EMT 09/30/18

I am not a terribly religious person. I won't even try to describe the state of my spirtual self.

But I am really trying to take this to heart:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.

Amen.

2 Good Morning Morons; today is Sunday, September 30, 2018. On this day in 1888 Jack the Ripper killed his third and fourth victims, Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes. He is said to have went on a killed one more before disappearing. They think the Ripper has been identified now. DNA evidence points to a relatively underwhelming Polish madman called Aaron Kosminski, who was committed to a mental asylum at the height of the Ripper hysteria. But not all 'experts' agree.

Of course they can not be located because when or if they do they will probably be criminally charged along with being hit with a massive civil suit. But I guarantee people in the neighborhood know who owned these dogs.

Why do you boast of evil, o mighty man?The steadfast love of God endures all day.Your tongue plots destruction,like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.You love evil more than good,and lying more than speaking what is right.You love all words that devour,O deceitful tongue.
But God will break you down forever;he will snatch and tear you from your tent,

Might as well send her out of power in the most humiliating way possible.

100 Speaking of hummingbirds: One of our great vacation experiences was when we stayed at The Bald Pate Inn* outside Estes park in CO. They had arrays of hummingbird feeders there, and in the early evening, a CU bird researcher was there. He was measuring and weighing them. He could catch them in this open cage like device, then slipped aluminum rings around their bodies. When he released them, they would just kind of sit in his palm for 5 seconds or so.
He let everyone in our family hold one. it was amazing, you could feel their little heart's beating @200 beats/minute.
*Bald Pate is a reference to a duck variety. Such a cool place.

134 That Allentown explosion looks to be one block from the new PPL center. Which is a relatively new indoor arena/stadium for large gatherings, concert events and such.

With the flow of traffic and the one way streets, the effected vehicle would have made a right urn at the traffic light, traveled less than 250 foot, made another right, and with the completion of the second turn, would have been directly adjacent to, and in front of the entrance to this structure.

I wonder if there were any events scheduled for that time frame last night.

rights - which that law is supposed to protect. I still don't think
anything will come of my complaint - but that simple letter means the IG
didn't just file my complaint in the trash can when they got it and
some sort of official action will happen on my complaint."
The official action I most expect is that the IG will determine that I don't have standing to object to the DOJ's inaction. However because I sent copies of the complaint to the President, My Senator, and my Congressman, there is some chance that the IG will actually do his job and investigate my complaint. We will see.

172 Good Sunday morning, horde!

Let me tell you about my trip to the presidential rally in Wheeling yesterday.

The event was to start at 7:00, with doors opening at 4:00. We didn't want to mill around for three hours, so we figured if we left at 4 (1.5 hour drive) we'd be there at the perfect time.

Well. If you ever have free tickets to see the President, make sure you get there when the doors open, because you won't need the ticket, and they'll shut them when the joint is full.

I learn things the hard way.

What the Democrats are banking on is their own stupid MFM blue Wave hype and them taking the Senate. Just like Scankles believing her 15 point lead in BS polls. But the polls just like 2016 are BS and Flake and Corker will no longer be in the Senate afterwards.

218 One of the most ugly and brutal costs of war is to a man's soul. It can make the otherwise reasoned, unreasonable, those full of compassion, dispassionate, the spiritual, dispirited and the optimist, a cynic.

Many do however, walk away with a renewed sense of purpose deeply rooted in what they've seen, to ensure that such despotism and human callousness never rears it's head again. From such a person, the instigators can't hide, nor can their despicable quest for division be disguised.

I may disagree with my neighbor, but i love him. However I will not stand for anyone's despotism, because I know it all to well.

It is our collective duty to dissuade those who would perpetrate this ugliness and stop it, arrest it with all of our earthly and heavenly tools. For the cost if we don't is too high.

Always ensure you walk on the righteous path and carry your rod and staff- for you never know where it might lead.

For years residents on the Cape and surrounding areas supported bans on all kinds of fishing to restock depleted fisheries. It was largely justified after years of commercial over fishing.

So now the fish are back and when they come back so do the seals. And when the seals come back so do the sharks.

Here's a thought, don't go swimming where there are a lot of seals and sharks.

That is just a culmination of a hundred years of creeping socialism, fascism, and congress turning into a family business with no turnover and the American System of corporatism put into place by Dishonest Abe.
What congress can not get into laws they turn over to regulatory agencies that tell you how much water your toilet will flush and now even how even the medical industry will be taken over by the government. There is no part of your life anymore that is not regulated or prohibited.

So be not surprised when a Democrat Pharaoh dictator takes over.

280 So if, as a lot of internet sleuths have speculated, the second front door in Dr. Crazy-Fraud's house was installed not because of her loony fear of Kavanaugh, but because she was renovating her Palo Alto house to include an illegal (under local zoning laws) rental unit, in order to "host Google interns" as illegal renters, has Dr. Crazy-Fraud been reporting that illegal rental income to the IRS on her tax returns every year?

Because if she does have an illegal rental unit in her house, she probably would not want to report the rental income on her CA tax returns (which might tip off Palo Alto to the illegal rental unit), meaning she probably left it off both her state and federal returns. But she would have to sign her federal tax returns under penalty of perjury, so if she has been omitting the rental income, she has been committing perjury on her federal tax returns.

As as the liar Blumenthal helpfully reminded us, false in one thing, false in all things.

I remember taking a college abnormal psychology class in college, with an old wizened professor, graduate of Harvard - before it went wrong.

The class was small, perhaps ten people. One time he looked around the class and basically tore through an indictment of the people who turned psychology into a career. Mentioned how they were deeply troubled people, substance abusers, had mental problems themselves.

It was refreshing - a caution to all of us in the class. As a businessperson I was only interested in ways to deal with the caliber of employee I had to confront every day, in a time of extremely low employment. I don't think I ever figured that out, but after a solid volume of reading and numerous books I can usually spot the troubled types.

'Dr' Ford is a troubled individual. The gum chewing, the hair and glasses obstructing the face, the mannerisms, the vocal cues, the lack of respect for authority. One bright enough and completely capable of constructing a 'credible story' from material in Mark Judges books on drinking, partying, and times at Georgetown Prep. She is a fraud. One whose own parents and family would not appear with her in support in the US Senate. They know her best and probably have suffered with her delusions for decades.

2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.

14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

338 God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

339 This one may be more appropriate for the current day

St. Michael the Archangel, defend Us in battle. Be our protector against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, oh Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits that prowl the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
