As reports emerged Thursday that an internal investigation by the Central Intelligence Agency’s inspector general found that the CIA "improperly" spied on US Senate staffers when researching the CIA's dark history of torture, it was hard to conclude anything but the obvious: John Brennan blatantly lied to the American public. Lest we forget, Brennan’s most recent false statement is not his first James Clapper-esque experiment in misinformation. The nation’s top spy is, in fact, a proficient and skilled liar. As Obama's top counterterrorism advisor for his entire first term in the White House, Brennan built, oversaw, executed and excused America’s robotic assassination program. During a speech in 2011, the keeper of the kill list said there had not been "a single collateral death" from US drone strikes because of their "exceptional proficiency [and] precision". ... Internal intelligence documents leaked to McClatchy later confirmed Brennan to have lied at the time, not to mention the countless media reports before and since documenting other cases of US drone strikes killing civilians.
Remember, the Washington Consensus smuggishly lectured you that not only was there no partisan Deep State, but that such a thing was altogether unthinkable. .You know that for a fact? Not trying to start an argument, but there were literally dozens of people on here Friday that said Sessions would never fire mccabe but here we are.
I think the dominoes have started falling and mccabe was the first and he will be charged criminally in the near future. Not saying he will get convicted and actually lose his pension, but the ball has started rolling IMO.
As far as offering him a job and getting his pension next week, that is not going to happen.

Getting fired by the FBI is incredibly difficult. Its a multi-phased process that is reviewed by multiple groups.
McCabe was fired for lying to federal agents under oath. The exact same thing he got Flynn for (irony alert). It wasn't Sessions who made that determination, it was the ethics people at the FBI. And this is just what was needed to get him fired, it doesn't include the crimes that anyone who has been following this even a little knows he committed.
I would think that after a moment of reflection off twitter even a dumb shit like Luis Gutierrez might realize offering to hire a soon to be felon might not be a terribly good idea.

I'm of the opinion she's been talking to the OIG, or the DoJ about all the "by the book" goings on at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. She strikes me as not terribly bright, afraid of going to PMITA prison and willing to do about anything to save her own ass.
She was up to her neck, along with Samantha Power in the "unmasking" of US citizens. She may have traded that offence for dirt on the others (Brennen, Clapper, et al.) They're angry that their plans have been thwarted, and are lashing out. I've never seen Susan Rice "lash out" at anyone. Lie like a rug, yes.

I agree she isn't very bright. She spoke at one of my daughters graduation ceremonies and opened by telling the stadium full of students, proud parents and grandparents her story of having sex with her future husband on that very spot while in college. Mind-blower.

Its not inconceivable that by 2020, President Trump will have replaced two more supreme court justices. I don't doubt that with the second, the left will be actively rushing the white house with bomb vests on to stop him. Three more? And we have a completely different future.
Sotomayor, Kennedy, and Ginsberg down means the court suddenly is 5-2 sane-insane. And that's not inconceivable by 2024. Six years is a long time for Ginsberg to hold out when she can barely stay awake now.
Even Roberts can't stop that kind of momentum, assuming the picks are solid.
