Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Fox: Andrew McCabe Was a Friendly Witness for Democrats Yesterday, But His Answers to Republicans About the Dossier Contained Conflicts With Other Witness Statements As Well as Convenient Gaps In MemoryWhile HPSCI staff would not confirm who will be summoned for testimony, all indications point to demoted DOJ official Bruce G. Ohr and FBI General Counsel James A. Baker, who accompanied McCabe, along with other lawyers, to Tuesday's HPSCI session. The issuance of a subpoena against the Justice Department's top lawyer could provoke a new constitutional clash between the two branches, even worse than the months-long tug of war over documents and witnesses that has already led House Speaker Paul Ryan to accuse DOJ and FBI of "stonewalling" and HPSCI Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., to threaten contempt-of-Congress citations against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray. The article says that, in being asked about the FBI's use of the dossier, McCabe said he stood by "its credibility," but I'm not sure if the "its" there refers to the dossier's credibility or the FBI's credibility. He admitted the only part of it they'd confirmed was Carter Page's trip to Russia, but they couldn't even confirm what the meeting was about. I'd love to see this m*****f**** go to jail for perjury. I'd also enjoy seeing any further interviews with Trump aids consist only of the answer, "Much like Assistant Attorney General Andrew McCabe, I can't remember any of the key facts you're asking about." At a minimum the DOJ OIG report will show many, many violations of DOJ/FBI procedure in how the Hillary case was run. Enough dots on the page that you can draw the cat: the investigation was purposefully tanked.
Will there enough to show how the actors conspired in this? Let us pray. So Mueller's investigating collusion that never happened, and whether firing Dirty Cop Jimmy Drama was somehow collusion. Trump should stop all funding to the UN and most international aid, and give the money to the American middle class and poor as aid. Play the same game the left plays by getting votes giving out free shit and at the same time cut funding to things the left loves.
The left will have a cow, and put themselves in the position that the American middle class and poor do not deserve aid, only foreigners do. That is how we shrink government while winning new voters. Do that with other agencies, a free one time hand out of money every time we ditch some agency. Give out federal land to individuals as well. Fusion GPS: They'll never have another client if they roll over and give up names, dates and pay offs. Most assuredly, those payoffs went to journalists - as we know there were at least 3. But I'm willing to bet they were also part of Rhodes echo chamber. Remember, Ben said that the typical reporter is 27 and has not clue. Enter Mr. Simpson (formerly of WSJ) and his cadre.
Insurance Policy: Was really a policy not necessarily to get Hillary elected, but to cover their own tracks. Nobody is going to get up and say: Obama called for it. Nobody is going to believe that. Since the Clintons have been discarded, they can't really say that. It would be easy, but Hillary just has to say: Hey, I left gov't in 2012. Beats me. So, how does this all tie in? It's a big thing with Uranium One, Hezbellah coke, IRS Tea Party and Iran. Obama was well schooled in Chicago politics. This is Chicago politics on a national stage - because NOBODY investigates dems in Chicago, Obama thought he could do the same. When Trump was nominated, things got out of control because of hubris. I can't believe these folks are going to risk their careers - careers that they've been working on for years (and if caught, where could they possibly go) to just get Hillary elected. Trading possibly 8 years of Hillary in exchange for 30+ year career? No. This whole thing was done to cover their tracks not for Hillary ,but for the last 8 years. Mis Cleo: I hear ya. We have the same problem here in SoCal.
The cops say: sure, we'll sweep but can't arrest (don't want to) and if we do they'll be on the street tomorrow. The only way we were able to get a small tent city completely evicted was that near there one morning last spring, a delivery driver was shot and killed roughly 100 yards from said camp. Don't know if it was drug related, gang or homeless - assuming our homeless is one who found a gun under his chair. All of this was going on when there is a fire and police dispatch 1/4 mile from the tent city. Posted by: Steve_in_SoCal at December 20, 2017 04:11 PM (bB4HN) 201

149 OT,
This is an article on the homeless in Portland: https://preview.tinyurl.com/y88oc5a4 There's a popular YT channel called "Everett Tweakers" which is just a camera on a homeless camp by the side of a highway in Everett, WA. The chatters give names to all the regulars, treating each day like an episode of a show, and they have some 'ron-worthy memes. Camera was put up by a business owner across the street who was tired of the crime and open drug use. But it's not as popular lately between the colder weather and the cops chasing them out of there (as a result of the negative publicity the YT channel has brought.) Worst (and funniest) thing I saw on there was a meth rat stealing a slice of pizza from a tweaker who set it on the ground (ewww!) and had his head turned. Yes, a real rat. It was freakin' classic. >>I am really not one that usually jumps to the end of the story to see what happens, but don't we all know by now that this was a set up from the Obama Administration and various agencies from the very beginning? I don't see why the machinations of these people continuing to obfuscate and hide is any thing to get excited about. The repubs want to put on a show, not prosecute.
Because what is going on in Congress right now actually is kabuki. The office of the DOJ OIC has had an active investigation into all of this for closing in on a year now. They have hundreds of investigators and the power to get things like FBI agents phone's and all their texts and any document related to the 2016 election and Hillary's email case. That is the reason we and Congress even know about this stuff. They have all the information and they have the documentation. That's why Rosenstein said to Congress the other day that he knows exactly whether or not the FBI paid for the dossier, because they do. The OIC is building a case. Thats what his report is all about and he has the authority to recommend people for prosecution by the DOJ. The process often works the opposite way, Congress initiates an investigation, turns up some information and forwards it to the DOJ for further investigation and prosecution on the underlying crimes if necessary. In this case, the investigation is almost done and we will get the results soon. Lying to Congress is nice but trivial compared to what is really being investigated and that is parts of the government being weaponized to take out members of the opposing Party. Why anyone is surprised that the DOJ is not allowing all the information out to Congress, that has proven to leak like a fucking sieve, before they are ready to bring their case is a mystery to me. They are teasing out little dribs and drabs to show where this is headed but they are not ready to drop the hammer yet. Posted by: JackStraw at December 20, 2017 04:12 PM (/tuJf) 211

80 You would think that the Trump appointed heads of the FBI and DOJ could produce the documents, you would be wrong apparently.
Why does Trump not announce that he has ordered them to obey the demands from Congress, and if they do not comply, they will be terminated for cause. Simple, and most Americans (or perhaps even Democrats) would have trouble justifying why our law enforcement agencies can refuse to comply with subpoenas from Congress, and then legal orders from the President. Posted by: Ace at 03:29 PM All joking aside, anyone connected to Trump being interviewed by the Mueller team shouldn't talk to them. They should just ask, "Am I in custody?" If told no, get up and walk out the door. If told yes, tell said investigators they're not saying a word without an attorney present. A little know fact is that if you are not in custody, you do not have to be given a Miranda Warning. I'd do that frequently, keep it friendly and tell them that they're free to leave right at the beginning of the interview. Most people will open up and forget all about the fact that I told them earlier that they didn't have to talk to me. Back in '97 I spent a week at the FBI's Miami office. My uncle was a SA at the time and near retirement there so I hung out with several agents over that week both in the office and around town. I had just finished law school and was going thru their lengthy application process thinking I might want to join. During that time, it appeared to be one of the most unprofessional organizations not at all what I had imagined. Several of the agents were worn out from claimed understaffing and underbudgeting and large case loads. Morale seemed to be in the tank. My uncle was a lib and highly political (I hid the fact I was Conservative and just nodded along thru his rants). It appeared that agents were letting politics influence the effort they put in their investigations - at least in the white collar crime dept. Talk about bursting a bubble.

the weakest links in Jack Straw's prediction are:
government employees doing the investigative work government employees being the target of the investigation I hope he's right, but I doubt anything other than a patsy comes of it. I'd be 100% sure except for the wild card that is Trump. Posted by: x at December 20, 2017 04:56 PM (nFwvY) 371

Posted by: kraken at December 20, 2017 04:30 PM (p9VvF) ----- Bullshit. You guy barely have electricity. Posted by: fixerupper ------------------ No really, we have those charging stations. If you plug in more than one car it blows the fuse down at city hall though. Posted by: Thelma the City Clerk at December 20, 2017 04:58 PM (2cuLk) 372

I like these people. Mostly. And I understand their frustration but I have followed this pretty obsessively since the beginning of the year and many have not. I think many are in for a pleasant surprise. Posted by: JackStraw at December 20, 2017 05:08 PM (/tuJf) 373
Slime bucket should be charged with perjury, I note Sessions is making sure he's protecting that piece of trash and Meuller. Anyone doubt Session has become part of the deep state?

362,
"Veteran actor Tom Hanks said there are similarities between President Donald Trumps treatment of the press and that of Richard Nixon and said he wouldnt attend a White House screening of his new freedom of the press drama The Post if invited. I musta missed this fuck protesting Fredo when he tried to get FOX News kicked out of the White House Pressers?" He's a well paid spear carrier in the Left's great scripted drama. If he doesn't say his lines as written he becomes an unemployable ex-spear carrier. That is a status that even money won't make bearable for so many in Hollywood. So they are marched out, script in hand, over and over. When in power they're scary, now they're boring and pathetic. Posted by: geoffb at December 20, 2017 06:32 PM (zOpu5) 376
As the investigation into Russia breaks new ground, Donald Trump and his allies are ramping up their baseless attacks on the FBI and senior Justice Department officials for allowing it to continue.
And the lack of any meaningful reaction from Republicans in Congress is reprehensible. On MSNBC, Nicolle Wallace - communications director for George W. Bush and senior campaign adviser to John McCain in 2008 ... ... at last ... the source of "the stupid party" Posted by: Islamic Rage Boy at December 20, 2017 10:59 PM (e8kgV) 377
They need to keep at it until the nail this slimy, leftist crook. He's a threat to the Republic.
