The Morning Report 11/14/17

epsteinfriends.jpg

Good morning kids. While President Trump is on the tail end of an incredibly successful trip both for us as a nation and him politically - which has not and will not be reported on in the media/propaganda complex, the political and character assassination of Judge Roy Moore continues. As the meme from his alleged victims starts to crack and crumble, shyster cum hack cum media whore and professional momzer Gloria Allred has finally surfaced to trot out a woman who claims Moore raped her. Suffice it to say that Moore has of course vehemently denied these charges and has vigorously defended himself. Unfortunately, the GOP led by McConnell has almost instantaneously called for Moore to step down from next months Alabama special election. Sad to say, even Ted Cruz, a man that I supported and even admired has joined this chorus. For shame. There are some links to the political and Constitutional ramifications both at the state and federal levels should Moore win despite the GOP officially dumping him from the ticket.

In the lead, though, I will focus on two excellent pieces by two fine writers; Daniel Greenfield and Jeffrey Lord. I don't need to remind any of you of the trail of wrecked lives and battered women and girls left by Democrat politicians. And before someone claims two wrongs don't make a right, I firmly believe that this is an abject smear campaign to punish the voters for daring to deny the Chamber of Commerce another senate seat with which to thwart the President's agenda and the President himself. Let the chips fall where they may; unless and until absolute incontestable proof is given to any of these charges, I am standing with Roy Moore. War.

Of note are couple of interesting pieces about a real enemy of the people, the leftist billionaire Tom Steyer. Turns out he is a client of Fusion GPS and that it's revealed that his money is behind the law-fare campaign waged against our oil companies. He's also considering jumping into the race against Dianne Feinstein.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

UPDATE: The last link may or may not work. It's at Truth Revolt if it's broken.

19 Has anyone noticed that Judge Roy Moore's latest accuser alleges that he locked her inside the vehicle? That would only be possible for the rear doors of a vehicle, and the inside lockout would have to have been engaged in the driver's seat position. The front passenger side door still unlocks from the inside when these child door locks are engaged.

This kind of vehicle locking system was also quite uncommon on vehicles in 1977. Only found on luxury models at that time.

40 The only thing we need to know about Judge Moore is the timing of the allegations. These events are supposed to have happened decades ago, but are revealed only after his name is on the ballot. Anyone who falls for this has not been paying attention to the way the left and the leftist media work. Alabama voters will be forced to send someone to washington as their representative that does not, in fact, represent their wishes. The party that gave us Harvey Weinstein, Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, etc. wants to use thirty-year old reports in just the weeks between nomination and election to say this guy can't represent the voters. The left is at war with us. Recognize this and act accordingly.

Trumps Asian trip has been fairly successful. The MSM doesn't want to talk about it. So, you have "every single House seat and political race has morphed into a National Discussion ramped up to eleventy, as if it were a SCOTUS seat.". Happens whenever Trump has something good going on.

More noos; today is Tuesday, November 14, 2017. On this day in 1995 the first of the phony government shutdown occurred. A Clinton veto of the Republican congress budget forced the federal government to temporarily close national parks and museums and to run most government offices with skeleton staffs. The MFM called it a government shutdown and blamed Republicans. And they still do.

51 According to State Department statistics, since 2007, the U.S. has admitted 20,739 individuals from Iran; 7,232 from Sudan, and 812 from Syria through the Visa Lottery program Iran, Sudan and Syria are currently the only countries designated by the State Department as state sponsors of terrorism.

The program offers a lottery for up to 50,000 immigrant visas annually, drawn from random selection among all entries to individuals who are from countries with low rates of immigration to the U.S., according to U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services.

That random selection, according to the State Department, is through a computer-generated drawing for foreign nationals to apply for permanent residence, or a green card, in the U.S. each year.

The program originated as part of a bill introduced in 1990 by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., then a member of the House. Schumer's measure to make a set number of visas available to 'diversity immigrants' from certain countries was absorbed into a larger House immigration bill, which was sponsored by Schumer and 31 others, including several Republicans RINOs.

The bill was signed into law by RINO H.W. Bush.

I've been trying to pin down at least a five year window in which that occurred because this is not a new development.

I have to be careful not to lump this into my Unified Clinton Field Theory (everything that is awful in modern politics is due to Bill Clinton) but it sort of is. It's not so much Clinton as it is Carville and the constant campaign theory. Toss into the the Contract With America and the push back that Republicans have to take control of Congress in order the stop the Clinton agenda and that, to me, is the beginning of nationalizing every race.

That being said, I'm not sure what practical political choice the Republicans faced. It occurred to me the other day that many of the younger pundits on the conservative side have no living memory of the lack of power the Republicans held in Congress until, oh, say, 1994. Where the Democrats are now is where the Republicans were then. This may be something the upper age millenials know in theory but they do not know the reality of it.

I am wandering astray as is my wont. My point is that all House and Senate seats are nationalized has been around for decades and, yes, I do think that started in the early 1990s.

88 Alright, I read the Brietbart article on Moore and if the GOP pulls support. There is nothing in there citing to any part of Alabama election law on how Moore would not be elected if the support is pulled. The article is worthless in that regard. If you are going to write an article with that as a headline then it kind of means that you support the conclusion in the headline with something other than "he said this".

107 I guess my point is, the national news media organizations and related outlets have gone completely insane. I don't see how they can maintain this "new normal" of engineered outrage on a constant basis. I suppose anything is possible.

One really has to step outside the country for a while to really see it. I remember being struck about that back in the 90s on how sensationalist and "Jerry Springer" everything had become. I realize Chet Huntley and David Brinkley et al are gone, but the energy expended to keep up this constant drumbeat of nonsense, it's unfathomable they keep this up. I'd think people will just tune it out. That's what I did. Why give money voluntarily to people who simply lie about everything, and worse, cover up and spike stories that make Democrats look bad?

108 It occurs to me that if we want to understand what is happening in DC, it might be worthwhile to look at the employment history of senior congressional aides. I have to wonder if there isn't a caste of people who have made careers aiding and advising congressmen and senators, and if one of the reasons that so many conservatives go bad once they hit Washington is that the people they rely on are the same people that were working for the Dem/RINO before them...

If there was another employee still in the restaurant after the girl and Moore left and the girl didn't have a key, then why didn't she just go back inside and wait with whatever employee was still in there to lock up?

She didn't know when the boyfriend would show up; he could have been just seconds away from the restaurant, for all she knew. So why agree to jump into Moore's car?

but are revealed only after his name is on the ballot.

______________

Yes, and this latest woman says she had forgotten about Moore's attack, until the recent accusers triggered her memory of it.

WTF? A man attacks her, tries to rip off her clothes, tries to push
her face into his crotch, injures her neck (leaving it covered in black
and purple bruises the next day, she says), and that violent attack
somehow just slipped her mind for 40 years -- despite the fact that her
attacker has been in the news in Alabama, on a regular basis, for many
years?
.
.
.
.As I said yesterday this entire episode reminds me of the day care child sex abuse trials of the 1980s. It has the same feel and now were are even getting *repressed memories* as part of the story. And yes this is all a story, at this point none of it is true.

I am not sure how everyone in the msm and the liberals think they can influence this election but they are giving it their best shot.

161 151 Mornin' Horde. Alabama's Sec. of State was sort of under my radar, which I'd bet is par for the course (though it shouldn't). I will say after some research he served one term in Congress more than a decade ago, and while nominally GOP, he only flipped there around the turn of the century (man, it feels odd saying that about something in my lifetime). The man's mentors were Democrats, FWIW.

So, yeah, one of those folks I've tried to warn everyone about.

Most rape or assault victims don't report because they don't want to put a spotlight on the trauma or themselves, they certainly wouldn't go on tv with a sleazebag lawyer in a room full of vultures with cameras. I hope Moore fights and I hope his supporters don't give into this obvious political hit.

-----Yes. Her claim is that Roy exited the front of the restaurant where she was waiting, and that he pulled around back near the dumpster. Somebody locked up & somebyody could of come out to dump the trash before leaving, which is the standard last act of restaurant duty. And then there is the boyfriend that could arrive at any minute. Moore is many things but he is not retarded. She supposedly willingly got into his car, so there are better options of locale for the commission of a crime than the very restaurant she worked & is waiting for her boyfriend. This is really bad dinner theatre.

What facts are you waiting on after almost 40 years? At some point the accusation is simply not credible. If someone went and accused you of doing something 40 years ago without any evidence other than word of mouth, do you want people saying "Pep may be innocent but we simply don't know?"

---------------------
And, if you got a girl in your car and wanted to coax her into sex, would you do it in front of the place she works (where, as you say, someone would be locking up), or drive her away to a safer spot??

176 "Mattel announces Ibtihaj Muhammad doll, the first Barbie to wear a hijab"

She won a team bronze in saber at the last Olympics and got lots of media attention because she wore a hijab under her fencing mask.

At the same Olympics, Alexander Massialas won a silver in Men's foil, the first US individual fencing medal since Peter Westbrook in 1984. Massialas is still in college and was ranked #1 coming in. His father is Greek and fenced for the US and coaches his son. His mom is Taiwanese.

Daryl Homer, a black kid from The Bronx, then won an individual silver in sabre. Homer got into fencing through Peter Westbrook --another black guy and the one who medalled back in 1984 -- who has a program to get inner city kids into fencing.

But NBC just wanted to celebrate Ibtihaj Muhammad for wearing a hijab. When she gets the attention for being special as a Muslim, it means due attention isn't given elsewhere.

Yeah, I know that's what they usually say to excuse any discrepancies, but it seems to me that if a "victim" is coming forward with her story for the first time 40 years after the fact, she must be held to a higher standard.

This woman offered no corroboration of her story. She says she didn't tell her boyfriend, who arrived at the scene just as the attack was ending, because she was afraid he would do something. She says she didn't tell her parents or sister for years because she was embarrassed and afraid. She says nobody saw the black and purple bruises that were on her neck the day after, because she used make-up to hide them.

It all just seems pretty convenient that there is nobody, anywhere who can back up her story or provide some corroboration. And the yearbook thing proves nothing except that Moore signed her yearbook. It doesn't prove that he attacked her.

232 Sorry I don't find any of the stories credible.

Roy has been a controversial figure and thorn in the sides of both parties in Alabama for decades.

If there was anything to these stories they would have broke and been used in elections passed.

It's not like Alabama politics and the Donks and reps just suddenly became bare knuckled.

This is an op from jump street.

That's not the important question, whether reasonable certainty one way or the other is achieved.

The important question is that, lacking certainty, how should an AL voter vote on election day?

I'd like to see Moore elected just to see if this is a salvagable democracy or a sham.

Was he a horndog at 30? Seems more like he was one of those "southern gentlemen" types. Asking parents for permission to date a daughter. Taking them out and then maybe going for a kiss after a date or two?

It seems more like he was ready to settle down, at that point and as has been pointed out first he was in the military and then he went to law school so was it a case that he wanted to be established before looking for a wife which wasn't that unheard of. And all the women his age are likely already married, so he goes younger and its not some modern dating scene where they're banging by the fifth date.

That doesn't sound like a physical assault claim. 38 years later she recalls a thought she had ... not that she fought herself free, or that she had to say "no". Just her own thought.

Gingrich was just on Fox saying it comes down to voters choosing a person that will do what they want, and they have time to consider whether the accusations are a problem for them (shouldn't matter if GOPe wants a Democrat).

Frankly I think the party should die. It blatantly lied to the base over the last nine years and doesn't expect to reap any negative consequences. The last time they had an original idea was Newt's Contract With America which they immediately backtracked on the term limits part and sat by grinning as Gingrich was facing bankruptcy because of a string of fake lawsuits, similar to what drove Palin out.

361 PARIS (AP) Is a 13-year-old girl old enough to agree to sex with an adult? That's a question France is asking itself as the government prepares to set a legal age for sexual consent for the first time.

Twice in recent weeks, French courts refused to prosecute grown men for rape after they had sex with 11-year-olds because authorities couldnt prove coercion. Amid public horror, the government is drafting a bill to say sex with children under a certain age is by definition coercive.

Feminist groups plan a protest Tuesday to argue the age should be set at 15. Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet says 13 is worth considering.

375 So no child car locks on cars in 1977, and Moore wasn't a DA at the time. Remember it was anachronisms that caused the TNG orders to blow up in Rather's face..
_______________

Yes, the timing thing is odd. The yearbook inscription is dated 12/22/1977. Moore graduated law school in 1977 (don't know what month). He went to U of Alabama law school. That law school is located in Tuscaloosa, AL. Tuscaloosa, AL is about 120 miles from Gadsden, AL, where the restaurant is/was located.

The woman said yesterday that Moore first started coming into the restaurant to eat when she was 15. We don't know what date her birthday is, but she says the attack happened when she was 16. Somebody needs to find out what date her birthday is, and when Moore first moved to Gadsden, because unless Moore was driving to eat in a restaurant 2 hours away from his law school, he may not have been eating there during the time period she says he was.

Also, Moore's wiki bio says that after graduating law school, he returned to Gadsden and began a private law practice focusing on personal injury and insurance cases. Then sometime after that he moved to the D.A.'s office and became a deputy D.A. So how long was Moore in private practice after graduating? Couldn't have been very long, if he graduated law school in 1977 and was already working in the D.A.'s office by December of 1977. The girl said she knew Moore as the D.A. during the entire time period he ate in the Gadsden restaurant. But he couldn't have been a deputy D.A. for very long by that point in 1977.

We need more info about both Moore's and the accuser's bio's before we can figure out if the story she told is even possible.

The DC standard is Marion Barry ... doing crack on camera ... time in prison, reelected as mayor. His later slogan became "get over it".

The people's choice now is Moore (not the person's youth, but how he will vote in the senate), versus a Democrat that will open borders and vote against everything Alabamans are for.

Adjudicating allegations of 38 years ago via the election (which would only punish the electorate) is insane ... which is politics as usual for the swamp.

So, just the fake crying alone makes me doubt her story.

All this sounds too much like what they did to Trump last year a few weeks before the election. Claims from decades ago that are impossible to prove/disprove. 531 Jean: "...so, I default to the GOPe. This smells like Barbour/Rove."

I don't know about them specifically, but yes, I think this smells more like a GOPe than a Dem operation. See early stage Fusion GPS. The GOPe spent tens of millions on Strange and lost. They wanted anyone but Moore during the primary. The electorate said, "We're not taking your advice. We're not even backing Trump on this one because we believe in MAGA more than Trump does."

And then the supersonically fast coordinated attacks from the Right when they've gagged themselves on numerous Democrat offenses (see Menendez trial) when there are NO provable facts to this smear job but for the most inferential tales of suspect claimants? Guilty until proven innocent? Ha!

The GOP would much prefer a Democrat win as opposed to a bona fide, table-turning swamp drainer. They cannot afford not being able to buy seats for candidates who will owe them and the Chamber of Commerce right back. Moore is State-level Trump, and we see what the GOPe thinks of Trump.

532 Leftist-Feminists hate Barbie, so I expect that they will join us in condemning this lying Olympic champion's selection as a role model. No? It wasn't the hijab or the religion that won the Gold, it was the curvy muscle-meat below all that cloth that got the job done. She would have been so much better off to not be a simpleton of the religion, or of the Left. She had it made. Can you imagine the things that are going to be done to that doll on YouTube!

Age doesn't make it impossible to lie for personal or ideological gain.

535 "Senator Ted Kennedy, one of the giants of American political life, a longtime Senate colleague, and a friend. No one could have known the man without admiring the passion and vigor he poured into a truly momentous life."--Sen. Mitch McConnell

While in the Senate, 37 year-old Ted Kennedy killed his young campaign staffer while cheating on his wife and driving drunk and high on LSD. He abandoned her to drown alone and hid until he sobered up, wearing a neck brace for sympathy.

Yet his Senate pals all called him "The Lion of the Senate". The press said Mary Jo Kopechne would enjoy the welfare programs he passed. If she wasn't, you know, dead.

On one hand, you've got a corpse and long history of abuse. On the other, brand new never-before-seen charges, out of the blue from 40 years ago on an election eve.

McConnell found Kennedy perfectly fit to serve in the Senate. "Passionate". "Vigorous". A "Giant", said McConnell. Shame on him. Cory Gardner and Ted Cruz, too.

Roy Moore is being persecuted for Speaking Truth to Power.

Try it sometime, Mitch.

536 Lawsuits are Moore's very best option. Sue it if it moves it's lips. Other than that, for the time being, he's just going to have to take the heat and hope for the best. And then, after the dust settles a little, sue someone again just to put some punctuation on it. He needs to keep this story alive and breathing, no matter what the outcome of the election might be. Offense is the secret sauce.

537 So Democrats who have associated with people accused of sexual assault are to be condemned and attacked.

But a Republican who is personally accused of sexual assault is to be supported to the very end?

This is pure tribalism. There is no principle at play here. He's a sonofabitch but he is our sonofabitch.

The big difference is that the former are blatant truths, and the latter is an ugly lie, one made up by Gloria Allred (how aptly named) no less. And yet you fall for it.

545 514 Morning all...

Has anyone figured out why a 16 yo girl was carrying her yearbook to work in a restaurant on 12-22? That just seems odd to me. School year ended 6 months before that. Why lug it to work? Might be a logical reason for it but I have't come up with one yet.

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well, makes no sense.

547 What Moore is enduring is similar to the bimbo assault on candidate Trump.

The GOPe, if you pull yourself away from amateur detective status or alyour high moral perch, has framed this Moore thing to strictly be a referendum on whether the MAGA movement survives.
Aka Trump survives.

Vote ( or fund Moore) accordingly.

B.S. A dem/GOPe strategy of slander and smear is what will cost the seat. And the GOPe not standing by Moore and demanding proof vice accepting vile accusations at face value.

IF it works against Moore, it will come out over and over. They used it against Bork, they tried it against Clarence Thomas. It's getting old.

550 Gray is correct if the rinos and demorats pull off their smear campaign it will become the norm. None of us are safe, not just the politicians. Her story was BS, they didn't have automatic locks in that time period, the year book thing is nonsense. If someone digs deep enough I suspect this latest allegations is coming from some flake who's done the self same thing to other innocent men? Republicans don't want to win the seat, they want to lose all votes for Trump's agenda because it's against the ruling elites interests. They want to lose and Moore is their human sacrifice.

551 Commentators on this post are laying out an excellent plan for capturing and holding maybe 20 seats in the Senate, losing to whatever fossil the Democrats nominate in 2020, and becoming a complete irrelevance.

I thought the point of politics was to advance policy and ideology, not scream at the sky like those idiots on the anniversary of Trump's election.

And that is exactly what some people here are doing.

554 I could not believe last night on Hannity when Judge Jeanine said she BELIEVED the Gloria Allred accuser. I was livid. Is she so blind that she cannot connect Gloria to every single left attempt to smear Republicans? Can she not remember the woman who Gloria represented just last year in a similar smear against Trump? Does she NOT see the pattern I do?

I was sick. The Gloria Allred 'victim' is so typical of these types of accusations as to be laughable. I don't believe her cockamamie story, and it was obvious they needed to find another 'victim' when the NYT '14-year-old' story was torn apart by the woman's obviously troubled past connections to making previous claims about several pastors. She was outed as a NUT, so they had to find some more believable person.

What Judge Jeanine failed to do is her own due diligence in this new accuser.

1) The signature on the yearbook looks as if it were either forged or altered by someone with a completely different writing style. It is clear to me, and I am no expert.

2) The woman claims she 'forgot' about this incident until the other women came forward, but remembers details like what brand of shoes he was wearing.

3) The claim was made she 'voted for Trump,' but records show that she doesn't even have an active registration and it shows she didn't even vote last year (unless it was in a different state...?).

When small things make no sense, you MUST conclude that there is something fishy here. It may be true that Moore dated younger women (16 was the age of consent in Alabama, so even if he dated a 16-year-old it was perfectly legal...you can decide if this bothers you or not), but to say he is a rapist is a bridge too far for me.

JUST NOT BELIEVABLE.

Judge Moore met his wife at a Bible Study. Was known in the military for having very rigid rules of conduct - in other words, high standards for himself. His wife had a small child from a previous marriage that he took on as his own. Does this sound like a man who trolls for underage teens? He's been married for 32+ years and NO other more recent similar charges have appeared.

Does a predator who likes under-age or barely-legal girls and forces himself on them in a sexual way, just suddenly drop this behavior, marry a woman and then live a clean, Christian life after that? Not in the cases of serial abusers that we've seen in the news: Clinton, Weinstein, Spacey? Marriage did not stop Clinton. Having his own daughter did not stop Clinton.

Predators do not change overnight from creep to upstanding citizen.

557 If this is "War!" then as General Forrest advised, we must "know where they ain't." A set-piece battle on behalf of a man who admittedly made a habit of dating teenagers as a prosecutor in his 30's isn't that place.

Don't you realized they've been holding this ace in the hole for the general election. This is really the spot where you want to make war?
