Quotes of The Day

Quote I

Bore: one who has the power of speech but not the capacity for conversation. Benjamin Disraeli

Quote II

The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. ]Ronald Reagan

Quote III

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. C. S. Lewis

The "Pot Industry" and unforeseen automation

But while hundreds of thousands of Americans may be dreaming of long, lucrative careers as ‘greenfingers’, we are witnessing an unforeseen level of automation in the industry. The process of growing, packaging, selling and monitoring the sale of the plant is increasingly leaning on fully automated, ‘high’ technologies utilizing big data, the IoT, AI-powered robots, and drones, which could well limit humans’ roles in the future:

Let us venture a guess or two; lower labor costs and higher product profits?

Bonackers vs. Big Wind.

If Governor Andrew Cuomo gets his way, though, they and other commercial fishermen on the South Fork may need to look for a new line of work. An avid promoter of renewable energy, Cuomo hopes to install some 2,400 megawatts of wind turbines off New York’s coast, covering several hundred square miles of ocean; a bunch of those turbines will go smack on top of some of the best fisheries on the Eastern Seaboard. One of the projects, led by a Manhattan-based firm, Deepwater Wind, could require plowing the bottom of Napeague Bay to make way for a high-voltage undersea cable connecting the proposed 90-megawatt South Fork wind project to the grid. The proposed 50-mile cable would come ashore near the Devon Yacht Club, a few miles west of the beach on which we were standing. “I have 11 traps, and all of them run parallel to where that cable is proposed to be run,” Miller says. “My grandfather had traps here,” he adds before shoving his skiff into the water. “I want no part of this at all.”

A product too good to be true? Of course it was.

A Bay Area startup that promised to give music lovers state-of-the-art wireless earphones is instead closing its doors, becoming the latest in a string of crowd-funded companies to take customers’ money and shut down without shipping a product.

San Francisco-based Kanoa ran out of capital and shut down this week, leaving in the lurch scores of customers who paid $150 or more to pre-order high-tech earphones they never received. The company emailed customers on Wednesday to break the bad news, directing them to a letter posted on the Kanoa website.

North Korea has been a thorn in the side of the U.S.A. for years. Maybe wrestling will thaw out relations.

Whether he was in a dimly lit convention center in front of a few dozen people or headlining packed arenas around the globe, the thrill of a hot crowd was more than enough motivation to keep “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair in the ring decade after decade.

There was just one catch: The match would take place in North Korea, in front of a sea of people who didn’t know who Ric Flair was, much less what American professional wrestling was all about. It was the first time an American wrestling company would visit the "Hermit Kingdom," and what followed was a rare glimpse into a notoriously reclusive regime for a star-studded event that has been lost to time.

US Diplomats suffered hearing and brain injuries in Cuba. How can that be?

Second, I’ve instructed Secretary Kerry to review Cuba’s designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. This review will be guided by the facts and the law. Terrorism has changed in the last several decades. At a time when we are focused on threats from al Qaeda to ISIL, a nation that meets our conditions and renounces the use of terrorism should not face this sanction. Obama's speech on Cuba 2014

The JEF said Cuba was no longer a terrorist country.

Is Tesla going to enter the trucking business? 200-300 mile range trucks being looked at.

So if the report is true, would a truck with a range of 200-300 miles be enough to win entry into the freight trucking market? Possibly. A 2013 report from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado notes that “trucks dominate the market today for freight shipments under 500 miles, which account for almost 80 percent of all domestic freight tonnage.” Freight that needs to travel 500 miles or more tends to be transported by rail, waterways, or pipeline, at least if you’re counting by tonnage (the Bureau of Transportation Statistics counts oil and gas pipeline deliveries as freight

The ONT wonders if this science is settled? 4 coffees a day cuts your chance of dying early. If 4 is good, then 12 has to be better, amirite?

Drinking four cups of coffee a day significantly cuts the chance of an early death, research suggests.
A study of 20,000 people found heavy consumption cut the risk of dying young by up to two thirds.
The Spanish researchers, who tracked people aged 25 to 60 for a decade, believe the antioxidant plant compounds in coffee benefit the heart and ward off cancer.

August 28, 1968, Simon and Garfunkel started a five-week run at No.1 on the UK album chart with 'Bookends'. The duo's fourth studio album featured 'America', 'Mrs. Robinson' and 'A Hazy Shade of Winter'. via thisdayinmusic.com

August 28, 1972, Alice Cooper was at No.1 on the UK singles chart with 'School's Out'. Cooper has said he was inspired to write the song when answering the question, "What's the greatest three minutes of your life?". Cooper said: "There's two times during the year. One is Christmas morning, the next one is the last three minutes of the last day of school." via thisdayinmusic.com

Wendy Moore of Brixham, Devon should start her own restaurant or just shut the fvck up. Local restaurant bans kids under the age of 12.

‘Who on earth does Bob Higginson think he is?’ she said. ‘Would he ban disabled people from entering his premises? Or people of a particular race or colour or religion? I’ll bet my bottom dollar he wouldn’t.
‘Or how about the elderly? Ban them as well, would he? No, he wouldn’t – that would be ageism. So how come he thinks it’s OK to ban children of a certain age? This is blatant discrimination.’

One of our guilty pleasures is going out to eat. The last thing I want to hear is some little worthless bastard a disruptive child.

The men and women who keep protect their freedoms are not wanted on campus. Social Justice Warriors ungrateful asswipes.

“A four-year, traditional university is supposed to be a place of learning, of understanding, of safety, and security. However, there is an element among us who may be frustrating those goals: Veterans,” the article asserts, defending the claim with sweeping assumptions about those who have served in the military.

“Many veterans openly mock the ideas of diversity and safe spaces for vulnerable members of society,” the author contends, saying that “this is directly in contradiction to the mission of UCCS.”

The worst products ever for men.

The Prostrate Warmer-Invented in 1918, this device promised to “stimulate the abdominal brain!” (I am not sure what that is, although men have long been accused of thinking with it.) The warmer consisted of a 4.25 inch probe which was plugged into the wall and then inserted into the rectum. When plugged in, a blue light bulb lit up to tell you it was working to restore your manly vitality. It really brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “blue light special.”

America is running low on chicken wings.

t’s at least in part contributing to a looming chicken-wing shortage. According to The Wall Street Journal, whole-wing prices have climbed by more than a third in the last year, from $1.50 per pound to $2.09, all while the chicken wing remains a top seller for restaurants, and you have sports bars like Buffalo Wild Wings trying to cash in on the biggest sports spectacle in years, which means burning through even more wings.

Christian group sues The SPLC. The ONT is praying that Coral Ridge Ministries Media, Inc. wins.

Coral Ridge Ministries Media, Inc., which does business as D. James Kennedy Ministries, has sued the Southern Poverty Law Center, Amazon and Guidestar in federal court in Alabama. The complaint is here. The case arises out of SPLC’s designation of the Kennedy Ministries as a “hate group” because, consistent with Christian doctrine, it opposes gay marriage. Because of that designation, Amazon has barred Kennedy Ministries from its Amazon Smile program for nonprofits, and Guidestar has republished SPLC’s smear in its guide to nonprofits, which is heavily relied on by donors.

All is fair in love and the war on Christianity. Christian foster child forced to live with Muslim family.

The child, aged five, who speaks English as her first language, has been looked after by two different Muslim households in the past six months. She was allegedly encouraged to learn Arabic in one household and was begging not to go back there because "they don't speak English", according to a confidential report from the local authority seen by the Times newspaper.

She is said to have told her mother since the placement in Tower Hamlets, London, that "Christmas is stupid" and European women are "alcoholic".

The girl was reportedly told to remove her Christian cross necklace and was not allowed to eat carbonara because it contained bacon.

36 We have moved all the dogs up to the house. Rain is not torrential but steady. The water level has to rise by about 20 inches to get into the house, but it's a near-run thing. Will the rain move off in time? We're trapped here and could not leave even if we could.

I've cleared out my upstairs study in case everyone has to be moved up there. I've also shut off the septic and well.

It's like Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. When we bought this place we liked the fact it's on an elevation, we raised the back yard, we made good preparations to stay in place. Nature didn't care.

I'm so sorry to be this way but I feel so helpless; there's no way to fight back against what's happening to us.

This is one of those Nature's design sort of things that just gives me a satisfied smile. The part in dark red above, the technical name escapes me (vestibule something), forms a cuff around the opening of the vagina, on the inside.

Now, imagine you have a sock, or a sleeve, in which you want to insert something. You need to hold the opening of the sleeve open to help with that.

That's the function of that part. It's holding it open for docking maneuvers.

That's just wonderful.

Re one testicle hanging lower than the other. That is normal, and it correlates with handedness. If you're right handed, your left ball is usually going to hang lower. If left handed, it will be your right ball.

That seems to go with women and boobage and well, size well. THe left boob is slightly bigger in right-handed women.

150 Shooting at... the Cajun Navy. Who've come to help.

Bad manners aside, and that's spectacularly bad manners, consider that Boudreaux and Thibodeaux probably started shooting real guns around age four, and have been shooting them every week since then except for Lent, including hunting constantly, and are skilled in the tricky art of shot placement from shaky small boats.

This is going to end up with a bunch of dead Houston hoodrats.

Google is your friend. Become a pussy whisperer. It's all in a structure known as the "urethral sponge".

Here's the deal. It varies with women. You might call it an option package. Some women have a lot of the tissue, and in some, it just doesn't develop as much.

The G-spot business is part of that. It's apparently just a region of the urethral sponge that is very sensitive to stimulation.

There was some damn study, French, I think, on this. Some women just don't have the option package, unfortunately.

That French study (that I can't find easily) was concerned with that, too.

They got some women who could do "it" just about on command. I'd love to have been part of that study. For science. They analyzed the fluid, and watched in on MRIs and shit.

In womyns with the full expression of the option package, here's what happens. Stimulation of that sensitive area of the sponge tissue cause an involuntary contraction wave to form.

It starts by first relaxing the urinary sphincter a bit, letting some urine out. Then it contracts down, emptying the Skene's gland.

They open right at the end of the urethra.

The fluid is urine with SKene's gland fluid, which is about identical to male prostrate fluid.

That's what "it" is.

315 So, Andy, here's the deal with the URL not posting properly.

This site runs on Pixyware, a.k.a. "Minx 0.7 alpha", a.k.a. a bunch of overworked underpaid hamsters.

The hamsters are allergic to the letters eye-emm-gee in that order, and will take any such occurrence of that three letter combo out of your post, replacing them with underscores. (The hamsters will do other weird things from time to time.)

This breaks URLs for Web sites such as eye-emm-gee-you-arr.

The solution: plug the complete URL into tinyurl.com or bit.ly, then post the shortened URL not containing the deadly three letter combo. This keeps the hamsters happy.

333 There was one name he recognized, though: his father's best friend. Who, it turned out, actually was his biological father."

Princess Margaret's tomcat husband fathered a daughter by a friend's wife during a threesome weekend in late 1959 (when Tony was officially engaged to the princess). A DNA test in 2004 proved that Tony was the woman's actual father. The friend, BTW, had been asked to be Tony's best man at the wedding but was replaced because he was known to be bisexual and had recently been arrested for "importuning" another man for sex.

There are a lot of folks who wish DNA testing had never been invented.

360 I get those other orgasms]occasionally, have no idea what triggers them. I get them more often from erotic dreams than when I'm awake, but I have had them during intercourse. Totally different feeling, longer lasting, and the only way can describe it is that it's more bass like; it's deeper. And almost like a charley horse, which I know sounds bizarre but you can feel something contracting moreso than with a clitoral orgasm. Doesn't hurt at all, feels great. But very different.

Hope this doesn't get me banned; I am not trying to be nasty, just informative. Tried to keep my language straightforward!

I'm trying to remember. I think there can be *three* orgasmic pathways to the brain in women. It depends on that "option package" business. All women have clitoral pathway.

The second is the "G-spot"/urethral sponge pathway. But there was a third possible, too. Somewhere down there, and I can't remember it for the life of me.

The breasts also have a pathway to the orgasmic center, but this was a third one down there somewhere.

We men have only one, and you know where that is. But that's all we need. It's very high bandwidth.

But anyway, some women just aren't going to have the full option package, unfortunately, for some reason.

And if some sonic device was used, how hard would it be to make recordings of its output, or trace the sound to its source. Detecting and measuring sound energy, even sounds above or below the range of human hearing is not rocket science. I'm sure you could build a smartphone app to make it act as a sound level meter/direction finder. The fourth TX ANG flight from Galveston to Dallas is spooling up for takeoff in the next few minutes.

Each TX ANG C-130, is loaded with refuges from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey, who've all been camped out in official Galveston shelters.

The State of Texas is moving them to larger, more well equipped and accomodating shelters in the D/FW area, in order to open up local space for the flood of new arrivals from throughout the area.

This is the fourth flight today of the TX ANG C-130s, and the flights are scheduled to continue until further notice.

In case of sonic attack on your district, follow these rules
If you are making love it is imperative
To bring all bodies to orgasm simultaneously

Do not waste time blocking your ears
Do not waste time seeking a sound proofed shelter
Try to get as far away from the sonic source as possible

Do not panic, do not panic, do not panic
Do not panic, do not panic, do not panic

Use your wheels it is what they are for
Do not attempt to use your own limbs
Small babies should be placed inside the special cocoons
And should be left, if possible, in shelters

If no wheels are available metal, metal, metal, metal
Metal, metal, metal, metal
Not organic limbs should be employed whenever practical

Remember, remember, remember, remember
In the case of sonic attack survival means
Every man for himself, himself, himself, himself, himself, himself
Statistically more people survive if they think
Only of themselves, only of themselves, only of themselves

Do not attempt to rescue friends, relatives, loved ones
You have only a few seconds to escape
Use those seconds sensibly or you will inevitably die

Do not panic, do not panic
Think only of yourself, think only of yourself
Think only of yourself, think only of yourself

These are the first signs of sonic attack
You will notice small objects such as ornaments oscillating
You will notice [Inaudible]
You will hear a distant hissing in your ears

You will feel dizzy, you will feel the need to vomit
You may be subject to fits of hysterical shouting or even laughter

These are all sign of imminent sonic destruction
Your only protection is flight
If you are less than ten years old
Remain in your shelter and use your cocoon

If I remember you can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else

You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else

You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else
You can help no one else, no one else

410 whole-wing prices have climbed by more than a third in the last year, from $1.50 per pound to $2.09

What is the reason? Is the cost of corn rising? Or whatever is in chicken feed.

Posted by: Aunt Luna at August 28, 2017 10:15 PM (Zd2ZF)

Sounds like the market has become distorted. Chicken wings were cheap for a long time because there's not much meat on them. Then the wing fad took off, and now wings outsell other chicken parts.

Suggestion: places that serve wings, why not find a way to cook and serve the chicken legs in similar fashion? There's way more meat on legs, so they would take longer to cook, but also it would take fewer of them to satisfy one's hunger. So instead of a plate of 20 50-cent wings, you would sell 6 wings and 6 legs, for the same money.

411 398 I have yet to see any hard evidence that U.S, and Canadian diplomats in Cuba were attacked with a "sonic Weapon". All we have are anecdotal accounts of personal injury.

I hold no brief for the friggin' Cuban Commies, but come on, now, cui bono? Why would Cuba want to screw up a new opportunity for a diplomatic rapprochement?

And if some sonic device was used, how hard would it be to make recordings of its output, or trace the sound to its source. Detecting and measuring sound energy, even sounds above or below the range of human hearing is not rocket science. Best wishes for your safety, Hadrian. One encouraging note: the marginal rate for water level increase with rainfall gets smaller as the level rises. The area of inundation gets bigger with every inch that the water rises, meaning that each subsequent inch of water rise takes much more volume of water than the prior one.

----
Today I had CBS on before Colbert, and he was doing a whole show about Russia.

[eyes rolling.]

The MSM and parts of the blogosphere have realized they can make money catering to the mentally ill.

So, instead of saying "Trump is president, get over it," they are pimping Russia, impeachment, dementia or whatever else the Magic 8 ball says that day.

Their clickbait reinforces the mental illness of the Left, who actually become more entrenched in their collective delusions. They then go to the MSM to reinforce their delusions, and, to keep ratings up, the MSM continues to tell them what they want to hear.

/btw, the worst thing you can do with those having mental issue, be they delusions or things like alzheimers is to agree with their unreality.

Sigh.

So there's some sort of alternate reality that's going on isn't there?

There's one reality that has a USA filled with murderous white Nazi KKI people lead by a power hungry deranged President that is owned by Russia, and Kim Kardashian is the first lady in the hearts of the people.

In the other reality, there are violent black masked goons physically assaulting people while democrat politicians let them, the MSM caters to the fantasies of the mentally ill, and every interaction with a stranger could potentially end up being called racist at best, and physically attacked at the worst.

++++

I haven't been following the story closely, but from what I have seen, they are working the case backwards. That is, they have multiple people with theses weird injuries and they are thinking about what could have caused these injuries in multiple people. Based on what they know, they are speculating that they were cause by some kind of sonic weapon.

But, I don't know if we know they were injured while they were in a building. Maybe they were injured while walking around. I know nothing about what is possible with sonic weapons, but perhaps they can be tightly aimed. I also don't know if the effects were immediately apparent to the injured. There are sound waves that are inaudible, so the injured might not have any idea they were "shot" at the time.

If I had to make a shoot from the hip guess about who would do such a thing, the Norks would be at the top of my list, especially in light of that Vx poisoning in Malaysia.

--

FWIW, my guess is that they did not know that was the cause until much later.

The symptoms (headache, nausea and balance problems) could be from something like allergies with an inner ear infection. One doesn't immediately think "sonic weapons."

By the time they got really sick it seems they were already in the US, and had to go through a bunch of other options before they landed on "sonic weapons."

How can they prove they were attacked by sonic weapons, now that they are in the US? I'm not sure. As for dogs, that's good question.

American investigators could search the residences for a device, but perhaps the device is portable , and was operated out of a van that stood outside. Or perhaps it's in another residence entirely. And I'm pretty sure Cuba isn't going to let our investigators in.

IF it was just the US diplomats etc. that were impacted by this, I'd say "well, it could all be fake, because Trump hates Cuba." But it also happened to Canadian diplomats as well.

Well, they were in Cuban housing, and I'm guessing Cuba would not let our people in to investigate. Or sweep for bugs. There might be countermeasures, but since they did not know they were
under attack until later, they couldn't put them to use. If indeed they
exist at all. Sort of like "oh, you have third degree sunburns. Have
some sunblock."

I also don't know the timeline. The housing, etc, might have been arranged during the Obama years, and he might have just blown everything off, and been OK with no security sweeps at all. Not sure what the arrangements were on the Canadian side.

As for them knowing about these sort of thing.... right now, I'm down on the Alphabet Agencies. They know where to get hookers and blow around the world, but can't find Hillary's emails and are still busy investigating fake Trump bullshit.

Finally, we don't even know if "sonic weapons" are the true cause. Everything I've read makes it seems like it's a guess.

What drives the perverse leftist mindset? Inside each of their filthy little hearts is a 5 year old screaming "I hate you, daddy!" That's what makes no sense.

From what I can tell, the US/ Canada really gets nothing of substance from Cuba.

However... the Atlantic did mention North Korea and Iran.

There seems to be a North Korean embassy in Cuba; not sure about Iran.

So how about this little scenario: Someone (like Phat Boi) wants to get even with the US. So he sends some sonic weapons over to Cuba, and perhaps *pays* Cuba to let him do some "experiments." To get back at the US. By the time we figure out what might be going on, the weapon are already back in N. Korea.

As for the Canadians, they just might just be friendly fire casulaties, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Plausible?

564 With total leftwing Dem control of Congress, it's probably a forlorn hope, but FFS every cent of idiotic subsidies to this ridiculous "wind power" looting and vandalism should be eliminated. What would remain of "wind power" when the subsidies disappear?

Which leads to the larger question of ways for the feds to torture idiotic states like CA that enrich make-believe industries and impoverish their rate-payers with "renewable" mandates. Hope Pruitt and Perry have people working on things like this.

Could be. In which case, if on the receiving end, don't blab about it. Take discreet countermeasures, and deploy instruments, cameras, whatever, and try to nail down the source, and when you have 'em dead to rights, then go public.

Prayer books and meetings to find a plan
Deciding the fate of the family of man

Whatever are we coming to?

It is pretty overwhelming even when it isn't actively dangerous. The long-term nature of the storm is wearing on nerves and resources. It's natural to feel frustrated as well since you spent time, money, and effort specifically to *not* need to be worried right now, and it may not end up making a difference (although keep in mind that it really *is* still helping because whatever damage done will be less than it would have been without the work).

This, X1000! Have a back channel of some kind.

Hadrian, I understand you are living on a rural place like me. I really don't have to worry about flooding here, as I am on fairly high ground, in local terms. Might get a wet basement, with a torrential downpour or extra-fast snow melt. But no real hardship.

But if you could communicate with the Horde, or other trusted friends, then perhaps somebody could keep a virtual eye on you if you go radio silent, due to lost power, lost phone lines, or lost Internet. Run out to your place in a boat, maybe, or hire a small plane and buzz your house, looking for signals?

Well, do give it a shot. IIRC, all their presenters are volunteers, and the station is mostly listener-supported. Not a part of NPR. Usually a high pressure system will deflect an incoming hurricane, but this one had high pressure in front of and behind it, so it had nowhere to escape to.

The way this one has lingered and slowly ground along the shore is something I haven't seen in a lifetime of hurricane watching (what can I say, I grew up in South Florida, everyone there is an amateur meteorologist.)

611 Well, that's weird. I burned a finger on my right hand this afternoon while building the Cadillac of burn barrels. Brushed my hand against the hot end of a 7018AC welding rod, and it left a scorch mark. And now, I can't find it. Oh wait, there it is, on the base joint of my middle finger. A tiny burn, and it doesn't hurt at all. Which is good.

I found an old, old, heavy-weight galvanized steel drum, that had once held purple gas. I cut both ends out, welded on three old rusty brake shoes to serve as feet, and raise the bottom off the ground, and then made a grate of 1/4" steel rod on the bottom, with about 2" squares to it. It should allow for better air flow to the base of the fire, and cause it to burn with less smoke.

Yes, it is an issue. We all managed to get some reasonable sleep last night, but the couple nights before were low on sleep and tonight there's concerns both about the additional rain and about potential looters/thieves being seen in the area. Those whose houses flooded even a little have certainly gotten even less rest so there are a couple million tired, anxious people. Come to think of it, it shows how awesome the people here are in that they can be tired and anxious without collectively freaking out.

627 Listen up, everyone still sheltering in place:
Face it: You will most likely have to leave at some point.

GET YOUR PAPERWORK BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

Damage claims will be expedited with proper ids, copies of insurance coverages, deeds, vehicle titles, rental or lease agreements, etc. Get as many documents of this nature that you can locate before you leave!

This will greatly assist you and FEMA agents in the months to come in documenting, filing and awarding your claims.

Meanwhile, stay safe, and plan your move as well as you can.

No Joke.

Bless you.
Good luck.

Just re-watched the movie "1941" and I laughed my ass off when I was a kid. It was still funny.

Notes:

-The Japanese "sank" a Ferris Wheel. *HAH!*

-The line, "Look! A baby wolf!", to distract someone still works.

-When Ned Beatty fires through his own house to sink a Japanese sub is funny the first time. (His wife starts clearing everything she values from the kitchen).

-The second time, his kids fall through the ceiling on their bed, (one with a pot on his head and the other with an Indian headdress). One says, "Wow! That was fun!" The other says, "Let's do it again!" *HAH-HAH-HAH!!!*

-John Belushi gets to yell, "Eat lead, Slants!" ...as he flies through the city, going after Zeroes and the Japanese sub.

-Wendie Jo Sperber was fuckable for years after that. I was just a kid, but I stand by that statement.

-Every time John Belushi made a sudden move, for some reason there was a "squeaky-toy" noise.

-Dan Aykroyd, John Candy and Frank McRae are in a tank. When Aykroyd takes a face full-of "backfire", his face is blackened and McRae tells him to "Get in the back of the tank".

I'm a simple man, but it takes a special sort of something to make me laugh.

That movie makes me laugh.

642 Four cups of coffee a day indicates a pretty relaxed lifestyle. One or two glasses of wine a day would indicate the same. Meditating daily would indicate plenty of leisure time. Four shots of Red Bull and two packs of cigarettes a day probably indicate a short life span. Smoking a pipe daily probably indicates longer lifespan.

647 Amongst the cast...

-Dan Aykroyd
-Ned Beatty
-John Belushi
-Lorraine Gary
-Murray Hamilton
-Christopher Lee
-Tim Matheson
-Robert Stack
-Treat Williams
-Nancy Allen
-Eddie Deezen
-Frank McRae
-Slim Pickens
-Wendie Jo Sperber
-Michael McKean
-John Landis
-Mickey Rourke

(uncredited)
-James Caan
-Penny Marshall

This was released in 1979 and critics pan it because they wanted Belushi to take a larger role.

The All-Star cast was enough, but I deem it genuinely funny after years and years of scrutiny.

I am assuming that cell phone coverage is still operational in the area.
With phone based navigation app, it would be real easy to drop a pin, or whatever equivalent there is to mark a hostile geographic location for both avoidance by the remainder of the boat operators, and law enforcement notification.

664 "That movie makes me laugh."
Caddy Shack was tied together by the Gopher and the Grounds Keeper assistant.

1941 didn't have a Gopher. ie A character that had normal motivations that you pulled for. 1941 was a collection of cartoon shorts.

The Girl was very sexy but she had no suitors worthy of her. Her airplane fetish was weak tea in comparison to the jock strap fetish of Porkys.

The actor playing Maddox made the others look like they were acting. His scene was the only memorable one for me.

Maddox:
That's it, let me hear your guns!

Bill:
My guns?

Maddox:
I wanna hear what they sound like, let me hear em! Yang yang yang yang yang yang!

Bill:
[fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

666 Baltimore Sun: The new narrative, forget Russia, mostly.

Another retired general, former CIA Director James Clapper, has openly
expressed concern about Mr. Trump's mental state and fitness to be the
sole guardian of America's nuclear arsenal. More Republicans in Congress
like Sens. John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins and Jeff Flake
are echoing this or other worries.
