As misguided as Weinstein is in this statement, there is an underlying point (different from what he's trying to say) - Those who make or enforce the laws ought to be held to higher standards of those laws.
Equality under the law refers to those of us who have to live under the laws. Those who make those laws and enforce them ought to receive stiffer penalties for violating them than I would.
This has nothing to do with different sets of laws for different people, which is the silliness that Weinstein was going after. The same law .. but, say, judges who break a law should receive no less than twice the sentence I would receive for breaking the same law. Those holding legal power need to be held to higher legal standards. That is only reasonable and fair.

Revenge porn should only be illegal if it was illegally obtained. If someone snapped a picture of his dick and sent it to some girl then he gave up all rights to it. If, however, she secretly snapped a photo of his pecker while he was asleep, or otherwise unaware, then that is "illegal revenge porn".

CRIMES and MISCONDUCT in OFFICE are a different story...and Conyers, Franken, etc. fall under that category.

Well, this is vindictive and slimy of her and if the law exists, he has every right to take advantage of it.
That said, I'm kind of conflicted about this kind of law. If you're pissed at someone and reveal some confidential information (like ID type info), or slander them, that should be actionable. But this isn't really slander or even anything akin to doxing. It's a visual equivalent of roasting someone in a public forum. But he's a public figure in any case.

No, it's not the same. The assault is not just a crime against an individual but a crime against society. This is abundantly clear because it is not the individual's decision to try the person for the crime, it is society's. This is why you can't ask someone to kill you. Even though you want it and consider it no crime, it's still illegal ... because the crime is not about you, it's about the act, in general.
When an officer of the court, for instance, violates the law that is more egregious than when a lay person does. That is just clear.
Of course, your argument leads to silliness like a cop having to be Mirandized when he's arrested ... as if any reasonable person would think that a cop is unaware of his rights as a suspect.
So, let's make this easy, if a judge is arrested and confesses, but was not Mirandized, should his confession be thrown out because he "wasn't made aware of his Constitutional rights"?

As I see it, Trump bragged about "getting right down to business" in kissing/grabbing women that were there expressly to hook up with the star. I would guess Trump had plenty to choose from, and at least spoke a little, had some "trial closes" as indicators, before trying to "close the deal".
That is nothing like Weinstein having women left with him, as an assistant exits and leaves her stranded, or other more aggressive "strategies".
But of course the MFM is at war, they will play the band hand dealt them by their team of rapists and molesters, and keep attacking and doing the "but Trump was worse" thing.

A fun movie we have in our VCR library is "Jason and The Argonauts" from the 1960's wherein the skeletons assemble as an army. It's neat and my husband still enjoys watching it.

i'll be reheating a Hickory Farms "Fire Glazed" ham later, make a small batch of mashed potatoes, and some "steamed asparagus ala Red", which i never got around to submitting for the phantom cookbook...open a bottle of really good wine, and that's dinner.
