The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

It seems the elites simply refuse to think about the Trump presidency through any lens other than that of traditional Washington – despite the fact that President Trump has never been a part of (and represents a departure from) the traditional establishment. This confused, square peg-round hole analytical approach is made worse by the fact that the elites then try to use Washington jargon to define and attack the president. Newt Gingrich

Quote II

"The beginning of the end of a civilization starts when average citizens begin to notice that in every aspect of their daily lives they are confronted with laws, rules, and regulations that make absolutely no sense, don't improve their lives, and quite obviously benefit someone else!" J. Alex King (2001)

Quote III

“If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years there'd be a shortage of sand.” Milton Friedman

Quote IV

My favorite thing about the gun control debate in America is that the exact same people who insist that buying a gun at a store, which at a minimum requires a government-issued ID and background check, is too easy will also tell you that requiring an ID to vote is an impossibly high hurdle to expect average people to overcome. Have I improved my significant other? Probably not. Has she improved me? I believe so. Most people think that they have improved their significant other.

Nine out of ten people in relationships believe they have made “improvements” to their partner, according to new research.

A study looking into the relationships of 2,000 Americans found the vast majority think they have in some way developed their partner for the better — whether in their diet, their fashion sense or improving their tidiness and cleanliness.

In fact, three out of four people think they are an entirely different person now than before they met their partner — and the vast majority believe the change is for the better.

United Airlines had its third dog-related mishap this week, following up on the death of a puppy its flight attendants allegedly insisted be stuffed in an overhead bin and the accidental shipment of another dog to Japan by putting a third dog in the wrong plane.

Per the Washington Post, a United flight from Newark, New Jersey, to St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday was diverted due to the presence of a dog that should have been put onto a different flight to Akron, Ohio. CNN reported that at least 33 passengers were on the flight, all of whom were given an undisclosed amount of compensation for the diversion.

Sinatra? Yes. United Airlines? No.

Is there a flicker, an ever so faint flicker of sanity in California? Sane and rational citizens are pushing back against the lunacy of "Open Borders".

Not everyone in California is a liberal extremist or radical, open borders fanatic. In fact, there has been a movement around for years in Northern California to create a 51st state called "Jefferson." The area is far more conservative with traditional values and its economic interests - mining, timber, and fishing - is heavily regulated by the state. But the idea of a new state carved out of Northern California is probably a pipe dream at this point.

As a teenager, I couldn't wait to get my driver's license and first car. My. How times have changed. Millennial Snowflake can't wait for driverless cars.

Yet, on the other hand, driving is often the first sense of adult-like freedom that most people get. Anyone with a license to drive remembers the first time they got into a car by themselves and pulled onto the open road. It’s hard to imagine a world where we can’t hop into our car, turn the radio up, and cruise our woes away. But it’s necessary.

Anyone who has ever been addicted to tobacco remembers the first time they smoked a cigarette. As an adult over the age of 18 it’s your right to choose to smoke cigarettes, but there’s a reason why (in the US, at least) you’re no longer allowed to do so publicly in most places.

Piss off.

So are we really ready for self driving cars?

TEMPE - Tempe police are investigating a deadly crash involving a self-driving Uber vehicle overnight.

The crash occurred near Mill Avenue and Curry Road around 10 p.m. Sunday night.

The Uber vehicle was reportedly headed northbound when a woman walking outside of the crosswalk was struck.

The woman, identified as 49-year-old Elaine Herzberg, was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

Not so fast Special Snowflakes. The internal combustion engine and cars with drivers aren't dead yet.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD—A Wednesday morning panel at the ARPA-E summit provocatively asked if the auto industry is about to see ”The End of the Road for the Internal Combustion Engine?”

Though all the panel members agreed that gas- and diesel-based systems are on a path to losing market share, none would admit that the internal combustion engine (ICE) would be completely replaced by the electric vehicle (EV). At least before 2050. So what do industry leaders think will happen or should happen to the evolution of drivetrains in the future?

Does a lower “total cost of ownership” boost electric car sales?
Perhaps the most interesting perspective came from Amitai Bin-Nun, a vice president in charge of autonomous vehicle innovation for the nonprofit Securing America’s Future Energy, or SAFE. Bin-Nun argued that, without a transition to autonomous vehicles, EVs would not see the mass-market adoption that boosters have been hoping for

Technology continues to march forward. It's tiny, but it is a start. 3D printed homes.

What if you could build an affordable home in 24 hours or less? It may seem farfetched, but ICON is making that dream a reality, in a move that could help provide relief to the 1.2 billion people worldwide who find themselves without proper housing. And it's all thanks to 3D printing technology.

The startup revealed its plans at SXSW, demonstrating how they are able to create a single-story 650-square-foot cement house in just 12 to 24 hours. Their model house in Austin has a rounded facade with a wrap around porch for even more square footage. The interior has a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and the company's specially designed Vulcan printer has the capability to print even larger dwellings up to 800 square feet. Jason Ballard, one of ICON's co-founders, plans on using the model home as an office in order to test the environment for liveability.

The ONT Musical Interlude

March 19, 1982, Ozzy Osbourne guitarist and former Quiet Riot member Randy Rhoads was killed when the plane he was riding in crashed. After driving much of the night, the band had stopped near a small airstrip. The tour bus driver, Andrew Aycock, talked the band's keyboardist, Don Airey, into taking a test flight in a '55 Beechcraft Bonanza, the joyride ended, and the plane landed safely. Then Aycock took Rhoads and Rachel Youngblood on another flight and attempts were made to "buzz" the tour bus. The left wing clipped the bus, which sent the plane spiralling into a nearby house and bursting into flames. All three bodies were burned beyond recognition, and were identified by dental records. via thisdayinmusic.com

Why does a dog lick its balls testicles? Because it can. Why is the TSA snooping into digital devices? Because it can.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents have increasingly searched digital devices carried by travelers on international flights, as they look for data in cellphones, laptops and other electronic gadgets that can provide clues to possible terrorist attacks.

Now, the American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit against the Transportation Security Administration demanding to know why TSA security officers also are looking at data stored in digital devices carried by passengers on domestic flights.

"The power to tax is the power to destroy." Seattle and their failed gun tax revenue.

Seattle’s “gun violence tax” revenue has once again failed to meet predictions, demonstrating once again that this was really a thinly disguised gun control scheme that was sold to the public as an effort to reduce so-called “gun violence,” the Second Amendment Foundation said today.

Figures released by the city under a Public Records Act request by the senior editor of SAF’s monthly magazine TheGunMag.com show the city collected $93,220.74 last year, a decline of nearly $10,000 from the amount collected in 2016 and far below the $300,000 to $500,000 revenue originally predicted by its proponents on the Seattle City Council when the tax was hastily passed almost three years ago.

No word if she had to walk up hill both ways. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

After waking at her snow-covered home in Glasgow, Lindsey Chisholm realized she couldn't drive to her hospital eight miles away where she was scheduled to operate on a colon cancer patient.

So, Chisholm put on her winter gear and trekked through the snow for nearly three hours.

"I got up early on Thursday morning, saw there was quite a lot of snow but it didn't look impossible," Chisholm told BBC.

Other things I don't get:

* electric vehicles - they make no sense from any angle, excepting perhaps fleet vehicles, buses, in congested urban areas, in summer-time (emissions)

* driverless cars - again with a few niche areas aside, WTF? No great reason for them, the costs and drawbacks are enormous

I see all these things pretty much the same way I see O-care, solar power for the grid, etc. Economically infeasible/wasteful ideas that respond to no existing problem.

Posted by: Cicero Boom chicka boom Kaboom! Kid,

My understanding is that small dogs can go on the passenger compartment if they are in a carrier that fits under the seat. I've never heard of a dog going in the overhead bin. Larger dogs have to go in cargo.
I wouldn't fly with a dog. I've never owned a dog small enough to go under a seat, and small dogs can be yappy. Not nice for other passengers. I don't trust cargo. I assume there may be temperature extremes, and look at all the problems of lost baggage. I don't trust airline employees with putting my dog in cargo.

110 That Marxist trick of claiming that men speaking up for men and trying to help men while pointing out the biological and psychological differences in men and women as Men hating Women is effective. The He-Man Woman Haters club. The premise that men hate women is so retarded I can't even believe we have to deal with it. Men have a out group preference and are biologically and psychologically hardwired to protect women over men.

It's interesting that men can discuss our own natures that need to be curbed and channeled for the survival of our society amd civilization, but as soon as women's natured are discussed, all men hate women.

I'm of the Mimdset that feminists broke it and they will have a impossible job of fixing Western Civilization because most men won't help unless they are from shithole countries..... And maybe that is part of the endgame for Marxists.

I guess that's the price I pay for falling in love.

When the greatest loads were the dead loads, you'd think they would have accounted for that in the erection plans. What genius approved this at the city level? Where were the inspectors?

And really, I think that was serious overkill. Seems to me they could have installed the trusses and come back to do the slabs, i.e. the heavy part, once the trusses were secure and inspected.

The whole setup seems bizarre to me. And now it's deadly.

210 I'm going to describe something that happened Sunday. Tell me what you think.

So, was in Wal-Mart with the wife and our 8 yr old boy. Wife had gone off to look at women stuff and we went over and were getting some T-shirts for the boy. There was an older guy hanging out in the same section but I really didn't pay much attention to him as we walked past heading to our next destination, the cat food section, which is a bit of a distance away.

So, we get the cat food, and as we are walking out of there heading to the next item we were after (USB stick), which is actually backtracking a bit back towards were we were before, I see the same dude again in our aisle.

So, getting the USB key in the audio / video section, out of the corner of my eye I see the same dude behind us again. Now at this point I'm starting to wonder what he's doing. He has no cart, no basket, and is carrying nothing but his phone, which he appears to be talking to someone.

We shift over 4 or 5 aisles to the DVD's so my boy can look for one he likes, and the same dude is still hovering nearby. At this point I'm keeping my eye on him. About this time the wife shows up and I'm looking at her, and when I look back the guy has disappeared.

So, Paranoia or was this guy acting hinky?

219 55 Like Cicero kaboom kid, I have never understood how/why animals were allowed in the passenger compartment of airliners. After decades (well, the entire history of the industry, i.e. forever) in which this was not done, for lots of obvious reasons.

We found an injured, starving, dehydrated puppy dumped in the desert when we were on vacation in NM. When I scoped up that sweet baby and she licked my chin, I knew I was bringing her home, even if I had to take the bus. Thankfully, SW Airlines would let us bring her with a vet check, shots and in an approved carrier that would fit under the seat in front of us. We found a vet, got her shots and cerificate for travel, paid the fee, bought a carrier in the middle of the night at a Walmart out in the sticks, and brought her safely home. She slept all the way, and noone knew we had a puppy on board until a stewardess kicked her by mistake and she yelped. Then the people around us all wanted to pet her, but we left her tucked away laying down in her little carrier stuffed under the seat all the way home. SW Airlines was great, everyone was super nice to us, and we got the best...and luckiest...puppy ever!

224 @180 You would think that if coastal California was as smart, rich and productive as they say they are, they would welcome cutting loose the inland losers and parasites.
-----------------------

If Coastal California were to do that, then the coastal areas would lose access to that sweet, sweet water that they get from California's mountains (and the Colorado river). Inland residents might start using it to do something drastic and awful, like sending it to the Central Valley instead.

239 That whole 3-d printed house? Could be made just as easily without all the tech, and probably cheaper.

It is just cookie cutter housing, much like mobile homes in the '50s. The article doesn't talk about the actual buidling materials, and I'm quite sure the roofs and window casings, etc. are not printed. There's still a heck of a lot of construction work to do once the shell has been "printed."

You still have to move the printer machinery, the tubs of goo that it squirts, and then all the construction materials that aren't printed, so I doubt there's much of a cost advantage. Nothing is going to print your plumbing or your wiring or put on roofing.

I'd have to see a lot more to make me thing it is anything but a gimmick.

Well, I mostly just fell out of it, got laid off from a great place I had worked for 12 years (thanks, Obama!), and discovered I couldn't find another architecture job that would be part time. They just don't exist, but I have a boy to raise, so...

I ran a Church Religious Ed program for a few years, so that I could work while the boy was in school and be done when he was. It didn't pay for squat, but it was good for my soul and that of about 150 kids K-11. Then that petered out, and we moved back to AK, and I worked at a soap factory for a bit, and now I'm the plans room lady at the DOT. So, back to architecture, but more engineering, and just as the clerk, not the designer or producer. My hand is still in.

I do some odd projects for folks now and again, nothing that requires a stamp or registration, because of the cost of E&O insurance, but a bit here and there. Did a mother-in-law cottage for a friend in CA, a few house expansions, even some yard and garden designs.

Mostly, I guess it is a question of focus. I loved being an architect, and I love raising my kid, and I love being a wife and mom, and there are lots of things that define me outside of the profession. Architecture is still there, and so am I.

I suppose you need to figure out what defines you, or who does. My relationship with the Lord is a big part of it, plus family, extended and close. That doesn't change no matter what job I do.

Yup, when cars come off the new roundablut 41 to use Fruitville to get to the 75 freeway, they'll create a bottleneck so the lefties who run the city can please some "smart growth" activists who want bike lanes for a geriatric population who can't pedal along in 95 degree weather in 95 degree humidity and will still use their cars until bicycles are air conditioned.

So fucking glad I live in the county.

From what I could see in a short film clip that showed a rendering of the structure, the tower was offset. It looked like it was to be right at the point where the bridge initiated failure.

That was my major in engineering school, getting a BSCE. Structural, with the emphasis on concrete. I cannot imagine the idiots thinking the bridge could be set and the suspension added after.

294 276 remember, over-promoted girlgeneers have long been underrepresented in the building important shit field which has long been dominated by...yuckj...white men with STEM degrees and pocket protectors. So, the real tragedy would be if a we lose girl engineer feel goods. Unless we count up the victims and there's a muslim or a tranny that died, then we can talk.

Y'know what? Piss off.

I know and have worked with many talented and capable women in architecture and engineering, none of whom would have been party to the crap that produced that bridge.

I have my doubts it was the engineering that ruined it, but I don't know that for certain.

You can bet there were issues with the contractor, and certainly with the inspectors, but before you go maligning women in STEM, you will have to go through me and any number of other 'ettes.

When I started out as a young architect in the 1980's, I was called all sorts of endearing things like "that little filly" and "that young girl." Do you really think that, were I stupid or incompetent, I could have stuck with it? Most women in STEM are there because they have interest and aptitude. And I've met any number of male idiots in the field as well.

Jacksonville State had significant damage. They are showing a shot of Logan Hall - the roof blew off. Thankfully, the kids are on Spring Break this week, per reporting. It looks pretty bad, but I haven't heard of any confirmations of deaths, so it could have been much worse. The April 27th 2011 outbreak of 29 tornados killed some 238 across the state, injuring about 2000 people. That was horrific.

321 I switched departments a few years ago at work, and one of the main criticisms that my new supervisor has had of me since then is that I don't look "professional" in the way I dress. My overall style wasn't a problem, just some of the details.

As a result, I moved all my easily-wrinkled shirts out of everyday use.

But just today, I was made aware of another issue on that front. I got on the elevator with one of the more nosy and gossipy secretaries in my office, and she said, "Hey, you've been losing weight! Your clothes are just hanging off of you."

She's right; I was gaining weight for a while, and had to start buying bigger clothes, and now I've lost that extra weight. I'm back to being a fairly tall and skinny guy with ridiculously long arms and legs and a tiny waist. But I still have clothes sized for that bigger size that I used to be.

It's so hard to find to clothes that fit my weird build, especially after I was closer to a "normal" build a few years ago and then just lost it.

Lots of ads on teevee, mainly on Fox Snooze, for "app" based custom tailoring~e-mail order clothes. But, I've completely forgotten the name they're operating under.

Way it works, basically. You download the app, then use your phone to take selfies (or have someone else photograph you), and their software accounts for an incredible number of measurements, such as chest, waist, forearm length, bicep diameter, neck diameter and height, and 100s of "etc."s

Then you select styles, fabrics, colors, quantities, and a few days later, voila.... custom fitted duds on your doorstep.

Might be worth a try?

Certainly, reading the resulting Moron Review would be a highlight!

I'd appreciate a prayer for my best friends parents. The father has cancer and now he has a bed sore that is a staph infection. He has been hospitalized for 10 days. The chemo pill is making his wounds not heal. The wife is upset because he signed a DNR. He is 85 and in a lot of pain. It's very sad.
They have been married for 60 years and have 7 children.
They have cleaned the wound and tomorrow they are putting a "flap" on the wound.

I'm praying for the family and any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

334 Rick v. Negan segment:

Rick rick-diculously wastes ammo firing on the Negan-Camero of Magic Nihilism, but of course, Negan has escapes into a brick, multi-story, industrial building.

Rick runs into the 1st floor door, heroically escaping an attack by the posted Negan.

Lame-ass fight and zombies ensue. Negan's driven off to another hallway and into a stairwell.

Rick, out of ammo, flips a hatchet at Negan, who was taunting Rick from the top of the first flight of stairs.

Negan falls whilst dodging said hatchet, only to break through the 2nd story railing, and manages to hang over the stairwell leading to the basement level 1.

Rick, in a monumental account of self-ball-genisis, hacks at Negan's hand, only to watch Negan fall, off screen, through the basement level floor.

Remember, they fight on the 1st floor, Negan goes up one level, and Negan falls down the stairwell through the basement level floor in the stairwell.

They proceed to do the sexy, sexy verbal tango in the dark in the basement for 20, 40, 50 fucking minutes, until Rico finds the bat, lights it on fire and taunts Negan for a second time.

After Rico's magnifico speech, he is tackled by Negan into another room on the B1 floor. Zombies, fire, and lame ass fighting ensues.

Now they both escape through a window in the basement, B1, dropping down into some B2 area.

Next shot is Rick stumbling around on the original street level set completely unaware of Negan's escape and his own miraculous levitation.

Zombies and gents, I give you, 0.0 of writing, direction, and screen editing for 1 beelion dollars.

*bows profusely *

384 * electric vehicles - they make no sense from any
angle, excepting perhaps fleet vehicles, buses, in congested urban
areas, in summer-time (emissions)

* driverless cars - again with a few niche areas aside, WTF? No great reason for them, the costs and drawbacks are enormous

I
see all these things pretty much the same way I see O-care, solar power
for the grid, etc. Economically infeasible/wasteful ideas that respond
to no existing problem.

Electric trolley buses are awesome. Vancouver, B.C. has used them for many, many years. They out-accelerate the Diesel buses, and are fairly quiet, and last forever. The trolley system allows for a fair degree of maneuvering, and if routes change, the overhead wires can be relocated easily and cheaply.

Sure there is. A great reason. bed sores are prima facie evidence of substandard care.

the family should file a beef with the Joint Commission

https://jointcommission.org/report_a_complaint.aspx

as well as the state agency that regulates hospitals, and the nursing board.
if he's Medicare, i think you can file with them too as well as with Medicaid.

if he's on private insurance, they should contact them as well.

at the very least, the hospital, to use the term loosely, should be on the hook for all treatment of the wound, in the hospital or at home, as well as for any extension of his stay as a patient, because bed sores are pretty much 100% avoidable.

not sure what the state laws there are on malpractice, but they should talk to a lawyer to see what their options are, if any.

Just remember. Any "willing hitman" in your area, is 99% likely a cop or a snitch being run by a cop.

ONLY trust proven scum and villainy from Teh Horde, for your stalker removal needs!

And deal only in courier carried, hand delivered envelopes, with proven anti-tampering seals found to be intact.

EVERY form of electronic communications can be counted on to be compromised. EVERY form. No exceptions.

And start to amass large sums of randomly acquired cash, various denominations, no new bills, all handled ONLY with latex gloves, if handled at all.

In other words.

Pest Control in the real world is nasty, brutish, EXPENSIVE and always fraught with MUCH risk.

While I doubt that it's impossible, I offered the above, only as an illustration so as to demonstrate the relative bargain which is your legal staff.

Which you'd likely need, anyway, after being busted for "Pest Control" in the real world, no matter how carefully you tried to comply with various EPA requirements.

413 Back in college in the 80's I had to do a feasibility study on a pedestrian bridge near campus. Replacing a 4 lane bridge with sidewalk over a railroad. The pedestrian bridge had to be completed before they could tear down the old bridge. It cost as much as the replacement 4 lane bridge, but we couldn't eliminate it due to project scope, despite the ground level railroad crossing 3 blocks away. It was fancy, with 3 times the required number of turnouts for wheelchairs since the architect had a daughter in a wheelchair. Tons of hand leveled concrete work for all the landings. And heated tubes embedded to keep it from freezing. And it all got f'ed up when the contractors drove their trucks over it before the concrete was done curing. So it all got torn up and redone. Gotta love a good govt contract job.

415 did you go the the Arcade Expo...
I worked it. I found out that that there are politics in everything...(SIGH)
The pinball side had 30+ volunteers. The Video side and maybe 10.
I get that pinballs are labor intensive. But they got a lot of love. The big thing about Vids is they need a working control panel and a clean monitor. Half the battle is getting to a monitor. On any game, pin or vid the cashbox is what was protected. For pins it didnt matter after that. But vids could have the game boards stolen. So its harder to clean the monitors vs a playfield. If I'm paying $50 I would expect the vids to be just as clean as the pins. But when the volunteers cant/wont try to clean the monitors you might as well go to an old Laundromat to play a video games and save $49.75. EM electro-mechanicals are what a pinball are. I jumped right in a replaced parts on a drop target. For some reason one guy said to me "that's hard". No its not. It took me an hour to finish it. He pulled the wrong board for a pin even though it was clearly marked.DUH After that I worked the Vids. most of the games I fixed just need a cleaning. Dust is a resistor. Or they needed a monitor adjustment. ...I dont understand people. It should be called the Museum of Pinball and Video Games. There is only one full time employee for the Vid side. He is awesome!!!!!!!!! But one guy cant keep 400+ games clean. This is the biggest Arcade on the west coast, hands down. You would think they would want it to be the best.
one switch goes out on a Vid and its unplayable. Not so much on a pinball.
As a manager I had to work on both often alone. It doesn't take 3 guys to work on a pin. I will say spend the money because you wont find this experience anywhere else. But it could be better and it wouldn't take much to make it that way. bitchbitchbitchmoanmoanmoan...

Because they're lefties, Charles. Simple as that.

Not that there's any shortage of stupid Republicans. RNC = QED.

But leftism demands a certain abandonment of facts, logic, math, truth and certainty.

All of which are the hallmarks of a proven, reliable engineer.

And so, we have before us, the ground-level, six-fatality TRUTH of the failure of leftism, as demonstrated through SJW hiring and "engineering".

Cruz, 18, "unlawfully entered the school grounds" around 4:50 p.m. on Monday, according to a report from the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said that despite warnings not to enter the Stoneman Douglas campus, Cruz went through locked doors and gates and rode his skateboard throughout the property - all of which was captured on security footage.

450 Hi ONT, haven't read shit but wanted to say hi.

Here's an update for those following along. [WOT Incoming]:

(There IS some context here, she knew I wasn't threatening to commit suicide.)

Stream-of-consciousness time. Read at your leisure.

I'm very depressed. I don't think I'll ever meet the right woman and I don't think I'll ever have children. I've thought seriously about just leaving this world.

But in the time I've been here, I've witnessed so many amazing advances for humanity; the Internet, theoretical physics, medical advancements, breakthroughs in agriculture and logistics that have massively reduced hunger and poverty, social changes that have given a voice to geniuses of all walks of life (Stephen Hawking, rest his soul), the amazing humor and creativity I see online with memes and the like, and now a realistic plan to colonize other planets.

I'm unhappy, but I don't want to miss the next 50 years. They are going to be amazing.

That's why I'm so fearless when I meet someone like you. We only have so much time on this earth. Something could happen to me, or you, or, God forbid, all of us, pretty much at any time. We'll wish that we had used our limited time to connect with others, understand them better, and most of all, love them.

Modern society, peace, and life itself, are all extremely fragile. I'm going to try to enjoy every moment.

It's very, very rare to meet someone like you, and I'm not going to let circumstances or a few societal rules get in the way of exploring your mind and personality, making a real connection, loving you, and enjoying every moment of it.

Why should Oklahoma or Indian pay for a new tunnel?

535 >>>>>Lots of people saying that the hiring of Joe
DiGenova by Trump is to have someone on board who can clearly explain,
in layman's terms, all the findings of the OIG report when it finally
drops (*two weeks*). If true, this is a good sign, no?

.I read someplace the other day that said the report is already done and sitting on Sessions desk for review. It was unconfirmed of course, but supposedly it is done completely and just waiting for him to sign off on it after his HQ team goes over it.

537 Thinking of getting a better one although this one still works great but noisy (gas powered).

~~~~~
We bought a big gasoline powered one and then bought a kit to switch it to natural gas. Lots more convenient than keeping a garage full of gas cans. And after Sandy, we had to drive about 30 miles inland just to get gas. Not fun.
539 538 I read someplace the other day that said the report is already done and sitting on Sessions desk for review.
How is Sessions able to review the IG Report (which deals w election-based behavior) when he recused himself from all "matters" dealing w the election? I know that this is the supposed course of the Reports (IG to AG to Congress,) but the recusal seemed to mean that rosenstein would be the second step, unfortunately.
