Is a Bill which states the Congress Recognizes that the Constitutional Right already exists.... and should be interpreted in this manner.

Then get it signed by the President...

Then just LET some F'n Judge try to over ride BOTH other coequal branches of the Government.

There is nothing in the Constitution that says the Courts are the only arbiter of Constitutionality...

Because what you're doing, reading the law, and expecting people to follow the law, is not how DC works.

Cultural Marxism, i.e. Liberalism works like this: First, determine who the "victim" is though feelz. Then twist, torture, ignore and rewrite the law so the "victim" wins.

It's got nothing to do with a representative republic and everything to do with the tyranny of our betters in black robes, 'cause they're the wisest, wokest most justice giving folks, dontchya know.

So my Thanksgiving Day eating has been,1) coffee this morning, 2) soup for lunch and 3) a piece of pumpkin pie, later.

Given the weather and temperature, I suggested to Her Majesty that today would be the best day this weekend for a major scrubdown of the pens and grooming area in the kennel. Eight hours of hauling everything out, vacuuming, scrubbing, power washing and hauling stuff back in later, we got the grooming area and four of the six pens finished. Neither one of us wants anything further except painkillers.

Last two pens scheduled for Saturday. Thanksgiving dinner scheduled for Sunday. Just another weekend at Schloss Hadrian.

Meh. You could probably say the same thing about drivers licenses. Heck, there used to be serious differences among states with respect to the age one could even get a license but I don't think that stopped reciprocity.

No! Despite the deceptive first sentence. They state the following:

In large cities like London, cooking fat is known to be responsible for 10 per cent of small particles in the air, so researchers believe frying food could have a noticeable impact on cloud formation and rainy weather.

In fact, the effect is so large it could even have a cooling effect on the planet, and potentially slow down global warming.

They felt obligated to mention it, they slip it in, but they do not want to emphasize it for obvious reasons. They don't want people to think they can eat delicious food *and* combat global warming at the same time. But according to cutting edge research, eating bacon, fries and shrimp tempura can combat global warming.

I am in a supper club with about eight couples, we rotate homes. We were at my lawyers home, drinking the shit out of his booze. At about 10 PM, he comes down in his bathroom and PJs and says good night.

We stayed for another hour, just to piss him off AND the next time we had the dinner at his place we all wore PJ to the dinner.

He took it well.

Superior is brutally rough in a gale. Ore boats (they're 600-800 feet long) are actually rather lightly built, not true ocean going vessels. The lake got rough enough, and the keel probably snapped, loaded with thousands of tons of iron ore.

311 I can report that the Harris Teeter dinner was delicious (well, except for the sweet potato casserole, which had a weird taste). It took 8 hours to drive from DC to OBX instead of the normal 6, so I'm very glad that I didn't have to throw myself into cooking this morning. When we picked up our dinner this morning it did not look like enough food, but we had plenty and leftovers. I forgot the dinner came with a prime rib, which was really delicious. Everyone was very happy with the meal.

And I'm very thankful that Hillary Clinton is not president.

314 Old story, but by God, it's my story.
Family gathering at restaurant, BIL and I go out to smoke on the deck, looking out on Lake Erie. Get to joking about jobs your parents set you up for. My dad's best friend was a lodge brother with Captain McSorley. All I had to do was go down and sign papers, and I'd have been cabin boy. On the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Haha we laugh. And the waitress having stepped out to burn a quick one beside us says "Yeah, my dad was on that ship."
What a tiny town East Toledo is. What a tiny lake, Erie is. How hard it is, trying to crawl into the woodwork of the smoking deck at the Inn, there.

northeast to near James Bay and strengthened to
978 hPa (Fig. 1d). The pressure gradient tightened
over Lake Superior during this time and northwest
winds intensified.
At 2139 UTC 10 November 1975, the U.S. Coast
Guard Station in Grand Marais, Michigan, advised the
Edmund Fitzgerald that the radio beacon at Whitefish
Point was not functioning. The Edmund Fitzgerald
communicated with the Arthur M. Anderson at
2238 UTC to help it set the proper heading, toward a
position approximately 4 km east of Whitefish Point.
Between 2200 and 2230 UTC, Captain McSorley
communicated with the pilot on the northbound
Swedish vessel Avafors. During their communication,
the master of the Edmund Fitzgerald indicated to the
Avafors that the ship was listing badly, had lost both
radars, and was taking heavy seas over the deck in one
of the worst seas he had ever encountered.
The Arthur M. Anderson continued to follow
the Edmund Fitzgerald and provide navigational
assistance as the ships headed toward Whitefish
Bay during the early evening hours of 10 November
1975. At 0000 UTC 11 November 1975, the Arthur
M. Anderson advised the Edmund Fitzgerald that it
was 16 km ahead and about 2 km east of the Arthur
M. Anderson. The Arthur M. Anderson informed
the Edmund Fitzgerald of northbound traffic approximately
14 km ahead of the Edmund Fitzgerald at
0010 UTC. It was at this time
that Captain McSorley, when
asked about the ship’s problems,
indicated “We are holding
our own.” This marked
the final radiotelephone conversation
between the two
ships, and there was no radar
contact with the Edmund
Fitzgerald when the Arthur M.
Anderson’s radar was checked
again at 0020 UTC.
