The Morning Report 6/11/18

yuuge.jpg

Good morning kids. The start of a new week and foreign policy is leading the news. First, the President has arrived in Singapore for what will be an historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, whom we have affectionately tagged as Whoa, Fat!. There is very little that we really know about this man who, along with his father and grandfather, have ruled over what is effectively a vast nation-sized gulag for the better part of nearly 70 years. Aside from brutalizing their own people as well as covertly and overtly aligning themselves with global bad actors around the world, they have been used as proxies by our key geopolitical rivals China and to a lesser extent Russia. Now, despite the saber rattling via missile launches at Japan and Hank Johnson's Tippy Island as well as repeated nuclear testing which were in no small part a way of testing the mettle of President Trump early on, Phatso is now signaling a willingness to scrap his nuke program and to have normalized relations with the RoK and the US.

So what's really going on here? From my perspective, two distinct possibilities are evident. First, PDT's unpredictability/bellicosity via his Twitter name-calling, so reviled by the smart-set elite globalists and in diametric opposition to the appeasement of Obama, Dubya and Clinton, has actually scared the husky-sized pants off of the corpulent commie and driven him to the negotiating table. Also, seeing the increase in prosperity in the lives of his puppet masters to his north as well as in Vietnam because of an introduction of free market policies (such as they may be in controlled economies), he feels he can retain power more readily by moving his people and armed forces off their dirt and tree bark diet and bring in some Kentucky Fried dirt and McTreebark McMuffins amongst other things. Or, along with the latter, maybe he senses his days of being propped up by the Chi-Coms and being a useful of not wildly unpredictable proxy are numbered and is truly wishing to join, however gradually and to whatever extent, the American sphere of political influence in the Far East. On the other side if the coin, maybe this is his way of mimicking PDT's unpredictability as either a means of duping him (as if) or his Chi-Com overlords. Perhaps it's a mix of all of these things.

One thing is crystal clear; no matter the outcome, just by holding this summit as well as the strategy that brought Whoa, Fat! to meet face to face on foreign soil with the President is a foreign policy triumph for the latter. No two ways about it. It flies in the face of the abject failures and fecklessness of the past three administrations and at least brings the potential for starting us on the path of deescalating a dangerous situation and changing the status quo that frankly the globalists have kept in place for so long. Congratulations, Mr. President and good luck.

Continuing in the realm of foreign relations, the summit comes on the heels of the G-7 Conference held last week in the city of Charlevoix in Quebec. Actually, as Don Surber notes (paraphrasing) it's really the G-1 plus 6 Dwarves summit. And yet, when the President announced his intentions to redress the historically unfair deals with these trading partners, Canadian PM Justin "Floppy Brezhnev Brow" Trudeau used the occasion to bash our President over the recent tariffs imposed on him by us. Of course the Democrat-Media complex had a melt down over PDT refusing to sign the joint communique, as well as wanting to readmit Russia to the G-7. But considering the state of our economy in relation to the rest of the world, as well as his follow-up Tweets about us footing the bill for NATO as well as not being the world's piggy bank anymore, I'd rate this as another success for PDT.

A couple of quick hits, Erdogan is making threats at Austria for closing radical mosques (pardon the redundancy) which is of course galling considering his shuttering of churches in Turkey, VP Pence is calling for USAID to cut the red tape to speed aid to Iraqi Christians and Yazidis and is PDT's desire to readmit Russia to the G-7 a signal for rapprochement, and is that desirable in the first place?

Meanwhile in free speech news, thousands of Brits took to the streets to demand freedom for Tommy Robinson while Calypso Louie Farrakhan has lost his blue check from Twitter for spreading Joo-hate. When has he not done that?

On to the Amnesty front where as reported last week the House GOP is still hot and horny to give its constituents - the Chamber of Commerce and K-Street Kronies - Amnesty for the DACAns and a pathway to Amnesty for the other 20-30 million illegal aliens already in country.

In Spygate news, Devin Nunes is threatening obstruction of justice charges if the DoJ does not hand over documents by tomorrow related to the FBI's spy/spies in the PDT campaign, the indictment against James Wolfe says he in fact leaked the anti Carter Page dossier garbage to the media and as this report is fair and balanced, we do have a defense of Jeff Sessionszzz. Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani is claiming that James "Elmer Gantry" Comey can be indicted and as more of the revelations of Obama's treasonous (yes, I said it) acts involving Iran are revealed, the latter are admitting that they were in fact involved in the 9/11 attacks by at minimum giving shelter to the terrorists at some point along the way. Pallets of cash gotta palletize.

Guns! May was the third month in a row for record firearm permits, normal Oregonians are mulling the Illinois "sanctuary" strategery for pursuing their second amendment rights and school administrators at Parkland knew for a long time that their insane policies left them vulnerable to a mass shooting. Little Shitler had no comment at press time.

On the domestic political front, convicted felon and bust-out proud Nazi collaborator George Soros is having the sads these days. His SJW candidate for DA in Sacramento got his ass kicked and he's moaning about how PDT has derailed all of his plans. Aww. No wonder; the President's job approval at this time in his presidency beats that of Obama's and GOP voter enthusiasm for the midterms is way up over Dems. And all of this comes on the heels on the close of a very good year for our side at the Supreme Court. And poor Bernardo Sandersnista just can't catch a break, as he'ss been screwed over yet again by the Democrat Party for his eyeing a 2020 run.

From hither and yon, as what's left of Obamacare is dismantled, Vermont is mulling mandatory health insurance for residents (I thought they had this already), and some analysis of Harry Blackmun's insanity in his Roe vs Wade ruling. Only the twisted mind of mental midget Bill Maher could wish for economic collapse and misery for 315 million people if it meant getting rid of PDT, Daniel Greenfield looks at where to find the revival of Zionist spirit, and lastly the soul-crushing ideology of the Left and how it crushed the life out of Anthony Bourdain.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

12 While speaking onstage at the Tony Awards on Sunday night, actor Robert De Niro went after President Donald Trump, saying, fuck Trump multiple times.

Im going to say one thing: fuck Trump, De Niro said before presenting an award. Its no longer down with Trump. Its fuck Trump.

24 I disagree with PDJT on tariffs, and I think Peter Navarro is a nut, what with his 9/11 weirdness and all. Also, the World Bank says Canada has lower average tariffs for the worlds goods than does the US, though you cannot tell from the data what the bilateral Canada/US situation is.

Having said all that, upsetting the G7 apple cart is something US unions have long wanted to do, hoping to renegotiate trade deals along better lines. PDJT ran and was elected with worker support and I say "Promises made, Promises kept" is the most valuable thing Trump can say going into the midterms and beyond. And he's certainly earned a lot of leeway because of his overwhelming level of success on the economy so far. I give Trump a pass on this stuff, until we see if it works or not.

40 Aside from a handful of stalwart holdouts, most of the Republican Party in Congress agrees that amnesty with citizenship will happen for DACA recipients. The split between moderates and conservatives seems to hang on whether an immigration compromise contains a "special pathway. Conservatives want to treat DACA recipients like normal immigrants, permitting them to use the current law to obtain citizenship, while moderates want to fast-track citizenship for them...

Instead, members of Congress can say one thing in private and another in public, sniping at each other and posing for political cred. Is the Freedom Caucus telling the truth? Are the moderates? No one knows because they refuse to have these debates in public, where they might upset voters by ignoring their immigration preferences.

    57 About that "feminist pr0n"...

...a group of German legislators who are aligned with the majority government, are pushing a law that would require the German people to fund the creation of anti-sexist pornography that features "fat, skinny, young and old people."

Germany's state run television networks ARD and ZDF would then broadcast the adult films to fight sexism on the ground.

Who better predicted this - Ayn Rand or Harrison Bergeron?

Guess it depends on whether you see it as unqualified (unsexy) people being given pr0no work, or the State's attempt to make everyone equal.

tariff on US cars) and triple digit tariffs (240% Canadian tariff on US
Dairy products) on US goods everyone goes totally ape$hit when Trump
announces an 11% tariff on Chinese steel.

    ----

I hadn't realized that NAFTA was a clever and devious approach to getting Chinese steel into "American made" cars that Ford and Chevy had outsourced to Mexico and Canada while still charging exactly the same for the product as before it was made for half the cost.

    Thanks a lot, Clinton.

127 I figure this started because Trudeau must have said one thing in private to Trump and another entirely in his public statement.

    ------------

Taking on Canada is always a smart political move. Their economy really isn't big enough in the grand scheme of things to matter. They really can't produce anything that we can't produce ourselves. And they basically fall under our nuclear umbrella and have to get the queen's approval for anything mighty, so they have no geopolitical leverage anyway.

Provoking a fight with the Canadians is way to score easy political points. Doubly so, when the counterpunch is coming from a "man" who ears fake eyelashes.

130 I think Trump thinks the real issue with Canada isn't dairy, it is that they are letting China transship steel to the US (through Canada) in order to evade tariffs. Canada lets Chinese steel in with low duties and then it gets sent to the US with essentially no duties or tariffs, per NAFTA, and the Chinese make out like bandits.

Maybe this has something to do with:

For all prior administrations the actual negotiations and agreements were willingly sub-contracted out to U.S. Chamber of Commerce delegations...

In exchange for control over the trade policy, the U.S. CoC pay the politicians. This is why the U.S. CoC is the biggest lobbyist (by far) in Washington DC. In essence, for three decades all prior administrations were allowing Wall Street to write the trade agreements...

SS has always been a ponzi scheme.
Back in the day, when it began, some old geezer signed up on day one and got benefits after a lifetime of never paying in. It was like 12 workers supporting on beneficiary. Key point, the first guy who ever got SS never really paid in over a lifetime of the program and the amount that a worker paid for that guy was a lot less.

Now we are down to like 3.5 workers supporting the benefits of 1 beneficiary because of expanding benefits and increasing life spans.

It was never a savings plan, 100% pure transfer of wealth.

326 Its taxed, yes, and its capped too. But as of now, everyone who pays it, gets it. Start means' testing people out of it, and watch the shit hit the fan. Because those who will be tested out, will also be those who paid in the most.

I'd pay to run fake ads from Democrats and Socialists advocating it.

327 239 Shame we don't have an (R) majority Senate and an (R) majority House that has had a decade to figure out a solution to send to an (R) president to sign.

Yes, I keep imagining what the country would be like if we had an actual Republican Party in the House, Senate, and White House for a term (or two)!"

It would be nice, and just to be clear, we do NOT have Conservative control of either body. Paul Ryan and the GOP-e run the house, and the only thing they're working on is how to pass amnesty before Ryan quits because he hates working with Trump.

And don't even get started on the Senate which is run by Corker and Flake and Schumer more than anyone else.

328 Why does the Left rely so much on foul language to make their points or show their outrage ?

From DeNiro to Maher, to Bee to the pink hat brigade,
its all about using shocking language.

Are there any on the right who resort to this ?

Posted by: McCool at June 11, 2018 09:34 AM (sZaoP)

    329 @285

At the end of the day, a homo can bake his own fucking cake.

This was never about baking a cake, or taking photographs.

The FagNazis picked a fucking pizzaria in the middle of nowhere Indiana to cater a wedding.

This was not about accommodation and recognition, this was about dominance, control and most of all...

    ...you will bend your knee.

These fuckers are not stopping, EVER, until they are made to stop.

What the fuck are you waiting for Kennedy?

    A change in the Senate?

    Asshole!!

If anyone messes with my Social security OR 401 K - it is armed rebellion/helicopter rides for liberals time. Frankly it is helicopter ride time for those people/politicians who even suggest it.

333 Can't wait for Mary to 'splain how wonderful mandatory health insurance payments (or tsk, tsk, looks like you owe a penalty, a fine, no it's a tax! -- just like MA did back aways) will be for the remote workers that are flocking there.
What a mess. Get government out of all the things.
Who am I kidding?. hangs head ;(
    Meanwhile, MediCare/MediCaid, well boy howdy.

So would obstruction f justice charges mean anything at this point? (Serious question) or will they just shrug and say "f^ck you Nunes".

336 Today I "unsubscribed" to emails from an expensive NYC store (I never shop in anyway) because of their ham-handed "Ghey Pride!" emails.

When you unsubscribe from someone's list they usually want some market research and its a good opportunity to tell them that I resent them putting their infantile, destructive identity politics in their ads.

I do this whenever I encounter SJWism targeted email ads.
Its a pretty costless way to register an opinion and I think it may help to get some in the "bubble" who never, ever think there's a cost to moar SJWism to maybe take another think.

    337 I'll go out on a limb:

Trump is going to be even more successful at this NK conference.

KJU and his sister will either demand immediate asylum or be killed by their own people (or China) in the process. In either case, they will not return to NK.

Backup prediction: KJU will not be the leader of NK in 2019 (dead or abdicated). There may not even be a NK in 2019.
