Ed Klein Claim: A Plea Bargain Is Being Prepared for Hillary Clinton

I don't link Ed Klein because so many of his exclusives remain "exclusive" -- that is, no one ever hears of them again -- but I figure that people are going to talk about this, so I'll post it, with the caveat that I don't believe any of this.

Supposedly, the deal would be that Hillary would admit she committed a crime, but the government would then agree to not prosecute her for that crime, or for anything to do with Clinton Foundation donations.

I expect this will be another Ed Klein One Day Wonder. I do not expect to hear of it again.

More Interesting: A claim you've probably read before, that Hillary's emails aren't "missing" -- the Russians hacked them, and the US got them by intercepting Russian traffic.

And thus any serious probe of her emails will result in them turning up.

I can understand the optics of something like that if you start getting into small minutiae, but what Hillary did with her foundation pay-to-play, plus the classified emails and the secret server, etc.

Actually, it does. There are programs for the rehabilitation of convicts, and if you can speak the lingo convincingly, you get to lead Bible Study Groups, and you get brownie points from the warden because you are helping to keep the convicts calmed down and working towards a better future on the outside.

195 No. That's just not happening. Not after what Trump said during the debates. He's been trying to accomplish every one of his promises, and I take that one as a promise: "You should be in jail."

I waited ALL election season to hear Trump say that on live TV, and I wasn't disappointed.

He will not let her off easy. Not in a million year. I hope he can also nail Obama and his gang as well.

Must be done. Crimes were committed. We are not a banana republic. Doesn't matter who you are, the law is the law in this country.

I agree this is theater. Assuming Hillary really does want to be ordained, it's to give her community creds along the lines of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. She'll only rarely see the inside of a church so can make political speeches.

I'll eat a hat if she renounces abortion and starts spreading the Gospel.

198 The NSA already has and has always had all of Hillary's emails. At the very least, they have copies of all emails sent unencrypted in the US for the last seven years as disclosed by Snowden - and Hillary's email set up was unencrypted.

Any time the President wants those emails he can punch it up, and he can declassify it so she can be prosecuted on it.

As far as supposed gentility goes, BS. First, Republicans don't get the benefit from that, so sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Second, even if they did, there's a line and the line has been crossed. Hangin's too good for them.
