Obese Froghemoth April D. Ryan, Whose Overflowing Chinfat Resembles a Partially Deflated Donut Tire Fished Out of a Swamp, Trashes Melania Trump As Not "Culturally American"

You know, I don't disagree entirely -- I think you have to be in the country for quite a while before you're really fully American in the bones.

I also think you can be born and bred in America but choose to be culturally unamerican -- like Barack Obama is.

But I think April D. Ryan would shriek from the rooftops if one suggested that illegal aliens weren't "culturally American," even though they're neither legally American nor culturally American, and would scream murder if you observed that other legal recent arrivals aren't fully "culturally American," and she'd say that the idea of Barack Obama being intellectually/ideologically antiamerican was a racist Outrage so racist that she just can't even with the just can't evening.

Yet here she is accusing someone of a different race of not being "culturally American."

Must be great to be of the Privileged Caste that enjoys full speech rights.

Meanwhile, Melania's anti-bullying speech was greeted with, get this, media bullying.

People Magazine decides to euphemize this bullying as "roasting," despite the common definition of "roasting" being a friendly, convivial thing done to get laughs but not cut too deep. Usually it's done by friends or fans.

Plainly, the media is neither friend nor fan of Melania Trump.

The media is calling out Melania for failing to mention her husband's "bullying" of the media -- but the media seems to fail just as hard at mentioning its own constant 24/7/364 bullying.

Oh wait -- it's "roasting" when they do it. Or "speaking truth to power," despite the media being extremely powerful.

And speaking of not being culturally American -- Hillary Clinton made a joke that wasn't really a joke that she had given "serious thought" to leaving America. People make "jokes" about things they can't say seriously a lot, and we know Hillary Clinton's extremely uncharitable estimation of the American people -- she has a new outburst about how awful we are every week.

28 I really liked your post awhile ago about "what aboutism". I get so frustrated at the constant bias and hypocrisy of the media and the self-proclaimed "elites". I love how Trump is able to change the narrative - the "Fake News" label. I just wish every time that this stuff happened we (the deplorables) could effectively slam them on their own turf. But we (the deplorables and the nevertrumpers) are conditioned to give people the benefit of the doubt. In this case, Ms. Ryan is just trying to kindly point out how Melania didn't grow up in the US. It just kills me especially since they kept trying to make Michelle happen and Melania is everything (except conservative) they say a woman should be...

The big reveal from today's Bongino podcast was his interpretation of a Andy McCarthy column about the Flynn case that seema to contain info that there probably was another illegal FISA warrant against just Flynn in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Which leads to the interesting question: just how many illegal FISA warrants were obtained by Obama to spy on Trump folks?

And when do we get to execute the motherfuckers who obtained those warrants?

Posted by: Deplorable Ian Galt

I was away for a bit, so I'm answering this question here.

Local groups of members are organized into Wards or Branches. A Branch is typically fewer than 150 people and a Ward is 150 - 500 people.

Branch groups are organized into Districts and typically a Stake is five or more Wards grouped together into a contiguous geographical area.

The name Stake comes from several scriptures that refer to Zion allegorically as a tent with stakes.

So there are two inflection points.

The plan was to drive his poll number down low enough so that they could impeach him on BS and there wouldn't be much blow back. That's one inflection point. Say an approval rating in the 20's. That the point at which they are comfortable moving ahead with their plans.

The second inflection point is when his popularity number goes very much above 50%. Why? Because then they risk him becoming so popular they won't be able to pull it off. And they have to pull it off. Have to. If things continue to go well for the Donald, its going to get even weirder than it is already.

In the war of 1812, American ships sunk or took like 12 British ships in a row. The US finally lost the Chesapeake battle against the Shannon but it was a very close fight against a brilliant captain. The British took our navy very seriously after that.

Turns out having all the wood you'll ever want, plus most of the best designers in Europe fleeing for freedom in the USA works out well for ship design. The US became the world's finest ship designers to this day, with the Clipper Ship coming straight out of US dockyards and setting sailing records that to this day have never been broken.

================================

The USS Chesapeake vs Shannon engagement was damn close. Though the HMS Shannon's Broke was a superb gunnery officer, I think the deciding factor was that the Chesapeake's hull was constructed with white pine instead of the typical oak. When struck by solid shot, pine shatters and splinters in large, sharp pieces. Oak, not nearly as much. The Chesapeake's crew was literally torn to pieces by the splinters. The captured Chesapeake was sent to England, where it was condemned by the Royal Navy and broken up.

375 The USS Chesapeake vs Shannon engagement was damn close.

Also, growing up in Indonesia, on Friday nights as we gathered round a nice plump, roasting dog, we would remark to each other how little difference there is, really, between America and the global village.

But I must correct you on one small point, Ace: It's not that I am unamerican; I am future American.

A woman accused Counts and Perry, then 19- and 21-years-old, of kidnapping her from her home and taking turns raping her in Central Park.

As it turns out, the woman knew Counts and Perry and lied about being raped at the instruction of her boyfriend at the time, who, District Attorney Cyrus Vance said, "was trying to avoid paying a debt to these two men."

464 What as the US's first battleship? Something in WWI? They didn't
bother with ships of the line early on as far as I know, too expensive
and useless for our purposes of blockade breaking and sniping smaller
ships.
==============================

The US was considering 74-gun SOLs soon after the War of Independence, but though plans were drawn for them (the USS Independence and the Franklin), nothing much happened. During the Quasi War with France, the Adams administration secured funds for building 74s (IIRC two or three). State of the art designs, too, for long endurance and speed. The hull materials were procured and the frames assembled. After things settled down with France, construction stopped and the frames were stored in sea. Thomas Jefferson hated the idea of a blue-water navy and ordered the SOL frames to be converted into his gunboats, which was done. The gunboats, of course were practically useless for breaking the British blockade during the War of 1812.

=================================
Before the War of 1812, the thought that the US would build -any- SOLs greatly concerned the British Admiralty. England was stretched to the limit blockading French-held Europe. A hostile US sending out even one or two frigate squadrons with a SOL would imperil English supply lines, because the normal frigate-sloop convoy escorts would be insufficient to protect the merchant ships. And to guarantee a British battleship victory would require at least TWO RN SOLs on-station to blockade a port that held a US 74. The Brits didn't have enough ships for that.

Ah but the Romans built the roads and conquered all or Europe and Asia Minor
Moral of the story is!

Every civilization has been conquered and enslaved. Their women's panties have been pillaged and plundered. It is ONLY African Americans that have been truly been freed by our Grand Experiment we call the constitution. The call for reparations has been renewed but what have we been paying in the form of welfare since before El-BJ and Bill Moyer's Great Society?? Literally train loads of cash have been delivered to the inner cities and every form of 'program' and 'study has been bought and paid for. The devolution of a large portion African American society and culture into the deepest depths of lawlessness and violence is what this government has produced. Trump is slowly building his brand among Blacks and hopefully heals the wounds that Dems keep tearing the scabs off.
