Office of Inspector General Issues Criminal Referral on Andrew McCabe

The Justice Department's internal watchdog has sent a criminal referral for fired FBI official Andrew McCabe to the U.S. attorney's office in Washington.
The move follows a recent DOJ inspector general report that found McCabe leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to then-Director James Comey and federal investigators, prompting Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire him on March 16.
A source confirmed to Fox News that the referral was sent.

So let it drip out slowly...let people get used to idea and prepare for it...so it won't be like a sonic boom.

my guess is that for mccabe the big concern is money. does he lose his pension if he gets convicted criminally? he will certainly lose his ability to land positions with big fat salaries, fees, stipends, whatever if he spends time in the greybar hotel. if he is lucky he will get a book deal when he gets out but that will not be enough to cover his legal fees.

This is just one issue having to do with McCabe leaking and lying about it for personal gain. In this case, Comey might actually be telling the truth.

But it doesn't address Comey's leaking of classified material, his involvement with covering up Hillary's email investigation, his conflict with Loretta Lynch or his involvement in starting the bogus investigation into Carter Page including the FISA warrant based on what he knew at the time was Clinton campaign material.

It also doesn't deal with the FISC court's report that laid out that the FBI was knowingly misusing the 702 process for years, even giving non-governemt personnel access to raw, unmasked intel.

We are still at the beginning of a very long game.

Yes I mentioned that one last week when asking the same question. He wasn't charged with lacking candor, however. He was charged with perjury and obstruction of justice.
