Strzok-Page Texts Mention Meeting of "Secret Society," The Day After Trump's Election

This doesn't sound suspicious at all.

I'm sure noted RUSSIAN BOT expert Allahpundit will later note that this story is being spread by RUSSIAN BOTS.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy told Fox News on Monday that one of the newly-revealed text messages spoke of a "secret society."

"The day after the election, the day after what they really, really didn't want to have happen, there's a text exchange between [Strzok and Page] ... saying, 'Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society,'" Gowdy said. "So, of course I'm going to want to know: What 'secret society' are you talking about?"

Deb Heine reports that Congressmen want a second special prosecutor to investigate this.

There is serious talk on Capitol Hill about the appointment of a second special counsel amid several new bombshell revelations swirling around the Trump/Russia probe.

First, there are the allegations of shocking and substantial government surveillance abuses under President Obama outlined in the FISA abuse memo.

Secondly, the FBI lost five months of key text messages between the anti-Trump/pro-Clinton FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. And now there's talk of a "secret society" of officials within the FBI that apparently met the day after the election of Donald J. Trump to plot against the president-elect.

@RepRatcliffe
The thousands of texts @TGowdySC and I reviewed today revealed manifest bias among top FBI officials against @realDonaldTrump. The texts between Strzok and Page referenced a "secret society."

Top Republicans now believe there may be real grounds for a second special counsel, Fox News reported Monday evening.

Obviously, any real "prosecution" would go up in smoke if it went to trial as there's plenty here to show over the top bias and tampering.

58 Every one of them should go to jail. Its bigger than just "did a bunch of assholes in the FBI interfere in the election," which is important enough. Its that there has to be a deterrent for this kind of behavior. The law is both punishment and deterrent. Jobs should be lost, careers should be ruined, people should go to jail. Otherwise, this will just keep happening, whenever a democrat is in office.

159 Comey went to the NY Slimes with intent to generate a special "prosecutor/counsel", probably according to plan, knowing they had Mueller all lined up. That's not how it works ... no the correct legal procedure.

The fact Deep State is still operating and their criminals are still not indicted, not even fired ... is a sign this separate shadow government is still functional, still has government resources at its disposal.

That's not good ... but it seems only public opinion matters at this point, not law. So exposing the documents is supposed to sway public opinion, since our government is not just lawless, they are the enemy. (at least the ones still running the machinery are the enemy, even if they are slightly on the defensive now)

Maybe the great roundup is underway ... maybe chess pieces are in position ... but no one is resigning the game, so now what?

I guess more raw exposure of evidence till the public gives the go signal? Lots of bad players in NYDC ...

Right now the conspirators are presenting a solid front. Evidence is being destroyed, congressional inquiries delayed or ignored outright. Why not? They got away with it with Lerner and there's great confidence they'll get away with it here.

The good news is that none of these people are Boy Scouts. They're anything-goes political partisans, with lots of felonious secrets. Secrets, when found out, equate to leverage.

331 one thing some whistleblowers (William Binney) said about the NSA collecting so much data, is that they have too much, so they miss the obvious like the Boston bombers.

BUT they are good AFTER the event, cuz they can then go back and find evidence once they have the names.

So it seems likely that NSA has ALL of this, especially Hillary's server info since it was outside the WH closed system. (not sure if NSA also collects ALL internal WH traffic, I'd guess yes)

"Jaw-dropping" Text Message By FBI Agent Suggests No Trump Collusion With Russia

"You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I'd be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there's no big there there."

zero hedge

And the hits just keep on coming.

Just hours after we reported that according to the latest batch of text messages between anti-Trump FBI investigators, a "secret society of folks" within the DOJ and the FBI may have come together in the "immediate aftermath" of the 2016 election to undermine President Trump, another blockbuster text message appears to have emerged.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said in a radio interview that the FBI's top agent on the Trump-Russia investigation, Peter Strzok, sent what Johnson called a "jaw-dropping" text message last year that suggests he saw no evidence of Trump campaign collusion.

392 361 Do you let Mueller just continue to humiliate himself and spin his wheels, or do you shut it down?

You absolutely let him continue - right up to the point that he is indicted and arrested for his part in the Uranium 1 scandal. This does two things - it keeps up the loony left's hope that Mueller will find something - anything to impeach two scoops with, and it allows Trump to point out that I was investigated in the most biased way possible and they found nothing - because there is nothing to find.

396 Try this out and see if it fits-

Picture your 6th grade schoolyard. The boy scouts are hanging near the Basketball hoops. Some are taking a few shots. Meanwhile the cool kids are hogging the swings. a few are smoking some Parliments they stole from their mothers. A couple of the more ambitious boy scouts start sidling over. After a couple of weeks they notice that they don't get in any trouble for hanging with the cool kids so a few start choking down a few puffs.

Mueller correctly refocuses the FBI from a law enforcement body to an intelligence body. The rank and file were and are still boy scouts. But the wanna be cool kids, specifically the ambitious ones started hanging out with the Clappers of the world. Looking at you Strok. They are doubly fucked as they are all operating inside the beltway where most pols are ethically challenged so their distain for all those outside the walls of the Hoover building is rightfully pretty high.

The penultimate height of absurdity was when the head of the CIA clutched his pearls and sheiked about Russia interfering in our election. Dude, it's what the fuck you do. But that was the operating environment the senior lranks of the FBI operated in. Over time the lines just got blurrier and blurrier. No insane malace. No grand plan. Just an incrementalism that got us to the shitshow we have now. BTW; that doesn't mean heads should not roll. They have to for the good of the republic

What I got out of that is "the bear got rich with the cat who was talking about virtue and then took up arms against something in East Timor"

541 notice that DoJ/FBI and Congress are communicating with each other in permanent, public record letters

I think that is coordinated and intentional.

DoJ/FBI are happy to air the dirty laundry of the previous administration, and to be admonished by Congress about it.

It sets the justification for a special prosecutor and to reopen old investigations that were handled improperly

But NONE of this is going to ensnare Obama.
Just so you know.

544 AG Sessions is quoted in FNC article today saying that "over 50,000" texts...not among the ones that escaped down the rathole...were exchanged between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page from Dec 2016-May 2017.

Im no mathlete, but 50k texts in 5 months is approx 357 texts per day & 15 texts per hour.

All day every day for 5 months, on their official FBI phones.

Is it likely or even possible that these two adulterous lovebirds were texting back and forth like 5th grade crushes who just got their first cell phones, and nothing about work-campaign-StopTrump?

15 texts per hour every day for 5 months to anyone for any reason would emotionally, to say nothing of logically, command the attention of one's entire day.

I think 50,000 was the overall non-archived number for the FBI, not Poindexter and the dirty little howah.

548 Former U.S. Assistant Attorney General for National Security John P. Carlin. This guy....I want them to talk to this guy. He tossed a two decade career at the DOJ just as the internal Inspector General was interviewing employees. He skated to avoid that interview IMO. He needs to be put on the hotseat.

But just imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more,

the greatest in its niche. Wonderful blog!
