FBI May Be Investigating Planned Parenthood Over Fetal Tissue Sales

But I was told this was a crazy rightwing conspiracy theory that had been debunked or something.

The FBI signaled this week agents may be investigating whether Planned Parenthood’s dealings in fetal tissue were legal.

Sources told The Hill the FBI has requested documents from the Senate Judiciary Committee obtained from the committee's investigation into Planned Parenthood's fetal tissue dealings. The investigation came after the Center for Medical Progress published a series of explosive videos in 2015 revealing the abortion giant was harvesting and distributing aborted baby parts for researchers.

CMP alleges Planned Parenthood was illegally profiting from the exchange of limbs and organs, and the House and Senate launched investigations into the non-profit's practice.

44 This whole awful business makes my blood run cold. Selling 'fetal material' is so gruesome on its face, so ruthlessly mercenary and Mengele-like, that I can't hardly stand it.

The major reason I did the ideological drift from Left to Right 16 years ago was because of abortion. The logic--to me--was (and is) irrefutable: a human fetus is a human being. To cut up a human being and sell the parts is worse than barbaric. Not even the most primitive and savage barbarians would do that to their own.

In JUST THE PAST TWO (2) WEEKS or so, and in ONLY 20 out of the 94 total U.S. District Courts (74 more to go and being researched), there have been OVER 800 sealed indictments filed, from DC to California, in Arkansas, Tennessee, Arizona, all over the country.

Perp is from Cape Verde -- so he's from Africa:

https://www.sott.net/article/367543-Man-acquitted-of-rape-of-11-year-old-girl-by-French-jurors

"The man, a Cape Verdean native, was 22 years old when he met the girl in the city of Nevers in central France, where she was on vacation visiting family. The girl, who is of Congolese origin, was playing with her cousin in the street when the man approached her and invited her to a walk in the park, Le Parisien reported. There, the then 11-year-old was undressed and subjected to sexual intercourse, she claims, saying she asked the man to stop and told the stranger her age. "

Both perp and girl were black -- so I guess for a variety of racist reasons, no crime was charged.

There was actually two separate cases -- don't know about the other one.

.One big issue with that, each individual PPP office is a separate entity and I doubt any single PPP office gets anywhere close to $750K from teh Fed in any year. 190 >>I do know he let Trump criticize the DOJ for not investigating when investigations were supposedly occurring. A simple heads up to Trumps staff may have been in order.

Maybe it was. I'm not convinced that Trump's twitter is meant to be taken literally. He often uses it to shine the public light on issues he doesn't think are being covered in the media fairly.

But in the strict context, no, the DOJ should not be telling the President about ongoing investigations that might have political overtones. I think Nixon learned that lesson the hard way.

And no, I don't think his recusal was a mistake. If you think this thing is political now what do you think would have happened had he been overseeing an investigation that included himself?

So far, this investigation has been more damaging to the left than Trump so I'm not seeing the problem.

191 This is one of the most jaw dropping stories I'd ever seen. Literally footage of people cutting babies apart and discussing how to part out and sell the bits. Joking about getting hot sports cars. Haggling over prices.

And the response? Eh, all fake, lies, selectively edited, nobody sold parts. It was literally having facts shown on tape right in the faces of everyone and they just denied reality. Who you gonna believe, Planned Parenthood's spokeswomyn or your lying eyes, Jesuslander?

227 "No, the problem is what we DO know.

And if 'I' know about it... and its clear that laws have been broken.... "

It's been one year since Trump's administration cane i to office. Real life investigations take time and they must be done with care to actually matter. You won't see lots of leaks about real investigations because the people running them care about the results, and not just using the process as punishment.

The narrative about Trump's people being traitors, idiots, and failures was originally a lefty concern troll meme (which found fertile ground among clinically depressed conservatives.) In every single case this narrative has turned out to be false. I don't have any reason to think the people who lie to me all the time are suddenly telling the truth about Sessions being a stupid lazy traitor. Why would I?
