The composition is good here. Girl occupies the middle third. Boy fits PERFECTLY in the center-right square. Baskets in the bottom-left. Creek runs across the middle squares.

The vampire from yesterday fit in the Tic Tac Toe Board too ... but that painting was just friggin' weird.

75 I really like the way he captured the light dappling the ground and the quality of the bright shade under the trees. The various green hues blend well with the yellows and the light colors of the clothing. It is a relaxing scene despite the labor.

La Thangue was British but his paintings remind me of the Scandi artists we've seen in the last few weeks. That is a good thing.

Have some errands to run. BBL.

A revised Second Amendment could read: "The right to bear arms for
hunting, sport and recreation being a cherished and time-honored
tradition, the exercise of this right by responsible persons for these
purposes shall not be infringed"

224 Drudge has Ann Coulter link up in which she bemoans Trump's signing of the Omnibus Crap Sandwich; she is especially upset at the failure to build a wall. She is expecting he will fail completely on immigration generally. She is starting to call him names.

Of all the failures embodied in the Omnibus it's this one that has the potential to do Trump the most political damage. He really needs to find a way to build the wall, even if the GOPe defeats him on spending. Even though I'm much more pro-immigration than most here, I am very worried Trump is going to lose a lot of political credibility if he fails to deliver the wall.

He refused to apologize for the treatment of Native Indian kids/teens in Canada's "Residential" boarding schools (from the very late Victorian Era to the '60s -- all Christian denominations) that the Left has used to attack whitey, colonialism, and to get money for over the past 30 years. (Any Aussies reading this should recognize the same 'stolen generation' b.s. from Down Under.)

BTW, the assholes and their lawyers have already been paid by the taxpayers and the various Churches a long time ago so I guess a dollar doesn't go as far nowadays for solvent huffing as it used to.

309 213 If they think they can get 2/3 of the House and Senate to compose an amendment to repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment and then get 3/4 of the States to approve it, they should go for it. Let's get this party started.

Posted by: Sebastian Melmoth at March 28, 2018 10:13 AM (r7qNw)

>>>

The Leftists expected the "take the guns away" party would be starting soon, without any Constitutional changes, if Hill had been elected.

Two anti-gun SCOTUS picks by Hill would have tipped the balance: The three current female Justices already believe the 2nd Amendment means militia control of guns, not private citizen ownership and control. All that was needed was 5 super-liberal Justices, and a state law from CA or MA or somewhere banning non-militia-controlled (not in an arsenal) firearms, to get to SCOTUS for review. Presto: 2nd Amendment effectively gutted: All gun owners can keep ownership, as long as they join a formal state militia and store their guns at state-run militia arsenals. Oh sure, you can take your gun to go hunting, as long as you have the arsenal commander's permission to check it out for a few days. (There will be woe and damnation upon anyone who loses their gun in a "canoe accident.")

This is another reason the Leftists wanted Hill so bad and are still in shock - they had dreams of what a Leftist-majority SCOTUS could do to advance their agenda, no matter how many R's there were in Congress, state legislatures, and county courthouses.

What has she done since law school other than a brief stint as a clerk? I used to be a fan of Coulter, but it is apparent that she uses the "sky is falling" schtick to feather her nest only. And she needs to take note that the left and academia loathe her, and she is doing everything possible to alienate her readers. Yes all are there for ratings and money.

What have any conservative pundits done?

Ben Shapiro?
Ann Coulter?
The NRO buttbois?
Ace?
Rush?

They entertain, inform and make you feelngood in exchange for your attention which they sell to advertisers.

Most of them have probably never laid down a welding bead or operated an overhead crane (cept maybe Hannity).

For me, Shapiro stopped doing that when he began his forever hunt for Michelle Fields lost arm in NeverEver TrumpLand.

NRO buttbois has been derping hard for a while, but if I ever need a personal lubricant recommendation I know their wives can put me in touch with expert Paolo.

Even when I don't agree with Ace, he's entertaining and so is the Horde.

Same with Coulter.
