Peter Strzok Was Told of Possible Breach of Hillary Clinton's Illegal Homebrew Server, But Chose Not to Pursue That Lead

One might speculate that proving conclusively that Hillary's unsecure homebrew bathroom server had been breached by hostile foreign powers would have made exonerating her impossible, ergo, it was something that could not be pursued.

During the final months of the Clinton email investigation, FBI agent Peter Strzok was advised of an irregularity in the metadata of Hillary Clinton's server that suggested a possible breach, but there was no significant follow up, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter.

Sources told Fox News that Strzok, who sent anti-Trump text messages that got him removed from the ongoing Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe, was told about the metadata anomaly in 2016, but Strzok did not support a formal damage assessment.

One source said: "Nothing happened."

Note, the source means "nothing happened" as far as subsequent investigation, not "nothing happened" as far as there being no damage due to the breach.

Unclear writing.

Tighten it up. Come on, son.

58 The damage assessment is independent of the criminal acts, violations of the Espionage Act, which were on-going, systematic, deliberate, and implicated dozens of people. And which are clear, pretty much ipso facto violations. Period.

This entire chapter is a distilled example of the degradation of the civic culture in the US. No integrity or standards at the highest levels of government - not even a hint of skill or guile in committing serious crimes - just in-your-face criminality. Met by equally crude, arrogant criminality from the "law enforcement" institutions.

And it gets worse. Note that not a single Democratic member of Congress has, even once, expressed the slightest concern, much less outrage, at this unprecedented crime wave at the apex of the government. And we're only talking the Espionage Act chapter - there are several others, as you all know. And most Dem voters neither know nor care.

Intelligent citizens are an endangered minority.

99 who cares. trump's economy is good because of very simple reasons: low regulations. We used to be trade globalists, as all smart and wise conservatives were...but now I am a nationalist because I saw that the globalists have a vision of no-nations and certainly no legacy populations, just imported workers, imported welfare classes, and heavy policing of the natives to make sure they don't notice. or complain.

It is far more likely that all the foreign government hackers were just checking up to see what deals others had made with crooked Hillary and what areas were going to offer the highest likely ROIs for their bribes.

181 I first started to think that Trump was the Real Deal when he nominated Pence - before that, I was not sold on Trump.

Pence has always been honest - he stands out from other politicians in that way. Pence has lived his life in such a way as to be scrupulously free from scandal, the left hates him for that because they wanted to dig up dirt on him. Pence is very open about his religious faith, tells anyone who will listen that it is what guides his entire life - the left hates him for that, too.

So here's a man who has managed to keep himself in public life and free of all of the scandals and debauchery that most everyone in government is involved in, and what to people say "Oh I don't trust him he doesn't seem genuine."

How can a honest, good, straightforward guy cope with those kind of standards, and that kind of judgment? What more could he possibly do than that which he has already done?

He is who he is, what you see is the real deal. Always has been. He is, as the saying goes, "a man without guile".

201 This is also proof that the FBI and DOJ had no interest whatsoever in pursuing "Russian hacking" and that the FISA warrant against "Trump Associates" on grounds of suspected Russian interference was a sham cover to obtain political surveillance of a domestic political "enemy."

The questions should also be asked of Strzok, Comey, etc. what if any USE they made of intercepted Carter Page communications, or what other leads they followed as part of their "counter intel" operation. I bet it was a big fat zero, except of course for leaking salacious tidbits about "Trump Associates" to the media.

I am flogging a dead pony, but why is no one making more public hay of the fact they did not do even the basics of follow up to "investigate Russian interference" as a means of proving malicious intent just to surveil for political purpose?

If someone won't pay for something to be recycled, it's literally not worth recycling.

If people still want to feelz their way through wasting their money, I'd rather see landfills designated as specific piles. Here's glass no one wants. Here's paper no one wants. Here's plastic no one wants.

Because eventually someone may figure out a way to make recycling those things cost effective, and it would be nice to have them in handy stacks. As it is, let's please stop wasting electricity.

Because as long as Strzok, Page and anyone else is still employed by the DOJ they are subject to interrogation by the Inspector General. Once they are fired they are just like any other citizen and can tell him to pound sand.

Those that are still of some value like Strzok and value means they are talking to save their ass some prison time still have jobs, those who do not like McCabe are fired or "allowed to retire".

318 Thanks Sooth - just peeked and saw that Dave in Texas reappeared to post that, which is nice. Always looked forward to his WWII posts, being a geek on that topic.

Unrelated, though sorta, guy came in today where I volunteer and donated a gun-sight camera. Pristine. In its own wooden box, every component having a spot, even had Kodak film cartridges, and some sort of "gel" filters (? - Palp, you around?). 16mm. Plate on it said "Army Air Forces", which probably places it in that in-between era of 1945 - 1948/9, whenever the offical switch to "Air Force" took place.

And Ignoramus, about it being a "tight conspiracy" - and also to everyone who wonders why line agents out in Spokane didn't walk out in protest and leak things about the Clinton case - recall that we already know Comey made the investigation a "special", which I believe meant it was run out of FBI HQ, not the Washington field office. Thus the involvement of dept. chiefs, counsels, etc. Not normal for a field investigation.
