Weird News Dump

sat coffee contest .jpg

Good morning Horde. Let us take a peak at a few things that are different. These items didn't get too much attention this past week at the AoSHQ.

***

Well, its been an exhausting week on many fronts. Maybe we can escape "politics" for awhile. Enjoy these stories or something else in this open thread. Please try not to run with sharp objects and be nice to one another.

Have a great weekend!!!

22 From Psalm 40, the psalm Mrs. Kavanaugh has asked us all to pray over her husband Brett:

Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me;O Lord, make haste to help me!
Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion
Who seek to destroy my life;
Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor
Who wish me evil.
Let them be confounded because of their shame,
Who say to me, "Aha!"

AMEN.

We are one week away from MiMoMe 2018!

If you are within 300 miles of Smokehouse 52 (sh52bbq.com) in Chelsea, Michigan next Saturday evening you should join us.

Hit the website for details: mimomee.stoatnet.org/, or e-mail me for the scoop (address in nick)

For stout & sturdy 'ettes & 'rons, we have a cabin campsite reserved that is totes not built on a ancient Indian burial ground. Totes. We'll light the fire around 7:00 PM Friday evening with pants-less dancing commencing shortly thereafter & continuing until they throw us out on Sunday.

60 In this current shit show, the biggest personal loser so far has been Judge Kavanaugh. x

Starting yesterday and going forward, the biggest personal loser will be Leland Keyser, former high school best friend of Dr. Ford and who dared to tell the truth. There was no party that she and Dr. Ford were at where this happened and furthermore, that she had never even met Brett Kavanaugh in high school. Ms. Keyser will have every leftist so called friend demanding that she recant and support the story of Dr. Ford. Personally, any friend that ever asks me to lie for such a purpose is scum, and the friendship is better off dead. I wonder if any bosses or others will likewise pressure her to lie?

If I were her or her family, I would carry a small unobtrusive recording device, and when one of these people make their demands, I would draw them out, and get them to commit an action that would show their conspiracy to suborn perjury.

This next week will only hurt the poor little bastards caught up in this partisan Democrat web of lies and slander. The MSM will feast on their suffering.

So here's some tinfoil hattery speculation.... The FBI has a lot of credibility to make up, if that is even possible, and maybe PDTS has offered them a chance to begin to do so by exposing the democrats as the lying, manipulative traitors the really are. Just ask the questions that logically arise and then release the 302s un-redacted when the 'investigation' is concluded.

Posted by: Muldoon at September 29, 2018 09:21 AM (mvenn)

140 there seems to be two sides to the praying for enemies things ... there is the prayer and "soft answer turns away wrath" type "meme". That seems to be for the average lost/misguided soul.
Then there are the hardened hearts, seared conscious types. Jesus said of these "you are of your father the devil, and his works you will do". There seem to be plenty of times when an enemy seeks to destroy us, not just be rude and think we are stupid or racist. Those types plot and conspire, and want us dead.

Ford shows a lot of signs of being the latter, though I can't tell if she is just twisted in mind or has gone over the edge past all hope. I finally heard her screechy little voice and fake trembling as she read her scrip (could only handle a minute of it as some body language person said she was a fraud).

In any case, the Soros/Merkel/Hillary types certainly seem like pure evil, ready to sacrifice Western Civ itself by marching third world cartels into our communities and demanding we serve them, and adopt to their cultural demands. It is "Demonic" indeed.

Doesn't everybody have a dentures story? I know I do. When I was a kid in the early 70s, my single mom was raising 3 kids and working, so my great aunt moved in to take care of us while she worked. She was elderly. We had 3 Siameses. She would put her teeth in a glass by her bedside every night in the proper cliched fashion. One morning, we got up and the false teeth were laying in the middle of our living room floor with cat teeth marks all over them.

This question came up on our homeschool list recently, with regard to flutes. One of the moms who plays the flute in a local orchestra said to contact flute (or in your case, French horn) instructors at nearby colleges (we have a bunch in our area; you may not!) to see if any of the students are selling theirs in order to upgrade.

She added to avoid Costco ones (if they even have them!) or anything Chinese made.

Time to trust-bust all of these dicks: either carriers and everything is left up (other than, say, explicit death threats) or reduce them to publishers so they're responsible for content and can be sued for content (that would basically put them out of business -- tough shit).

In Jr high, we marched a lot, mostly in parades. We had special marching horns, similar to a trumpet but bigger (and more awkward).

337 I started out playing cornet in grade school

-
When I was a kid, there was a TV show I liked named Coronet Blue. It was about an amnesiac who people were trying to kill who could remember only the words coronet blue. I didn't know what a coronet was (and I didn't realize that cornet and coronet were two different words until looked it up just now. P.S. Shut up!) So there was no internet in those days. Hell, writing had just been invented. So I looked it up in the dictionary and didn't know if it meant horn or crown. So I thought it and thought about it and then the series wasn't renewed and I never learned what coronet blue meant.

And that's when I learned that life isn't fair.

338 Dr. Crazy-Fraud's obsession with Mike Judge is kind of interesting. She claims that if she can get the records of when Mike Judge worked at Safeway, she could be more helpful in remembering the event.
She claims that she saw him once after the incident, but doesn't claim to know the date she saw him. Her trauma seems quite convenient that way, doesn't it?

yeah, DiFi has a lot of old connections ... if she has some friends in the FBI that are as corrupt as some at the top, they could twist something and release it, or even leak it.

But I suppose his whole class and all friends could have been subject to interview in any case. He surely cleared that stuff with his lawyer, and it is all about the public perception, not any real crime.

I'm hoping the week of limited investigation will clear Kav and indicate Ford is not believable. A real probe would give them grounds to discredit her whole testimony, maybe even suggest perjury prosecution.

But if she really has some issues, mental or perhaps DeepState friends and family ... and/or there is evidence this was a frame job just like the PsyOp they ran on Trump/Russia ... then it is just part and parcel of the DeepState war, and Ford is "one of theirs".

Man killed in freak car crash after trying to reach his food at Jack in the Box drive-thru in St. Louis

Charles Wood Jr., 20, was pronounced dead at a hospital after the accident at the restaurant Wednesday night, police said.

Wood pulled up to the drive-thru window at an angle just after 10 p.m., police said. While trying to reach his food from the window, he apparently opened his door and leaned out of his car, police said. The car was in reverse and somehow accelerated backward, pinning Wood against a tree.

Wood suffered serious injuries to his head, neck, torso and legs, police said. He was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead there.

This is what I found annoying too. On a radio show the day after the hearings, this "something happened to her but it might not have been by Kavanaugh" was the mantra. It's as if they believe that something happened to her THAT NIGHT....and that's why she's an emotional wreck NOW.
Look, I have no doubt that Ford is messed up, but it doesn't follow that it's because of something from 1982.
Also, even someone who is victimized by someone in their past isn't a saint or a hero by virtue of their suffering. They can also be liars and connivers.

Not bad, I remember when they were getting near 80K at the height. I have routed '56 that came with PAFs that I rescued from europe, but you know, asshole metalhead me took the bridge PAF out and stuck in an ancient duncan distortion that seymour wound himself. The guitar is a blowtorch, has the big frets too.

499 Not that this means anything, but callers to radio shows (even here in NY/NJ), comments on FB and various websites that I've seen seem to be running about 95% in favor of Kavanaugh and that the Dems are scum.
Women are especially distrustful of Ford.

500 Look, I have no doubt that Ford is messed up, but it doesn't follow that it's because of something from 1982.
Also, even someone who is victimized by someone in their past isn't a saint or a hero by virtue of their suffering. They can also be liars and connivers.

You're describing Borderline Personality Disorder.

I'm not going to diagnose someone on the internet, but I will say when you encounter someone who is Borderline, their childhoods are riddled with abuse, of all sorts, and then as adults they are horrible to be around, because they are.

It doesn't excuse the adult behavior, not at all. Someone molested you when you were 5, that's terrible. It shouldn't never happen to anyone, but then as an adult when you boil someone's kid's pet bunny in a pot on their stove because you are being ignored, that's just not ok. You don't get to use your abuse to excuse your behavior.

505 Milano had TWO signs; and was illegally videoing inside the hearing room that saw her smartphone confiscated. Security had her pegged after the first sign was taken away; and you could see when the uniformed cop took away her second sign, that he was visibly pissed. Dem staffers probably gave her the signs -- I think there's one screencap showing it on a clipboard.

BTW, now I can no longer access the bookmarked Thomas Wictor's unrolled twitter thread about Milano. I guess they've scrubbed all the cached versions now too.

Here's a YouTube video of Thomas Wictor discussing the banning and its relation to the Milano thread:

People are hesitant to speak up because it's pointless and they don't want to face repercussions, but they pay attention. I've seen many women come to Kavanaugh's defense. I've had many discussions offline about this issue. Women are incensed by this lunacy. More will speak come election time, IMHO.

I don't think anything happened to Ford. I think she's lying about the whole thing. Ford's friend Leland is indicative of the left -- admittedly there's no evidence, but Leland believes Ford anyway.

We're a nation, ruled by 9, and this one if for all the marbles.

Actually its a '55, I screwed up. Yeah its off the charts, had a nice soft V shape neck. I remember the black top that Tom Whitrock had. It was originally black, and somebody sanded the top color off and there was the flame top from hell under it. The problem was you can see how the one pickup route got messed up at the factory, so it had to have a repair, and then they just painted it black.

decades ago in some Christian counseling class, I recall that point being big. People need to be told they are accountable for their actions ... and that past problems are not "an excuse". To say "oh I understand, you can't help it" ... doesn't help.

Competent to Counsel by Adams was the book, they called it "nouthetic counseling", but that is about the only thing I remember about it.

The social media post (below) claims Blasey-Ford previously allegedly admitted to being an alcoholic in high school and regretted, "being so easy," in high school. She is alleged to have told the best friend that she had 54 sexual partners between 11th grade and enrollment in college.
