that sounds right, iirc there was also talk of them trying to buy back the shoulder fired missiles that could take down airliners. Those came out of the armories after Soros/Hillary/Cameron recklessly expanded their little action in Benghazi into overthrowing Ghadaffi and the regime (which as promised/anticipated, threw open the doors for floods of mostly Muslim African/Middle Eastern terrorist aged men to flood Europe) Our involvement with all the factions and sub-factions is so complicated, even those deep in the Pentagon don't seem to know who is who. We tend to like "The Kurds", but they may be just an alliance of convenience (for them) ... some thought that Turkish coup would go our way, but it went Erdogan's way and he seems mostly intent on building their caliphate ... it's above my pay grade ... So there was some concept of build little al Aqaeda (ISIS) to fight Syria/Russia ... idk, but some neo-con (?) probably in the Pentagon was war gaming something, and McCain was their man on the Hill (imo). America was great until the globalists, socialists and liberals tried to transform it into something it wasn't, into an abomination of its true self.
We have a unique American culture, a nation of laws, Constitution, liberty, free markets and individual freedom. That for days we have watched a political spectacle where those same forces turned an alleged funeral into a rally for their lost cause is a disgrace. They made a man king for their cause and used his corpse as a platform to try and reinvigorate the anathema they've thrust upon our nation, that HE thrust upon our nation. Never again, and I'm tired of them declaring the partisan and political, sacrosanct because it suits their cause and an intellectual argument would once again leave them in the cold. Great point! America is not soccer where a great team maybe puts up 3 or 4 points on an ok team. America is football where you keep playing until the whistle blows. So in the Obama years you had soccer players running around flopping at every little touch and other playing hard on every play. At the end of it when everyone looked around about half the player were no better off (or even worse) and about half were way ahead. Notice every socialist idea is to equalize the players, not the playing field. Posted by: rhennigantx at September 02, 2018 08:03 AM (JFO2v) 177

I went online and found a place that sells plastic bags that when put into water dissolve away. We put the into those bags and tossed them into the lake nearby that they had lived by all their lives. I think my father and mother-in-law's ashes are still sitting in the boxes. Told my MiL about the teaching before she died. She didn't care. The talk about Nixon and Bush 41 made me think of Goldwater in 1964. All the familiar elements were there:
* The GOPe (then called "the Rockefeller wing") DID NOT WANT him. * He was vilified as a racist lunatic who was going to start WWIII. * The infamous "daisy" ad ran only once as an actual commercial, but was then shown over and over again and discussed endlessly on the "news" programs. So there was the MSM giving in-kind contributions to the Democrat. He lost the election, and then "the 60s" began in earnest, culminating in the leftist counterculture taking over American society. Somebody ought to write an alternative history in which Goldwater won the 1964 election. Posted by: rickl at September 02, 2018 08:30 AM (sdi6R) 228

So here's my experience today. Some lady was waiting on me in the supermarket and she had cross earrings, so i said would you like a Christian devotional? It was "The Upper Room" which I often post from. Her response "You people don't believe in the 5 cardinal doctrines" so i said "O.K.Have good day and left"I had never heard that specific phrase before "5 cardinal doctrines". I found out what they are which I do not have a problem with. All I can think of is that"You people" means that she thought I was a Jehovah's Witness and was handing out a "The Watchtower"
Guess i won't try to hand out anything to anyone wearing a cross or cross jewelry again. :^) Posted by: FenelonSpoke at September 02, 2018 09:12 AM (AllCR) 338

__________________ Did you know that McCain's injuries (two broken arms and a broken leg) happened because he failed to use the procedures he had been taught for ejecting? He panicked and ejected himself before he was in the proper position. He caused his own injuries. After he was rescued from the water by local Vietnamese villagers, he was not tortured as badly by the NVA as other captured U.S. pilot were, because of his injuries (and also because of his high-status value as Admiral McCain's son). Also, although McCain has long claimed that his plane was downed by a SAM, it was actually taken down by anti-aircraft artillery, which is documented in Navy records and also attested to by the airmen in the planes flying next to McCain's on the mission. So as long as we're waiting, can someone tell my why my Samsung tablet won't charge? Tried two cords...neither works. I get the charging lightning bolt over the battery but then a red X over that. It seems to charge, albeit slowly. If I turn it completely off it works better. Yes, I cleaned out the charging port. Posted by: creeper at September 02, 2018 09:08 AM (l0mIQ) If you get the little battery symbol with the lightning bolt on it it is charging. yes it will charge faster if it is off but you shouldn't have to do that. If you haven't killed it stone dead it should recharge in 2 hours. And BTW the charger that comes with it is not very powerful. If you have a Gal Tab A like mine it uses a standard USB-B connection unlike the Gal Tab II which uses a proprietary connection. I bought a three pack of these and they charge mine right up. http://tinyurl.com/yca8fpra Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at September 02, 2018 09:22 AM (mpXpK) 371

Okay, everybody has their assignments, right? You kids in first row hold this end of the rope, second row, hold the other end of the rope. When the shooter barges in, pull the rope tight at ankle level. Timmy, when he falls, put the plastic bucket over his head while Suzy hits the bucket with the hammer to disorient him. Fourth row, tape up his hands and feet.

From my experience in Noo Yawk, in places like subway stations, stores, etc. the only people who are evangelizing are JWs. They have racks of material attended by several Witnesses trying to pass out literature, so she probably automatically assumed that you are JW. I still think that was a bit rude - she could have asked for clarification on your position, and if she found she were talking to some JW, she should want to correct them against the Arian heresy.
