Strzok-Page Texts Mention Meeting of "Secret Society," The Day After Trump's Election

"The day after the election, the day after what they really, really didn't want to have happen, there's a text exchange between [Strzok and Page] ... saying, 'Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society,'" Gowdy said. "So, of course I'm going to want to know: What 'secret society' are you talking about?"Deb Heine reports that Congressmen want a second special prosecutor to investigate this.
There is serious talk on Capitol Hill about the appointment of a second special counsel amid several new bombshell revelations swirling around the Trump/Russia probe. First, there are the allegations of shocking and substantial government surveillance abuses under President Obama outlined in the FISA abuse memo. Secondly, the FBI lost five months of key text messages between the anti-Trump/pro-Clinton FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. And now there's talk of a "secret society" of officials within the FBI that apparently met the day after the election of Donald J. Trump to plot against the president-elect.

I read that quote "Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society" in a sort of jokey way, but having the intent that the two involved had a common purpose (bringing down Trump). (After all, he was boning the gummy broad, and he probably wanted to pound her ass again.) Now, the words 'secret society' are even more sinister sounding, and it is blowing up all over.

The real mistake was reomoving him from the Senate. Always a danger in removing someone who is generally considered a "good" senator to a cabinet spot. Now we see where that led. A useful reminder for future considerations.
Of course maybe Sessions wanted to retire soon anyway so this was sort of a capstone.

For instance if the quoted data mentions names (Clapper, Brennan, etc.) that agreed to use the known fake dossier, and shown intent to "delete evidence of their own schemes" ... it could still be powerful.

I doubt it. I lost a bunch of respect for him way back when he was saying that he knew Patrick Fitzgerald and that he could be trusted to be completely above board and do a fair job. I never remember him revisiting that and saying "oops, I was wrong" when it was all said and done. When he writes about a legal analysis of current events I will read him, but when he goes on about his experience with the fine upstanding people in the FBI and DOJ I just tune out.

DoJ/FBI are happy to air the dirty laundry of the previous administration, and to be admonished by Congress about it.
It sets the justification for a special prosecutor and to reopen old investigations that were handled improperly

Im no mathlete, but 50k texts in 5 months is approx 357 texts per day & 15 texts per hour.
All day every day for 5 months, on their official FBI phones.
Is it likely or even possible that these two adulterous lovebirds were texting back and forth like 5th grade crushes who just got their first cell phones, and nothing about work-campaign-StopTrump?
15 texts per hour every day for 5 months to anyone for any reason would emotionally, to say nothing of logically, command the attention of one's entire day.
