Christopher Steele Wrote 2nd Dossier, Containing Rumors Fed to Him by Hillary's hostaet-Men

So dark the con of man.

A newly released document from the Senate Judiciary Committee says Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled the Trump dossier, wrote an additional memo on the subject of Donald Trump and Russia that was not among those published by BuzzFeed in January 2017.

The newly released document is an unclassified and heavily redacted version of the criminal referral targeting Steele filed on Jan. 4 by Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. It appears to confirm some level of coordination between the extended Clinton circle and the Obama administration in the effort to seek damaging information about then-candidate Trump.

According to the referral, Steele wrote the additional memo based on anti-Trump information that originated with a foreign source. In a convoluted scheme outlined in the referral, the foreign source gave the information to an unnamed associate of Hillary and Bill Clinton, who then gave the information to an unnamed official in the Obama State Department, who then gave the information to Steele. Steele wrote a report based on the information, but the redacted version of the referral does not say what Steele did with the report after that.

Published accounts in the Guardian and the Washington Post have indicated that Clinton associate Cody Shearer was in contact with Steele about anti-Trump research, and Obama State Department official Jonathan Winer was a connection between Steele and the State Department during the 2016 campaign.

And Sidney Blumenthal was also interviewed by the FBI about the memo.

The heavily-redacted Grassley/Graham letter is available at the link.

Actions outside of the legislative process can be punished. Within legislative actions, Congress critters and their aides are protected by the speech and debate clause.

I suspect that the Republicans prefer Schiff to be the ranking minority member despite his leaking because he is a known agent and looks like an unhinged liar on TV.

The House and Senate have internal rules against leaking secrets that can be punished by removal from the Intelligence Committee (and or other actions). However, the Dem's can't remove him without looking like fools and the Repubs probably want him to keep on Schiffin as he resembles Baghdad Bob in his veracity.

The maneuver is called "hand washing" as in one hand washes the other. the UK and US both have "bothersome hurdles" the intel agencies must leap over to play their games on home soil.

In a sane government such powers would be being used to go after the Muslim wave invasions that are KNOWN AND SHOWN to hide terror assets....

in the government the Anglosphere *has* in each case it is used to spy on non leftoid political opponents.

167 Was reading about Carter Page and Russia. The previous investigation into a relationship between Page and Russia was the investigation into the Russians trying to recruit Page as a confident. However, it was also an investigation that resulted in convictions of the Russian spies because Page fully cooperated with the FBI to bust the Russian spies.

I read previously that the Russians though of him as an "idiot", but I'm thinking now, they probably did so because in standard sting cases, you have to get them to say expressly what they mean. I consider that was probably the level of "idiocy" they saw in Page. ("We have to spell everything out for this guy!")

However, Page fully cooperating with the FBI, kind of makes laughable the claims "Page had been under previous investigation" and "Page had been instigated for years"

173 Mueller wrote and enforced the Woods Rules that were violated so to think that he is not aware of how illegal his investigation is is nonsense.

But then this was never about discovering the truth but about derailing and agenda.

Anything the Dems are for, I'm against. This goes double for the Mueller investigation.

That said I don't see how Trump or anyone could manage to fire him or stop the investigation without a lot of fallout. They have managed to lock this in and it can't be escaped.

The best that can be hoped for is that they can't manage to produce convincing evidence and will be forced to concede.

Mueller could continue for another year or so in hopes that some thing happens or that someone makes a mistake that can be exploited. Which is what he's been doing for the last year; keeping the clock going in hopes the other side gets exhausted and fails.

But...it's CNN. Their source could be the White House chipmunk. They make things up all the time.

Mueller isn't some babe in the woods. He deliberately hired people whom he knew would be hostile to the president. They donated heavily to the opposition candidate or the DNC (some even worked on campaigns). He knew this. It was in their disclosures. That's how the media knew it.

So what? People are allowed to have opinions even in law enforcement and no, I don't think he had any idea how strong their feelings were or more importantly the real reason they were doing what they were doing which wasn't first done out of hatred of Trump, it was done to cover up prior corruption.

There wasn't a single person here, in the media or anywhere else on planet earth reporting about the bias of the people he hired and the plot that had hatched because most of it was unknown at the time.

I'm not saying Mueller is a Boy Scout, what I am saying is he had nothing to do with the original plot, did not know that some of the people he hired were involved with it, but he likely does understand the gravity of what happened and he can see as well as anyone where this train is headed. Stopping his investigation now we would be legally questionable and politically stupid. Let him finish what will obviously be an investigation which will not show any collusion and will further illustrate that the whole thing was a setup to distract from the crimes of the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Supreme Court Denies Bid to Keep GOP-Friendly Districts in Pennsylvania
Democrats gain advantage after court declines to stay state court decision that Pennsylvania's districts were unlawfully gerrymandered

Wtf?! Our U.S. Supreme Court? Geez. Gerrymandering is a huge deal. Obama said he wanted to work on it too. That'll kill the GOP party permanently if they don't fight back.

Yes, the prior gerrymandering must be kept in place... because gerrymandering is wrong...

I think the simplest explanation is that it was a sting operation gone haywire, and would make the FBI look bad.

But who knows? It could also have something to do with Muslim terrorism or drug cartels.

The only thing I'm certain about is that the truth is inconvenient to the Deep State.

If the premise for questioning, or anything presented in that questioning was "illegal", then some might believe the whole conviction or plea would be thrown out.

434 even if the FISC judges are dirty (in on it), they still go through the motions of hearing the BS stories and pretend to swallow them whole, without asking probing questions.

So now they know they were fed lies, they can issue order to begin the contempt process against the lying FBI lawyers. Using lies to overturn an election ... bfd.

Or they can claim, "oh, no big deal, happens all the time", or can boldly say "yeah I knew they were lying, so what, I'm on the side of the mafia. They can kill me, nothing you little people can do to me. Immunity for all"

or some such. anyway ... the lied to FISC judges have to act, since they are exposed, as having been too gullible, or being in on it ... still, they must hold the liars in contempt.

446 By the way I have been able to figure out the answer to the question
"Why doesn't Article IV Section I of the Constitution require States to
recognize out of state Concealed Carry Licenses while it does require
the states to recognize each other's drivers licenses?" The answer to
that question is "Of course it does - however the powers that be want
Congress to pass a law requiring the recognition so that a future
Congress can repeal that law. Recognizing Article IV Section I authority
would mean that the Constitution would have to be changed to repeal
reciprocity.

What we ( the Horde ) need to do is hire a really
viscous lawyer to file a federal lawsuit against all 50 states requiring
them to obey Article IV Section I and force CCW reciprocity on them
whether they like it or not. Say, ATC are you licensed to practice in
federal court?

455 It's not a second dossier. This was just a portion that Buzzfeed did not publish. The Oct 20 part of the dossier speaks about this report filed on Oct 19. It is about Michael Cohen, and was all about getting evidence for the FISA application. Oct 18, 'Confirmation' of Carter Page meeting from another source, then followup with Michael Cohen's meeting in Prague. Only they got the wrong Michael Cohen with the same birthday. FBI not only didn't verify, they probably verified and found it to be false, but the agents in charge ignored it and went forward.

457 So the FBI used a fabricated dossier on Trump to spy on Trump, then some dirty dirt bag wrote his version of the same Dossier based on intel from the state department and then leaked information gained by illegal spying on Page to the media and thus we have three points of evidence all from the same lying source used to justify a FISA warrant. Got that -all the evidence they used against Trump came from the self same source tarted up as 3 separate sources, how forking dimwitted are FISA judges? Not content with that breath taking level of corruption they used the fabricated dossier and intel illegally gained of Page to set Trump up for Russian collusion. Jesus wept they didn't just drop a bag of crack in our car they left their finger prints all over the bag and then charged us with dealing.
