The Morning Rant: J.V. Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

Reliance on others for one's safety and well being is a recipe for disaster. There are two reasons why. First, it creates a culture of dependence that is destructive of the human drive to succeed. Second, it just doesn't work. Those people in Broward were forced to count on others for their survival, because they were denied the basic right of self defense. Throwing poo is a poor substitute for a couple of teachers and a football coach with concealed weapons. Does anyone think that the cowardly murderer with the unnaturally small penis would have gone toe to toe with that coach if he had a pistol in his hand? the history of these events suggests he would have run away or simply killed himself.

I'm an African-American NRA Member...Here's What I Want You to Know About Me

I'm not a gun-owner or a member of the NRA because I love guns.

I'm an NRA member because I respect guns and the damage they can cause. When I became a gun owner I vowed to take that seriously and educate myself on the laws and proper uses. The NRA provides the resources to educate oneself about the laws from state to state, training tailored for women and various safety and instructional programs.

I don't think everyone should be armed.

I just think everyone has the right to bear arms.

Part of me is pleased by this woman and her clear and unambiguous embrace of the Constitution and freedom. But...part of me is so very, very tired of the acceptance of the politics of division. I don't think that it is in the long-term best interests of the country constantly to recognize and embrace our differences rather than what we have in common.

That being said, we are in a war for survival, and if the conservative movement can peel off a few percentage points of the Black vote we will be in a very good position. If it is possible, it is people like this woman who will do it.

This is destruction of property and he really shouldn't have done it. But if I ever meet this guy in a bar I'm buying him a drink. Traffic cameras are a huge scam; really just revenue generation on a slightly smaller scale than civil forfeiture.

Russian Mercenaries On US Strikes In Syria: 'They Beat Our Asses Like We Were Little Pieces Of Shit'
“They were all shelling the holy fuck out of it and our guys didn’t have anything besides the assault rifles … nothing at all, I’m not even talking about shoulder-fired SAMs or anything like that… they tore us to pieces, put us through hell,” the man in the recording revealed, calling the incident a “total fuckup, another humiliation.”

“We got our fucking asses beat rough. The Yankees made their point,” he said. “What were they hoping for, that the Yankees are just going to fuck off? … It’s bullshit. Some people can’t even be fucking ID’ed.”

It's called "war." It's not supposed to be fair. In fact, this is exactly how we should be conducting military operations everywhere in the world. Overwhelming force is a fine, fine thing!

I doubt it's true, and it's from awhile ago, but I just want to hear the son of a bitch deny it again!

We've had to fight hard for them and we've lost many in the battle, alongside non-black Americans who stood with us. .There was a bad accident on 95 in CT when we lived there. Gas Tanker truck hit a car and went off into a bridge abutment and exploded and closed the Interstate for two weeks. Very soon after that a State Senator introduced a bill to install traffic cameras at that curve as a remedy.

When confronted by angry constituents on how that would prevent future accidents he quietly withdrew the bill.

Basically the corporation that runs them "RedFlex" (who's former CEO went to prison for bribery) sends you a ticket with their corporate logo on it and then uses the court system to make people pay. It's total corporatism/fascism.

Town politicians use RedFlex because they say it cuts down on the officers it has to hire. I'm sure some campaign checks from RedFlex also make their way into the campaign coffers as well.

42 All I know for sure is that European countries allowed themselves to be disarmed because they trusted their government. Americans, historically, don't trust their govt., and rightly so. That seems to be changing lately, as more want a full on style Nanny state, and I find that nutz.

I also know that Europeans thought we were insane to think guns so important...becz they trust their govt., etc.

But since the Mooslem and immigrant invasion, many have changed their mind as they see the cops can't, or won't, protect them. And their politicians are't either. Now some are saying, America, don't give up your free speech or gun rights.

Because both have happened to them, and they are paying an awful price. They couldn't forsee the future...we can...because they are our bellwether.

=====

Our local Sheriff used to have one covered in DARE stickers with 'seized from Drug Dealers' that was in all the local parades. Citizens did not like the seized aspect and so now we don't see it in our local parades.

A point that may be lost on people from more populous areas: local parades with fire trucks and cop cars and equipment is also showing the citizens what was bought with their tax money. Perhaps a helpful reminder.

They gave out Over 2 thousand tickets, this is a BIG tournament. When people got home and got the tickets there was a huge backlash because Teams vowed not to return. The Police Chief had to cancel the tickets.

Big Surprise they had a HUGE drop of teams going the next year.

If you never been to a tournament, you have to use the Hotels they choose so these things pump A lot of money into the city.

79 People who speculate how gun fights between teachers and assailants will go in schools are missing the point. The point is deterrence. Knowing that the school is not gun-free and knowing that you can be challenged and killed by anyone in any room will deter the assault from happening in the first place, and when it doesn't, it will slow it down tremendously. Moving through a school when you know no one will shoot back is fast and easy; moving through a school when potentially anyone could shoot back is very slow and very hard.

100 One of the Parishes in S. La that I do work for has something like 250 active cameras up all over the place. Not for speeding though, just pure surveillance. They can track your movements 100% from the time you enter the parish until you exit. I'm waiting for a citizen to subpoena the footage to prove a spouse was cheating, etc. How can they deny it?

There was a murder case in New Orleans a few years ago where the police were able to track a vehicle from south Mississippi all the way into town. There was not a single moment in the entire trip that the vehicle was not recorded on a camera somewhere.

At some point we've become as bad as England with CCTV cameras. They did it quietly too and not many people understand the full scope.

101 I'm of mixed feelings about speed cameras. I drive into DC on 295 every morning, and there are plenty of fools on the road, including plenty of red light runners, who need to be taught a lesson. However, for anyone who knows the DC roads, you know that 295 is the main artery on the east side of the city for commuters from VA and MD. It isn't by accident that the traffic cameras are on that road. It's a commuter tax by another name - another way for DC to get other people's money to support its corruption and incompetence.

First, there is no planet on which I'm going to listen to pretty much anything politically liberal from a Venezualan immigrant. Second, as you might expect, the crap he was spouting/asking was beyond silly. "I wanted to have a civilized conversation but I guess that's just not possible and we should go our separate ways."

"We can't have a conversation because you're lacking actual legal knowledge, gun knowledge, and the procedures/responsibilities of teachers. THAT'S why that list of questions you sent was absurd. Yeah, that's prob for the best. Vaya con Dios."

He ordered all his deputies to stand outside the school and let that massacre happen. Why? Because they didn't have cameras? Or their radios didn't work? OR is it because he knew a good school shooting with lots of casualties would be just the thing for the cause of his fellow travelers?

The ugly question is, did this guy sacrifice the lives of these children for political points? I hate to even think it, but it's looking more and more that way to me. I really, really hope that isn't the case. But God, these people are monsters. I can't put it past them.

A human death would be a tragedy whether it happened at the hands of a murderer, a wild animal or by some accident. We'd try to stop it or prevent it if we could.

Animal rights activists only seemed concerned about animal life when it is taken by humans, even if it is taken far more painlessly than it would be by another animal in the wild.

The fact that an animal death is only selectively considered a "tragedy" tells me that animal rights people don't believe the bullshit they are peddling. They don't so much care for animals as they dislike their fellow humans and enjoy the sense of power and guilt they can inflict upon them. Nope, I don't really respect them or their motives at all, they are such blatant hypocrites.

Republican GOPe is so inarticulate they can not communicate to the black community why or how they are being screwed by Commies. They cannot communicate why it is to their advantage to vote Republican.

And from an objective viewpoint it would appear to the casual observer that Democrats are fixed, they know who they are, and are constant whereas Republicans are inconstant, incompetent, and whisy-washy, one cannot depend on them.

That is the reason blacks have not been moving to the Republican isle. They see Republicans sell out their own in a heartbeat but the Democrats, like daddy, can be depended on.

... apparently, Broward County was worried about being sued by the families of any collateral damage created by the Broward County Sheriff's department.

Did anybody in the Sheriff's department expect they would have time to retrieve them from the station in the case of an event that might require them ? It certainly didn't happen in this case. Yes indeedy. Why aren't more Republicans and 2A supporters mentioning this?

You do know that the school shootings took a leap upward in frequency and death toll after the Gun Free Zone law took effect?

Let's bring that up at every opportunity and let Joe Biden feel some heat for a change. You note he's been awfully awfully quiet? There's a reason for that. (besides him being coo coo crazy and handsy)

33 - Virginia Tech 2007

Good list ... the number I had (from Coulter iirc) was 79. Virginia Tech for example was on campus, but not "in school" exactly. That may be the difference, and probably worth noting in light of the "train/arm 20% of teachers" thing.

Using the 79 number it is something like 2.4 deaths per 50 million students ... so schools are safe. And that number includes some (unarmed) teachers that blocked bullets with their body.

And there's been all sorts of studies that show that speed does not kill. When Clinton signed the transportation bill killing the federally mandated 55mph limit, all sorts of dire predictions came out that the roads would be red with blood. I actually think fatalities went down.

She's scared about moving, trying to be normal for the kids, doesn't know what will happen if this job prospect doesn't work out. She's got such a good heart and is trying so hard, right now she feels a little desperate and tired.
Please pray for her and her family. I know how much it helps.

Anonymous- (12/22/17) A dear friend who survived cancer--twice--died unexpectedly Thursday night. Not from cancer. He was one of the kindest, sweetest people I've known. His widow is in shock, and sitting in their house looking at the tree they decorated together, and their gifts to each other under it.

Arch Stanton- (12/19/17) My dad is recovering from having a pacemaker put in, and battling COPD.

Backwards Boy- B'Gal has Congestive heart failure, COPD, scleroderma and arthritis.

barbarausa- (1/31/18 ) Son left rehab, texted girlfriend he was "in the woods", then turned off his phone. There isn't a lot we can do but what we've already done, other than pray.
I know there are some major prayer warriors on here, and would be most humbly grateful if you'd send some up for him.

Bebe's boobs destroy- Former co-worker's four year-old has cancer.

bergerbuilder- Multiple strokes, out of hospital at end of September.

Blacksheep- Stage 2 prostate cancer.

Booknlass- Relationship with Daughter.

CaliGirl- Mom's boyfriend Arthur has cancer. --(12/26/17)- The gold digger that is elder abusing a friend of ours and making everyone miserable with ridiculous demand letters has claimed her first victim. I'm sad to report the special needs son of the elderly victim was found dead today. I have no idea how he passed. He was in his 50's and had no health problems.

Cannibal Bob- Our brother-in-law (my sister's husband) passed away yesterday morning. We are mourning the loss of the gentlest of souls who shared his gift of listening, was a Good Samaritan to any in need and was so close to the earth that you were grounded and at peace just being around him.
-Also, Bob's cousin who just finished chemo has been pronounced in remission. Praise the Lord!
-Our other brother-in-law with the cancer around his heart is doing well with chemo/radiation. We pray that it continues successfully and with few side effects.

Captain Whitebread- Mother's health and stable employment.

Captain Whitebread- (12/19/17) I've had to go to the local hospital ER a couple of times since heart surgery because I was concerned I might be having more heart trouble. I didn't, but since I didn't have insurance, the bill was huge. I tried paying a little every month, but sometimes I missed because money is really tight.
Monday, I was served with a court summons. The collection agency working for the hospital is taking me to court. I owe $4500. I have no way of paying in full. I have to appear in court with the next 35 days.
All I am asking from the Horde is prayers that a workable solution might be found. I am not asking for money; everyone has done more than enough after my heart surgery and when I almost had my electricity cut off a couple of years ago. I believe that with enough prayer, a way will reveal itself. At this time, I don't know what it is. But I believe there is one.

Catman- (1/2/18 ) My dad died tonight.... Please prayers.

Cheri- Lost Son, (21), in February to hiking accident.

Cheriebebe- (2/4/18 ) Hello,
I would like to ask for prayers for myself please.
I had been having worsening breathing. The little voice in my head said; 'this isn't right, let's get to the Dr.'' They thought I had CHF and maybe pneumonia. The hospital was FULL so no admission, fine, I was managing. They did a thoracentisis to drain fluid from my right lung as it really wasn't CHF and pneumonia. Somehow the initial results were a nothing-burger, but when I got in to see the pulmonary Dr. the results showed metastatic cancer. I'm completely blown away. This is a recurrence of breast cancer that I had battled 7 yrs ago. Please pray for my husband and myself as this is a mortal blow.
I'm only 53 and I am simply terrified. *Thank you*

Chi- Friend's passing, (Lewis), after battle with cancer.

Donna V- Bills to be paid and an alcoholic Brother.

Dr. Strangepork- Friend may have had a stroke.

Duke Lowell- Son in need of healing.

Elisabeth- (12/12/17) Chronic stress from my perpetually low income is worsening my known autoimmune problems and probably some that haven't yet been diagnosed, and I've just started my fifth course of antibiotics for a recurrent sinus infection and nothing I've tried to improve my income situation (finding a better job, asking for a raise, selling my work, finding cheaper housing) has worked. Plus, I need new glasses but can't afford the eye exam.

Emmie- Continued relationship with Daughter.

Fenelon Spoke- Healing for my son and ability to pay healthcare bills.

Fox2!- (1/14/18 ) Please add a friend to the list. She is out of the hospital and in rehab.

Gabe- (1/9/18 ) I have a couple of good friends, Patrick Porter and Barbie Turner who are both battling cancer. A petition to the almighty by the horde would be huge IMO.

Gushka- Infection after being bitten by her horse. Her friends' mental health after returning from battle.

Hopped up on Something- Immediate Family member with cancer. Bone pain without opioids, Hospital Policy.

Hrothgar- Lost Son in accident; (1/6/18 ) I'd appreciate Horde prayers for my grandson and granddaughter, both still very devastated by the loss of their father, and I truly fear for their futures. Jane D'oh- Son's Best Friend was in a terrible automobile accident. Surgeries and long recovery ahead. (1/9/18 )

jeannebodine- (1/14/18 ) feeling particularly low right now in this brutal winter. My 68-year old husband suffers from Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease and he is deteriorating rapidly.
We have no family around us and friends are thin on the ground, even though we always had many friends throughout our lives. Even close friends have disappeared.
It sure is a different world out there than the one I grew up in. Prayers would be so appreciated for my husband and for me, a full-time spouse caregiver.
Thank you so much. Prayers for you and the Horde from my end.

Jim, Sunk New Dawn- (12/26/17) From a rather chilly Orlando, FL. 89 y/o Step Mom in deteriorating health. One way trip, and a contest as to what gets her first. Water around enlarged heart, or OldTimers.
Looks like I'll have to make a hasty long term TDY to Orlando, for however long time is left.

Jinx- Mother's passing.

Johnny- (12/19/17) About a year and a half ago my wife divorced me. It was all very civil and amicable. Today she told me (texted me) that she is now engaged. This whole time, I've been torn up and depressed, of course, but, I don't know, maybe I was in denial or something, because when she told me that.. Gah. It's really over. That life that I was so excited about, will never come to pass.

JQ- (12/26/17) 'Twas an otherwise Merry Christmas, because it might be Dad's last, as he has advanced cancer. Dad (80s) is ambulatory but slowing down...
The reality of Dad's situation hit hard tonight after I got home and my heart is breaking.
Prayers welcome, if you would please.
Thanks, Merry Christmas, and God bless you all.

junior- Employment

Just wondering- My sister Lisa had a large brain tumor removed, is partly paralyzed and wheel chair bound with memory issues and heart failure - needs prayers for her encouragement and recovery. Also, our family needs prayers after the recent death of our father, after the passing of our mother last year. We've been through a rough patch.

Katja- (1/29/18 ) I can't say anything too specific about my request, just that I'd ask for prayers for a young man, still a teenager, whom I'll call "A", who is battling depression and suicidal tendencies and continually pulling away from the people who care most about him.

Nathan- (1/16/18 ) Kitsapbass (and family) homeless. Long story short. Wife's ex husband has custody of elder two kids, goes to jail. Prayers that her eyes would be opened to the hurt that this is causing everyone around her, even if we're all trying to accept it (with varying degrees of sucess moment by moment) with dignity, grace, and love. Most importantly, prayers for our young children, who while appearing to be bearing it better than expected are clearly (at least to me) not themselves.

Ron- (1/2/18 ) Please pray for the family of Zack Parrish, the Douglas County Sheriff's

He is trying to stay sober and finish his last two terms of College for a degree in Economics. He needs prayers for strength and to make the right choices and renewed faith in God.

If I can post in your "voice", I'd like it better. It personalizes the prayer, instead of my shorthand.

I'd also like to pray for the people who aren't on this list. For those who don't choose to publicize their trials and maladies, I understand. You won't suffer in silence. A candle will be lit in your name.

283 The ones that simply flash and say you are speeding
are fine, its the revenue generating "ticket in the mail" ones I have
problems with. I think it will lead to all sorts of other bullshit
means to get revenue, especially as facial recognition technology
becomes prevalent.

And there's been all sorts of studies that show that speed does not
kill. When Clinton signed the transportation bill killing the federally
mandated 55mph limit, all sorts of dire predictions came out that the
roads would be red with blood. I actually think fatalities went down.

The only place I believe in being strict with speed is a school zone.

Posted by: Maritime at February 27, 2018 12:05 PM (lKmt3)

Agree 100%. The flashing reminders are not annoying, and they really do cause you to modify "incorrect" behavior right then and there. Which is the stated goal of all traffic enforcement. Speed and red light cameras, which deliver a mailed ticket weeks after the fact, don't cause drivers to much alter their behavior; they just generate revenue.

287 Under the logic of "we must confiscate all semi-auto guns to save 2.4 students per 50 million" (and it would perhaps save none, since there would still be illegal semi-auto guns and other guns) ... what other things must be stopped to save even more children?

Cars, drugs, stairs, all sports, Michelle's school lunch fiasco ...

or big ones like open border policy, forced quota systems, globalists trade policy, uranium one deals, pallets of cash to Iran ...

301 Sooth, even after you begin to feel better make sure you take the full course of antibiotics. That's very important.

And yes, get a probiotic. They don't fight with the antibiotic, they replenish the good bacteria that the antibiotics kill, and you need those for your immune system to work properly.

Yogurt with live cultures help, but I tend to go for the pill forms. Ask your pharmacist what brand they recommend.

"Only the police should have guns" + "You can't blame them for not wanting to engage a dude with an AR-15" = Extra-special cognitive dissonance

There's a reason these were the first 2 amendments. B/c they are the most important; the first 2 people are gunning for. Get rid of those 2, and you can govern a bunch of sheeple with no fears.

It scares me that these 2 are even being questioned.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which has identified similar noncitizen voting problems in studies of Virginia and New Jersey, said Pennsylvania officials have admitted noncitizens have been registering and voting in the state "for decades."

But state officials have stonewalled PILF requests for access to the data that could expose the problem, the group says in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Harrisburg.

Don't get me wrong, Hezbollah or other Iran-backed goons dying makes me happy.

Just three questions about the whole Syria situation come to mind:

1. Who are the good guys and bad guys? I know, I know its ambiguous, but Americans aren't keen on risking blood and treasure over there unless it can be explained in those terms.

2. If there is a side to back, is it feasible? I am reminded of our attempt to get the Gemayel family running Lebanon in 1982-1983. That didn't go well, largely because Papa Assad had Soviet backing and there was no American desire for a wider war.

3. Can't Israel do it for us? We pay them enough aid for just such reasons, and they are so much better at it than us it seems.

I already spend enough time on this with being out of work until next month.

When I get back to work, I'll have even less time to dedicate toward this effort.

I relied on Miley to copy and paste prayer requests that she had seen that I did not. No one has taken-up her slack.

Allow me to do what I do. If that is your mantle, then take it and run with it.

I'm just a guy with a keyboard.

Okay, cool. *Waves white flag* I was just asking, not expecting. I'm not on every thread every day, or I would help.

If this is gonna interfer with your job Slapweasel maybe someone else can do for awhile. I don't think a lot of people even know how it all works...I learned something new just now.

Maybe you can have a COB post a thing and get you some extra help.

And please don't kick me, I is friendly. I'm amazed you even do the whole list and that people pray for strangers. So I stand in awe.

390 My testimony suddenly just happened last weekend. My husband called me late one night and told me he and the other woman had gotten into an accident while arguing and fighting in the car. He then explained he didn't want to be with her anymore. He is still in another state right now because of his job but it will be ending soon and he'll be back home. This is the same man who told me to move on and stop praying because we would never be together and that he didn't love me anymore. But Fadhili Chausiku turn everything around for my good and remove the evil woman from my marriage. She wanted to spoil and destroy my marriage with her greed. Now we talk, text, and Facetime every day. I am so grateful to my father in heaven for using Fadhili Chausiku in restoring my marriage and saving my family. I know we still have a long way to go but I thank Fadhili Chausiku for what he has done for me and my marriage. I just want to encourage all the standers to keep standing, fight for what belongs to you and you will have it. Thank you so much for reading.
You can read more of the story here https://thebestspellcasteronline.wordpress.com/
