Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Office of Inspector General Issues Criminal Referral on Andrew McCabeGoFundMyPrisonCafeteriaAccount. The Justice Department's internal watchdog has sent a criminal referral for fired FBI official Andrew McCabe to the U.S. attorney's office in Washington. The move follows a recent DOJ inspector general report that found McCabe leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to then-Director James Comey and federal investigators, prompting Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire him on March 16. A source confirmed to Fox News that the referral was sent. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

I think McCabe's case is one that people are watching and waiting on. At some level people can understand, if not agree with or like, the idea of people being so powerful and so connected they are essentially untouchable. But if you let someone like McCabe slide? This is not the IG report. This is a specific criminal referral having to do with the reason for McCabe's termination. The IG report and other investigations are ongoing and there are plenty of other targets. Do you really think Comey is doing this clown show book tour just for the money? This is just one issue having to do with McCabe leaking and lying about it for personal gain. In this case, Comey might actually be telling the truth. But it doesn't address Comey's leaking of classified material, his involvement with covering up Hillary's email investigation, his conflict with Loretta Lynch or his involvement in starting the bogus investigation into Carter Page including the FISA warrant based on what he knew at the time was Clinton campaign material. It also doesn't deal with the FISC court's report that laid out that the FBI was knowingly misusing the 702 process for years, even giving non-governemt personnel access to raw, unmasked intel. Well for one thing they wanted to use the facilities and refused to buy anything, which kind of annoys managers. In the end, there was no good way to handle this: either you get horrendous publicity, or you establish precedent that anyone can just come in and treat your business like a homeless shelter. Starbucks doesn't care if you stay a long time if you order something. I doesn't even have to be much. But no business likes someone to just show up, take a table and just hang out for hours. No. History shows the markets do not like uncertainty. If you already have a divided country that feels robbed of the presidency and then you indict these people in a sudden Boom, and you get street riots and violence...that depresses everything. So no. Totally disagree.
Our forefathers knew this too. 3 branches of government to hold each other accountable. Policy and procedure. It may be long and drawn out but that helps people adapt and not meltdown. Posted by: prof disarray, gumdrop gorilla channel at April 19, 2018 05:11 PM (UXHfL) I get it about stability. However, it is clear that these little savage people melting down will melt down over *everything* and *anything*, and even fabricate reasons to melt down. Perhaps, just like Trump re-negotiating the trade deals, there is an initial panic and downturn in the markets, because of these little savages melting down, but just like the market now, it will come back when the end results are favorable, just like the trade results, so far, have been. Apparently McCabe is very rich.
Some one said $11 or 12 million. He's probably not afraid of having to sell his house and live in a trailer park to pay the lawyers. Posted by: Margarita DeVille at April comey is worth about that much but the sourcing on mccabe being worth that much is not very reliable. comey took some time off to have a very profitable private career. mccabe did not do the same. besides, sometimes the guys with the most to lose are the least likely to chance losing it. I do too. Not because he's not obviously guilty, but because he's so lightweight. Lack of candor is an FBI term of art that covers a broad range of lying.
Call it whatever you want, lying to a federal agent under oath is a felony, each occurrence carrying a maximum of 5 years in prison. McCabe is charged with 3 counts of lack of candor. Posted by: JackStraw at April 19, 2018 05:33 PM (/tuJf) 381

--- Racial sensitivity training includes confession of one's personal sins. Some people have a lot of confessing to do to clear their burden of guilt and recover their virtue.
