1 Good Morning Morons; today is Saturday, May 26, 2018. On this day in 1868 the Impeachment of Andrew Johnson ended with his acquittal by one vote. This impeachment was pure politics as well and it was the first.

5 Trump signed three more executive orders yesterday designed to drain the swamp. The first makes it easier to fire federal workers. The next two involve reigning in the federal employee's union. Federal employees must now spend at least 75% of their time working the job they were hired for instead of working for the union and he created a union working group to look at federal contracts and makes it harder for unions to appeal firings and lobby congress.

28 I used to have a great lawn that I had spent several years and a lot of money nursing into being. But one year I put out weed and feed fertilizer which was rock hard and clumped up. It kept clogging the spreader and then coming out in a rush in one spot. In those spots the grass was killed. I could have tried clearing those areas and starting over but since I put in the original lawn the county has jacked up the price of water supposedly due to a drought several years ago. Well the drought is long gone but the high water prices have remained.

It would cost me a fortune in water bills to bring in a new lawn now.

29 It was warm and dry for 6-8 weeks, unusually warm for spring. Now two days of rain and the rain forest has exploded with green growing things.

I'm not sure I can get the mower deck off the lawn tractor. Every year it gets more difficult. Every year I say that I can't keep doing it. But I'm not going to the old folks home without a fight.

I use Bayer 'All in One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass killer'. You hook your garden hose up to it and spray it where needed. Slow but steady kill rate near 100%. Best used early in season when crabgrass is just germinating. In other words, right now.

Fertilizer -- I use Milorganite. It's tough to over-apply and burn anything up. Slow dissolve, no need to water it in after applying. Smells like shit, because it used to be actual shit.

That's my garden tips for today.

The Flint river is normally about 100 yds wide at it's widest and slow moving. In places it was over three miles wide.

184 182 I've got deck cleaning on the menu this AM before it gets to hot. I did it 2 weeks ago with the power washer to get all of the winter crud off of it. Then the pollens from hell struck...and stuck. A simple hose rinse won't remove it, so I get to hook up the PW again. Not a big deal, I just hate to redo work.

I had read a number of years ago that the overwhelming majority of these shootings inside the school buildings occur in suburban schools where the attitude is "Oh, that could NEVER happen here." Compare that to the urban hell-hole schools: shootings don't occur inside the buildings (out in the parking lot in the middle of the night is a different matter) due to the heavy security at the building entrance(s).

The other issue to address is WHY these adolescent males feel so disconnected from their peers that the only perceived solution is to lash out in rage and kill. I have my suspicions: continuing breakdown in the nuclear family, cheapening of life by unquestioning support for all abortions and driving the Judeo-Christian Ethic out of the public sector. Of course, the Lefties don't want that conversation because they're responsible. Therefore, they want to divert attention to inanimate objects rather than the failings of their political philosophy.

True, but I bet a lot of those cases are happening where the father is not in that boy's life. Boys need a stable father-figure that shows them how to do "man stuff." Boys need to be taught how to channel all that pent-up energy.

236 This is my understanding of the illegitimacy or Muellers investigation:
The Special Prosecutor Act requires the investigation / prosecution of a crime, thus it presumes a criminal prosecution.

The Mueller investigation is not a criminal investigation, and does not specify a crime to be investigated. It is a Counterintelligence Investigation, a type which is not covered by the Special Prosecutor Act, and thus it has no basis in Law. It is a process of finding any possible crime that can be attributed to a target individual and then prosecuting them. If you wanted a definition a Witch Hunt, this is it.

This is the underpinning of Rosensteins refusal to reveal the charter of the Mueller investigation - it is illegal, and its illegality is being hidden from Congress and the American people, which in itself is a crime. Since AG Sessions is recused, he cannot order Rosenstein to cease this criminal behavior, so Rosenstein is hoist on his own petard, with no controlling authority to point to as having ordered him to commit this crime. He has no way to say * Just following orders * because he is not legitimately acting under anyone elses orders or within any legal framework other than one of his own invention.

The only unrecused authority that he is accountable to is the President, who is politically unable to order him to cease his lawbreaking.

The technical legal term to describe Rosensteins position is * fucked *.
