Shocker: After Blasey's Best Friend in High School Denied Having Ever Been at a Party With Kavanaugh Or Knowing About an Alleged Attack, Friends of Blasey's -- Including Monica McLean -- "Urged" Her to "Clarify" Her Statement

The FBI lawyer who worked closely with Schumer's protege, Preet Bahara, and who is accused of being, um, "prepared" by Blasey for her lie detector test, also pressured Leland Keyser to "clarify" her statement denying any knowledge of a sexual assault to be more helpful to Blasey.

Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford's, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.
The statement to the FBI offers a glimpse into how Dr. Ford's allies were working behind the scenes to lobby old classmates to bolster their versions of the alleged incident, as were Judge Kavanaugh's.

On Thursday, a day after sending to the White House the report on its investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, the FBI sent the White House and Senate an additional package of information that included text messages from Ms. McLean to Ms. Keyser, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Ms. McLean’s lawyer, David Laufman, said in a statement: "Any notion or claim that Ms. McLean pressured Leland Keyser to alter Ms. Keyser's account of what she recalled concerning the alleged incident between Dr. Ford and Brett Kavanaugh is absolutely false."
Ms. Keyser’s lawyer on Sept. 23 said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee that she had no recollection of attending a party with Judge Kavanaugh, whom she said she didn’t know. That same day, however, she told the Washington Post that she believed Dr. Ford. On Sept. 29, two days after Dr. Ford and the judge testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Ms. Keyser's attorney sent a letter to the panel saying his client wasn’t refuting Dr. Ford’s account and that she believed it but couldn't corroborate it.
A person close to the former classmates said it was her understanding that mutual friends of Dr. Ford and Ms. Keyser, including Ms. McLean, had contacted Ms. Keyser after her initial statement to warn her that her statement was being used by Republicans to rebut the allegation against Judge Kavanaugh. The friends told Ms. Keyser that if she had intended to say she didn't remember the party--not that it had never happened--that she should clarify her statement, the person said, adding that the friends hadn't "pressured" Ms. Keyser.

I'm getting a little tired of bending over backwards to claim "something certainly happened" to Blasey. I think she's straight-up lying.

I can't be sure of that, of course.

But she seems to act in bad faith a lot. I can't fly. I went to a marriage therapist to discuss the ongoing strife of a fucking second entrance we put in two years before. I never heard you wanted to come to California to talk to me, even though it was in news accounts.

The party was near the country club. What's that? Investigators can't find any known "party houses" near the country club? Oh, I meant the party was somewhere between my house and the country club, a 20 minute drive by car.

Wait, none of the people I named as being at the party lived in a house that conformed to my description of it? Oh there were some other people there too. I don't know who. I guess it was a house that belonged to a Conveniently Unknown Person.

But for me, the worst example is the nasty passive-aggressive mean-girl insinauation she dropped about Leland Keyser, claiming, innocently-sounding, that she hopes that Leland Keyser gets over the "health challenges" she's having, strongly implying that Keyser has some kind of brain-affecting progressive disease like Alzheimer's.

Spoiler alert: It's not. She has back and neck problems. Nothing to do with the brain.

But Lil' Miss Innocent Baby-Talk Vocal Fry strongly implied that her "friend" was deranged.

Some friend.

So excuse me if I do not join in with the pretend "Facts don't care about your feelings" crowd in asserting that I know, somehow, as a fact, despite the total lack of facts to establish it, that "something happened" to Blasey.

There is absolutely no actual evidence, beyond a sneaky, deceitful woman's say-so, that anything happened, ever.

I also don't get how the facts-don't-care-about-your-feelings-but-look-at-the-feelings-Blasey-showed-when-testifying crowd is so dismissive of the fact that Blasey's best friend in high school, who she names as a witness to the events leading up the assault, says she is aware of no such party and never met Brett Kavanaugh -- which she would have done, given that there were, depending on what Blasey's needs are at the moment, between 4 and 6 people at the party.

If we're gonna believe all women, why aren't we believing Leland Keyser? If she says she never met Brett Kavanaugh, why are we so convinced she is a liar or delusional? Is it those "health challenges" Miss Squeaky Voice slyly alluded to? You know, the ones affecting her neck and back but not her brain?

Why is this being treated as a mere speed-bump that can be "worked around" or safely treated as of no import?

All these past weeks we've been waiting for one of Kavanaugh's friends to say, "Okay, yeah, I remember a party like that. Brett was there. So was Blasey."

Had any of Kavanaugh's friends said this, Kavanaugh would already be presumed guilty. After all, if his friends say there was such a party -- even if they can't recall any kind of assault -- we'd say Brett Kavanaugh is either lying or was so drunk we can't trust his memory about being innocent of a sexual assault.

But when Blasey's friend says, "Nope, no party, and I never even met Brett Kavanaugh," everyone's like, "Well, you know. Women's little brains can't retain memories as well as men's. Doesn't mean anything."

Add into that that Keyser was clearly pressured -- no matter the Schumer-connected Deep Stater says -- to "clarify" her statement, and still refused to change her memories to conform with Blasey's claims, and I don't see how people can continue saying "Well something must have happened."

Why? Because a single woman, disputed by the best friend she named as a key witness, says so?

Does the right now officially buy into the left's farcical #BelieveAllWomen, #NoMatterTheFacts mantra, or are they just lying about that for political reasons, as usual?

Oh, I know the politicians are probably lying. Politicicians gonna politick.

Why are non-politician commentators, alleged thinkers and members of the "Intellectual Dark Web" or whatever, making the same evidence-free claims?

I don't mind someone saying "I don't know" or leaving open the possibility that something happened to her.

Maybe it did. I wasn't there. I don't know.

But what the fuck is this bullshit with people who claim "Facts don't care about your feelings" asserting, as a fact that that they Feel, that they know something must have happened?

How.

Do.

You.

Know.

That.

You.

#FakeIntellectual.

Here's what I feel is a fact -- I don't like the way Blasey casually insinuated a falsehood -- that her friend was having brain problems -- while pretending to be only concerned about her "health challenges."

I don't like that she didn't just say, "Well, she's having back and neck problems. Maybe she's tired from that and her memory isn't sharp."

Which would be a honest admission of the message she was trying to pump out.

Instead, she implied it sneakily. Pretending to be oh-so-innocently worrying about her friend's health while sticking the "Leland is too brain-damaged to remember" dagger in her back.

That's not a strong indicator that she is honest about other things.

Below: Blasey Ford says Keyser "needed her lawyer to take care of this for her," implying she's legally incompetent.

In fact, Keyser's family said that Keyser was "blindsided" by all of this because Ford never gave her a heads-up before dumping her name into the superheated national debate.

Keyser's family seems to think Ford is lying:

'Leland was completely blindsided by her name being thrown into it all. The first thing she knew about it was when she woke up on Thursday morning and her name was just everywhere. It was crazy.'

Ford lied about the polygraph. She pretended she knew nothing about polygraphs, and she specifically denied ever giving anybody advice about them, and we know from her ex-BF (whose letter was credibly specific on this point) that that was a lie.

Ford also refused to let her lawyers turn over to Grassley her therapist notes, and the correspondence between her and the WaPo and other outlets, and also the Feinstein letter. If Ford only wants to get the facts out, then why is she hiding facts like those?

Ford also erased all her social media before she went public, and the most likely reason for that is that she is a rabid anti-Trump, pussy-hat-wearing partisan. But she wanted the public to hear her testimony without knowing any of that, even though it obviously goes directly to her bias and therefore her credibility.

Ford just wanted a fair airing of the facts, except for those facts that reflected badly on her and called her credibility into question.

Well...there are circumstances in which one wouldn't report it, but I don't think they have anything to do with Ford. I was on the receiving end of DV once, and while I wrote down a detailed description of it I didn't report it. 3) A woman claims she went to a party where guys were lined up at a door, waiting to chain-rape a girl in a back room, and suggests Kavanaugh was the mastermind behind this. After attending ten such parties, she claims SHE was the girl in the back room, and Kavanaugh was not only in lines in the past, but personally raped her.

Now, of these three, the third is the only real event. The others are nothing, no concern at all. This stuff happens, and women shrug it off like guys do when stuff happens to them they don't like. Because they don't rise above disgusting drunken behavior.

And the third, not a single person alive takes seriously or gives the slightest credence because its so patently false and idiotic. Its the worst, but also the stupidest and clearly the most mythical, the greatest falsehood, some event which wouldn't even be believed in a teenage sex farce. Not even in France.

That's what this whole kerfluffle is about. That's it. This is the entirety of the controversy.

Here's where they come up with that number:

They count only trials that come to a conclusion. In other words, of cases that go to trial, only a small percentage are found to be false.

That doesn't include the thousands of accusations and claims later withdrawn or the filings that are investigated and found to be false. Just ones that go all the way through a trial to a jury conclusion.

And no prosecutor is going to take a case to trial unless they believe they have a reasonable chance of winning. Which means its carefully selected to almost always be true or at least provable enough to convince a jury.

So, my conclusion is that Ford started telling her story, got painted into a corner about it (four boys and she in the mid eighties), and then threw out Keyser's name hoping that Keyser would at least be non-committal enough that her statement wouldn't disprove the party's occurrence - wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Obviously, once she came forward calling Keyser directly or texting her "hey, remember that party where I ghosted? What do you mean no?" would leave a trail of documentary evidence in the possession of Keyser that could unravel the story.

In order words, SHE WAS LYING ABOUT THE PARTY THE WHOLE TIME, and tried to get Keyser to lie together with her.
Also, I agree that the investigation was a sham but not for the reasons stated by the Democrats. Had the initial investigation been passed in confidence to the FBI before it became public (and could influence the purported witnesses' stories), it would have become obvious that Ford was telling material falsehoods.

They count only trials that come to a conclusion. In other words, of cases that go to trial, only a small percentage are found to be false.
That doesn't include the thousands of accusations and claims later withdrawn or the filings that are investigated and found to be false. Just ones that go all the way through a trial to a jury conclusion.

I think it also hurts them with millions of men who have experienced the joy of family courts. The woman must be believed is how family courts treat men.

That's where I started out on this. I've had enough first-hand experience with delusional people with "convenient" memories that that's what it sounded like to me.

BUT! New information has blown that out of the water - exactly as with Ace. She's just a flat-out liar.

To make it simple, the key point is the "Two Front Doors" stuff. She said that nobody understood why she wanted to do that - that it was because of her trauma, and that THAT let to all the rest.

But now we know that NOBODY would think adding a second front door would be the east bit odd, in her circumstance, and that it had NOTHING to do with feeling trapped or claustrophobic. It was just so that the part of the house that had been converted to a studio apartment could have it's own front door - something common in her city.

The Two Front Door thing was the pole holding up the tent. It tells us that she didn't hand over her therapy notes talked about in a media story - one that lent a lot of credibilty to her story - because they undoubtedly DON'T EXIST. In her testimony, the notes provided turned into her own paraphrasing of those notes, which she has somehow lost track of, even though they're critical to proving her life-altering accusation.

There were NO symptoms of trauma, and therefore NO therapy (at least related to that), and therefore NO magical moment where her decades-old memory returned.

She blatantly lied about the most critical part of her story, so why should we believe ANY of it? The obvious answer is that "We SHOULDN'T".

I observed that Trump figured this out within the last few days - that she's just a f-ing liar. I could tell, because he took the kid gloves off, and just started mercilessly mocking her at a rally. She's no victim of any kind - but a VICTIMIZER herself. She deserves no pity or kindness - just scorn and ridicule.

There's also a huge chasm in appearance. Go look at Kav's yearbook picture from when he was 17. He was a handsome lad. Now go look at Ford's picture from when she was 15. She was ... unfortunate looking.

I could see 17 year olds inviting a 15 year old if she was a complete babe who looked older than she was. But the pretty people usually don't bridge that gap for people 5-6 points lower than them on the hotness scale. Especially not if they're the boorish louts we're supposed to believe Kav and his buddies were.

McLean is an old high school friend, too, and Ford lived with her in CA for six years. McLean has VERY close connections to the FBI/DoJ cabal going after Trump and his close allies. McLean is also the friend that the ex-boyfriend said Ford coached on taking a polygraph test.

Further, when Ford wrote to Sen. Feinstein, she did so at McLean's house - in Delaware! Clearly McLean has been central to this fraud all along.

My dad was a flooring installer for 50 years. Up at 3am, out the door, working in all weathers, all conditions, sick or healthy, every damn day. He was one of the best in the business; he got hired all the time to fix jobs that were botched by other, less skilled flooring installers. He got it done.

One day he was installing a bathroom floor in some woman's house. She was friendly enough. They chatted, she even made him lunch. When he was done she was super happy and thanked him sincerely. He left, job well done, then went home and thought nothing of it.

Until the next day.

He gets to work the next morning and his boss says, "What'd you do?"

"What do you mean?"

"The woman whose floor you did yesterday. She called and said she was so scared of you that she couldn't wait for you to get out of her house. She says you scared her so much she was shaking the whole night. She doesn't want to pay the full cost because of how much you scared her!"

My dad was gobsmacked. He'd done absolutely NOTHING to frighten this woman. She'd made no indication she wanted him out of the house. It was such an obvious, insane lie that he didn't know what to say.

"Well, what did you do?" he asked his boss.

"We reduced the cost of her bill, of course!"

My dad didn't make a regular paycheck, by the way. He was paid a percentage from each job he did. So if the person doesn't pay the full cost, he doesn't get paid what he's due. Which means this woman literally stole money from my father.

When he got home and told my mom, she said, "Well thank God she didn't say you tried to rape her!"

Again, my dad was gobsmacked. The idea that someone would accuse him of something so VILE left him totally shaken.

After that incident he refused to work in a home alone with a woman again. He demanded that there be at least two people in the house while he was there. If they couldn't do it, he demanded they be out of the house entirely, otherwise he wouldn't do the job.

That was 30 years ago. I don't even want to THINK what would have happened if it all went down today.

THAT'S why I don't believe women automatically. I KNOW they lie. They lie, cheat, steal and connive to get their way, just like everybody else.

Dr. Ford had to cover up her initial lie. "There were four boys in the room!", according to the written notes. She said it was only Brett and Mark! How can she square such a falsehood? Suddeny, the party was only Four Boys! That's the ticket, 4 boys, her and Leland.

Only one problem, that limits the people that could (falsely or mistakenly) corroborate her fable. And she came up snake eyes when Leland Keyser said she didn't ever attend any such party and never even met Brett Kavanaugh.

The ex-Mrs. Bob Beckel was a big hole in her story. You go to a party with only four boys, and you don't remember that you ever met them? It isn't like a house party of a dozen or fifty people where you may only meet ten or twenty out of all of them.

Add in that she cannot remember when, where, why, or how about everything except, "ONE Beer!"; and Brett Kavanaugh did it!!!

I had noticed that too, and come to the same conclusion. It's kind of an unsavory thing to say out loud, and you worry about catching hell for saying it these days, but she really just wasn't attractive enough for the story to ring true, once you see the old photos. The older boys wouldn't have known she was alive.

First she goes on humorously about her friends recommendations, then when further pressed says she thinks Feinstein's staff maybe came up with some possibilities, and then when asked if either of her lawyers were one of those recommendations, she says "not both of them".
