Nancy Pelosi, Jim Clyburn-- Previously Defenders of the "Icon" John Conyers -- Call for His Resignation; Conyers Hospitalized

The man Nancy Pelosi called an "icon," and Richard Speck called an "inspiration," is now being asked to resign.

Before asking for Conyers' resignation, the racist Clyburn offered this White Devils Lie defense of him:



Incidentally, it turned out that Conyers' chief accuser was not a White Devil Woman but a black woman. Interesting that Clyburn went right to the "it's all a white devil con" defense, though.

But we're not done with the White Devil card just yet -- Conyers' attorney is also playing it, kinda. He wants to know what the difference between Conyers and the White Devil Al Franken.



Corrected: I initially believed Clyburn had posed the what's-the-difference-between-Conyers-and-Franken question. He didn't. It was Conyers' attorney. I apologize for the error.

It's a fair question, and one I'll be asking myself, but it's interesting that Clyburn keeps going to the same White Devil well, isn't it?

Catch me up -- racism is supposedly a bad thing, right? I guess that rule isn't as firm as I had been previously been led to believe.

Possibly because he had offered multiple racist defenses in a row -- one of which turning out to be a misplaced racist defense, as Conyers' chief accuser is black -- Clyburn went into Save Your Own Ass mode and called on Conyers to resign.

Maybe it's just that it turned out at least one of the women accusing Conyers wasn't white and therefore not necessarily a White Devil Liar.

Believe all women... unless they're white.

Racism is bad, right? I keep getting confused because "icons" keep saying some really ignorant racist hillbilly shit and they get a complete pass for it.

Conyers has now checked into the hospital with crybabyitis and a bad case of Sympathy Seeking and apparently it's all the White Devils fault for this "media assault."

Meanwhile, via @gloomhauer, Jen Rubin, who, like many "NeverTrumpers" is now simply a partisan liberal Democrat, looks past Pelosi's five days of praising Conyers as an "icon" and Clyburn's multiple racist conspiracy theory defenses, as well as the case of the unrepentant, still-not-being-pressured-to-resign Al Franken, and makes this astonishing claim:



AllahPundit refers to her as "Center-Right," which doesn't surprise me. The #SalonHot25 have to stick together in all this.

Guess Rubin didn't notice Kristin Gillibrand, who demands zero due process for college males accused of sexual impropriety, saying it's up to Franken whether or not he resigns:

TLS stands for "Transport Layer Security". It's used mostly with "HTTPS". Most browsers try to force "HTTPS everywhere" nowdays, but you can turn that off on a select few.
I've also noticed much slower responses while the browser waits to establish the handshake. Breitbart is the absolute worst.

I don't think rebooting or restarting the browser, your router, or the adapter has (or should have) any effect.

They originally tried to defend Conyers and Franken, and now the stories are getting so outrageous that their defense of him began to look outrageously absurd, even to the most rabid partisans. I imagine that overnight the Dem leadership heard from big donors and grassroots activists that if they didn't do something about this, the whole party was going to come crashing down on their hypocritical heads.

They started something without ever thinking through the consequences, and its working out for them about how you'd expect.
