2 Good Morning Morons; today is Sunday, December 3, 2017. On this day in 1979 Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini became the first Supreme Leader of Iran. You can thank Jimmy Peanut for that. Worst foreign policy President in history before Obama.

4 And speaking of the Scankles' white wash Trump sounds off on that.

President Donald Trump again took up the cause of former national security adviser Mike Flynn Saturday night, complaining that Flynn's "life is destroyed" while Hillary Clinton escaped legal reckoning.

Trump tweeted: So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday "interrogation" with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times. . .and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?

Perhaps you need another AG.

38 Most Millenials haven't been alive long enough to realize that Kate's killer is not a poor immigrant seeking a better life but an asshole who stole the gun, shot her just because he could and lied about everything. They also don't realize that the verdict will not "push back against the hate" that they've been told Trump and the Deplorables are spreading but will create mucho mas hate and lead to poor immigrants destroying their own Disneyland breakaway State before the Feds ever bail it out. Obama put his foot on the gas but they were already on the highway to Hell.

56 Former San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi went way out of his way to rescue Garcia-Zarate (alias Lopez-Sanchez) from the Bureau of Prisons, where he was about to be deported again. They sent a detailed letter and a car and driver who drove for hours to fetch Zarate. They brought him back to San Fran, ostensibly to face a 20 year-old pot charge. And then they remembered: "Hey--we don't even prosecute current pot charges, let alone 20 year-old cases. You're free to go, sir."

"Car 54, where are you?" They're taxiing around foreign criminals, because San Francisco has a policy of clearing old warrants for them lest they be taken from us. This tender solicitude for the well-being of borderless felons is shocking, especially when compared with the callous disregard and total lack of concern for the safety of Kate Steinle and other Americans.

They threw her away like a piece of trash.

Helping foreign criminals murder San Franciscans has become a habit with them.

Examiner: "In San Francisco, on June 22, 2008, three members of the Bologna family were gunned down by Salvadoran national and gang member Edwin Ramos. Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16 were shot to death by Ramos as they sat in their car on a crowded street, in the city´s Excelsior District.

Ramos who is a member of the notoriously violent drug gang known as MS-13, shot the Bologna family to death because Tony Bologna had temporarily blocked the the path of the car in which Ramos was traveling, as the two cars made their way through an intersection. The Bologna men were returning home from a family barbecue.

As a juvenile, Ramos had committed felony attempted robbery and assault [and was not reported].

Shortly after the shooting, the San Francisco Chronicle reported, Juvenile Probation Department officials, did not report Ramos to federal immigration authorities for possible deportation because of San Francisco´s stated sanctuary policy.".......

If they get to pick and choose the laws they accept, then we also get to choose "sanctuary" from all their stupid and immoral laws. And they have a hell of a lot more of them.

I don't think so. I take hope in the fact that the three teachers terminated for what appears to be "speaking truth to power," were as black as the administrators who perpetrate this on our youth, and the parents (present and absent) who perpetrate this on their own children.

I can still see heroes as heroes, and am blind to the color of their skin. Maybe I'm still not a bigot...

________________

We have heard them, and they're full of shit. Protesting Trayvon Martin and Freddie Gray's and Mike Brown's deaths? Seriously? Martin was shot dead because he attacked a man for looking at him the wrong way. Gray's death was an accident which happened after he stood up in the police van instead of remaining on the floor where the cops had put him. Mike Brown was shot dead after he punched a cop, tried to take his gun, and then circled back around and charged at him, despite repeated orders from the cop to stop.

There's no "epidemic" of cops "murdering" black men. In fact, the real epidemic of crime in this country is being committed BY blacks, not against them. Crime statistics show that cops are actually LESS likely to kill black suspects than white suspects, despite the fact that blacks commit far more violent crimes than whites. Heather Macdonald has written a whole book on this subject. But the Colon Kapernick's of the world are not interested in actual facts, and neither are any of his dim-witted followers.

It's not an insult! The kneelers explained what their kneeling means, yet you still take it the wrong way, and that's on you. If you think the NFL and its players are insulting the country, that's your problem.

I can personally relate to this. Last month, a family moved onto my street. I haven't met them but I can tell they're environmentalists because one day out of every week (sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, I've noticed) they don't use their cars at all. The nearby city police say they won't look for anyone who stole packages off your front steps. Even if you have a video showing the perpetrator. I guess they have better things to do. One video shown in the local paper clearly shows the guys face, but that isn't enough I guess.
I hope my local town police take a different view of this.

I really don't have much to say to people who:

A. work away from home 8-5, Monday through Friday

B. live in an urban row home, with a porch visible from the street.

C. Order a new 56" flat screen from an online
retailer

D. Expect said Flat Screen to still be there when they return home at 7:30, after at least three hours of full darkness.

I still blame the thief for the theft.
But I consider the homeowner to be just a little bit less than proactively engaged in crime reduction.

Good Sunday morning Horde. Today is the First Sunday in Advent, and Fenelon has graciously asked me to do periodic Advent devotionals.

Today we start with the Gospel of Luke,1:5-7, concerning the couple who would become the parents of John the Baptist, who Isaiah the prophet foretold in Isaiah 40:3 - "A voice crying in the wilderness-- "Prepare ye the way of the Lord."

If you were writing a story about history's most important birth, a birth
that would be good news for all the people, a birth that forever would change the course of human history, then your opening scene probably wouldn't include an old woman who was unable to have kids.

But, then again, we didn't write the Christmas story.

Dr. Luke tells us, that it looked as if Zechariah the priest, and Elizabeth - the daughter of a priest - had been forgotten by God, particularly in a culture where children were viewed as a sign of God's blessing. Was there a secret sin they were committing? Or had God simply abandoned them? What was the problem?

Luke's Gospel tells us the problem wasn't with this couple.

In fact, there was no problem at all.

Zechariah and Elizabeth were called "righteous before God," and they
walked "blamelessly." That doesn't mean the couple was perfect, but were living in a way pleasing to God.

Perhaps they wondered what they had done, that God should withhold such a blessing from them. Was God indifferent to their pain? But the years of aching and longing were serving another, much greater purpose, though neither Zechariah nor Elizabeth could see it - not yet, at least.

We can hear them crying out like the Psalmist:

"How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?" (Psalm 13:1)

Even though this faithful Israelite couple must have felt abandoned, and without hope, God was right there all along.

He saw every tear, and, as we'll soon see, He was working all things together for their joy. And for our joy as well.......

While seeing Brian Ross getting a month-long time out is satisfying, that still begs the question: WHO wrote the news blurb, and ordered it to be on the teleprompter?

Ross is little better than a trained seal; if you gave him 'Mary Had A little Lamb" and directed him, he could make it sound like he was announcing the end of the world, or the second coming of The Christ.

As far as I know Ross doesn't write his own stuff, and doesn't have the authority to by-pass editors. So, who authored the lie that crashed the Stock Market?

4. Diverting package to local business with package locker for later pick-up

Our street and the next street over have the same house numbering, and the streets are both short 'A' words. We occasionally, but commonly, get our packages delivered to their address (but, strangely, not theirs to ours).

Several times I've seen a package get marked as 'delivered' to our house, but no package, and run up to their house to grab it before it gets taken in.

Had my license ready and everything, just in case someone said 'hey, you're stealing that package!' but no one ever has.

228 Obama cites 'absence of American leadership' on climate

Former U.S. President Barack Obama is ending a five-day international trip in Paris, where he had lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron and gave a speech to business leaders.

In a clear reference to his White House successor's threat, he remarked on the "absence of American leadership on the issue," making the audience laugh.

237 >>I still blame the thief for the theft.

But I consider the homeowner to be just a little bit less than proactively engaged in crime reduction.

Sad, but true.

But it's not just tvs at Christmas. At my old place in Denver I used to have a weekly mil delivery from a local dairy (seriously, still available in present day world!). One delivery was stolen, so I contacted them and they sent a replacement within a few hours. Delivery guy told me that there are some neighborhoods, such as Stapleton (nice neighborhood that borders poor ones), where there are people who follow the milk delivery truck (and this is in early a.m.) and swipe each delivery within minutes of it being deposited. Theft of *milk* and other dairy items.

So, while I can agree that some expectations are foolish, it's a symptom of an overall erosion of security.

This is so wrong. Fr. Martin has said some very concerning things over the last year. There is absolutely nothing stopping someone from tithing or giving to the charity of their choice or even handing cash over to a random homeless person. There is no such thing as group salvation.

While seeing Brian Ross getting a month-long time out is satisfying,
that still begs the question: WHO wrote the news blurb, and ordered it
to be on the teleprompter?

Ross is little better than a trained seal; if you gave him 'Mary Had
A little Lamb" and directed him, he could make it sound like he was
announcing the end of the world, or the second coming of The Christ.

As far as I know Ross doesn't write his own stuff, and doesn't have
the authority to by-pass editors. So, who authored the lie that crashed
the Stock Market?
.
.
.Is he high enough in the food chain to have *blessed* that article to be published? Not sure of the hierarchy but I doubt reporters have the authority to publish their own stories without review, so it was someone in the Editors office who signed off on that who bears ultimate responsibility IMO.
