anyone over 80. I had a fractured rib when I was about 13. Very very painful for several weeks. Posted by: TooCon at November 08, 2018 05:29 PM (F2vOa) 683

Lurking Lurker:
I don't believe it does. However, the raw count itself should be known. So we know in Palm Beach the most they would have left is 5k. If Broward has more than 10k then there is a fuckton of alarms that should be going off as Palm Beach had almost same rough raw vote total as Broward. But from what I can glean from Schweikart's comment is that there is actual real vote from Bay still outstanding which is going to be a healthy chunk. That's what I see from looking at the NYT map. Actual precincts, re vote counts, are still out there in Bay apparently. Posted by: prescient11 at November 08, 2018 05:29 PM (q+HNC) 688

I think it has gotten to the point where exposing voting fraud - even obvious voting fraud - will trigger a hot war. Suppose someone (DOJ? I have no clue as to the jurisdiction) were to go find that, say, Broward county was obviously fabricating votes and then SCOTUS gets involved.
The media complex would immediately suppress the real story and proclaim that the President is acting as a dictator and subverting democracy. This would feed a media feeding frenzy for about 36 hours with a constantly-amplifying panic-inducing furor. Then the coordinated "riots" would begin and get completely out of control. In order to control it, they would have to send in the Guard or the regular army, which would then restart the cycle - this time about the violent suppression of disenfranchised patriots by the corrupt executive. The next riot would be in the next available stronghold. Repeat this process a few times and you've got yourself a civil war.
