Democrats Begin Talking Up the Unthinkable: Putting Granny Rictus McBotoxface Out to Pasture

First, an artist's depiction of the Handel victory in #GAO6:

The stubby, dull knives are out for Nancy Pelosi, with one Democrat going on-record to say that if she were on the ballot for leadership right now, he wouldn't vote for her.

Another Democrat said it's time for the White Witch to go back to Narnia to start a hashtag campaign against Aslan's "#lionsplaining."

Meanwhile, it's Excuseapalooza on the left.

Cashew-faced Queen of Conspiracies Rachel Maddow is stealing a play from Milli Vanilli and Blam[ing It] On the Rain -- she's deep in the fever swamps exploring the "partisan implications" of some light rain in GA-06 yesterday.

Meanwhile, goofball feminist and leftwing blogger turned NYTimes columnist Jill Fillopivic (gee, isn't it strange the Times only hires leftwing bloggers?) claiming Handel was a huge "bigot" and America as a whole cannot be turned away from voting from such bigots.

So, along with #Hacks, the excuses now include "bigotry," Americans' inherent vileness and stupidity, and God Himself. Pretty much standard prog responses.

One more bit of gloating below, thanks to Tyler O'Neill of PJ Media's Hot Mic.

Content warning: may contain scenes involving mutual reciprocal homewreckers Joe and Mica.

And some more Bonus Gloating:

Rush had an interesting point today (as he usually does and often).

It's not that the MFM/Left/Dems are angry and that they feel they must retool their policies to win. They're angry because for the first time in a long time, they're unable to fool the public and destroy a candidate.

15 It's amazing that Pelosi has hung to leadership as long as she has.

Her hubby was junior partner to Bill Hambrecht, and so for decades Nancy has been able to tap into Bay Area tech moguls for donations. Power of the purse, baby!

24 I love that the face of the losing Democrat party is...the "news" anchors of CNN.

We should never let up on this. As much as it was effective and may still be to associate Nancy Pelosi or Hillary with the D's, they will come and go with time and the waning supply of the blood of virgins.

But the media, as a monolith, is a better target imho. The more we can discredit---and they resoundingly have earned this--the messenger, then it won't matter which D politician is on screen mouthing the talking points. The Average Voter will have already learned not to trust that media source to begin with.

28 Well that's not good. Sounds like someone is starting to smarten up. I was hoping they'd keep tripling down for some time to come.

Getting rid of Pelosi should've happened years ago.

Still hope abounds! Because what is likely to happen is that they'll install someone just as tone deaf and dumb. Hopefully, it's one of their hate whitey pets.

And really getting that emotionally invested in this race was stupid. It's just that they're all like five year olds who need that constant attention from Mom or they sink into a crabby, crying mess. It was one seat in an area not amenable to Democrats. Now if you started losing races in hard blue areas, then you ought to worry.

You would need the Democrat Congressmen to kick her to the curb. Only problem is that the ones there are likely all in safe locations where they can let their commie flag fly.* The ones that really need to kick her out aren't there because they keep losing the elections.

Now they run as leftists and governing as national socialists.

But you can't go back to the old ways with a leader as into national socialism as Pelosi.

94 Reading the link, and then the twitter link on the page, goes back to the Democrat twitter page, where they're talking about Pelosi.

Of course, all the typical excuses abound. But they are also quite delusional. Hillary stood up to the RUSSIANS!

Sure she did. That's why the Clinton Crime fund got all that money for facilitating the sale of that Uranium mine in Canada to Russian interests.

And the Democrats like Cuomo want to stop fracking, because the price of oil is just too damn low now!!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. More laughing, actually. There's no crying at AoS HQ

And no, I WANT Pelosi to stay on and continue to be the saggy, botox face of the Democrat Party.

100 Ridding themselves of Pelosi would be a small, staggering step in the right direction for Dems, but only a small one. They never should have voted her back into power to begin with. But mark my words, if this gets any more momentum expect a huge squirrel to show up. the Democratic party leadership is used to power, at any cost, with any method, and will not give up their position and money without a hell of a fight.

This is a group of people who blatantly and shamelessly threw their own Primary election to shove a horrendous hag into the front runner position because she was part of the machine. These are people who, if what I fear is true, kill to get their way and silence foes. They're essentially a massive criminal organization. That doesn't go away clean and easy.

From recent glowing profile in Rolling Stone:

Maddow goes on like this,
describing the other stories she finds fascinating, or more
specifically, pinpointing the most under-reported, yet possibly
important, facet of the stories that interest her, and then drilling
down, which can be riveting, as well as exhausting.

But that's just how
Maddow's brain works. "What's remarkable about Rachel is that she actually is that brilliant,"
says her senior producer Laura Conaway, who has worked for Maddow since
2009. "The thing about this show is it starts with digesting an
enormous amount of information every day, and then basically throwing it
all out and saying, 'OK, that's what everybody already knows.' It
requires attention, and Rachel is supremely gifted
at paying attention."

Maddow's friend and fellow MSNBC host Chris Hayes, who considers her a mentor, compares her to LeBron James. "No one can do what she does," he says. "She is a master of the medium in a way that is just unparalleled --- she can figure out how to tell a story and do things she cares about in
ways that grab people's attention, without just going to where the
attention is. And she does that every night. To produce what she
produces every day is kind of incomprehensible to me, actually."

Zell Miller was a democrat from Georgia a while ago, wasn't he? He
spoke at a Republican convention, and wrote a book, "A National Party No
More" about his feelings on the democrats who had abandoned him, as the
dems had done to Reagan before him.

Zell didn't anticipate Barky coming out of nowhere (well the swamps
of Chicago but whatever) but his point was that the dems were going down
the wrong path and chasing the wrong things.

McCain-Feingold was the far left's (including Soros') of buying the Dem Party. The funding structure of the Party made them vulnerable to dependence on a network of shady funding groups (like the ones Soros' OSI built).

McCain's foundation got a million for that IIRC.

317 Just to throw an actual Data Point in the race - in the 2014 Texas Governor's race, Republican Abbot took 50% of the (legal) hispanic vote.

They weren't that impressed with the pretty little white girl who told them they had to vote for her, because racist.

In Texas, Black voters pull the all-dem handle every time, and in any dem primary, will ALWAYS vote for a black face over a white or hispanic face. Doesn't matter what they say.

Hispanic voters will usually vote for the Mexican in the race, but if it's between two gringo's, they don't much give a shit. And they don't vote for blacks at all. Yeah that sounds harsh, but the numbers bear it out. Democrats pushed this identity politics thing, now they get to live with all the ugly consequences of it, including the fact that mexicans are pretty damned racist.

349 It appears that Ossoff may have had too much money ...

"I have received non-stop calls, texts emails for two months solid. It's harassment honestly," local artist Sydney Daniel told Business Insider. "I liked Ossoff before but now I don't want to vote at all because of how obnoxious and ruthless they have been."

"Phone Calls, junk mail, emails, and guys coming up to my door banging for a vote," Rebecca Honness, a lifelong resident of the district, said as she described the aggressive campaigning. "That was truly scary... having someone knock on my door about an election. ... I've never had that happen before."

Monet Jackson, a local car saleswoman, said she's been inundated with campaign materials.

"I've had mail coming to my apartment door almost every day last week," Jackson told Business Insider. "Received multiple texts and phone calls to see if I've voted. I voted and still received a text the next day to see if I had voted."

---

Hunter Murphy, a local car technician said he sees election materials "everywhere" and described the ads as "downright childish."

Murphy's criticism of the election echoed what many told Business Insider -- that not only the volume, but the nature of the election has tried their patience.

"I see ads nonstop," Murphy said. "My favorite one to hate is an ad that is done in a sort of lifestyles of the rich and famous parody, complete with shoddy Photoshop animations. It contains no information about the candidate whose campaign is attacking the other, and comes off as a high school prank meant to embarrass. And I get to see it multiple times a day."

---

For Daniel Lim, a local student, the ads are repetitive yet confusing. After a deluge of calls, targeted ads on music streaming services, and outreach from separate organizations, Lim questioned the tactics and money spent.

"I support Jon Ossoff but I definitely think that a more coordinated marketing campaign could have saved a lot of the campaign's money and time," he told Business Insider.

One trend I've noticed in my 17th largest market mid-western city: White hipsters feel really cool moving into lofts/gentrified condos. They think of themselves as urban pioneers. Another demographic: old, retired, white libs. The problem arises when the hipsters start having kids. Once they get a good look at the public schools/asylums, white flight becomes trendy again.

Think about the demographics of US inner cities today:

1. Singletons, not married. Especially singleton women. Also younger and not so wise.
2. Childless. Family raising makes people more conservative. Also younger and not so wise.
3. Gays. Some can be OK, but most seem to perversely hate Judeo-Christian civilization.
4. Ghetto people bred and taught to hate whitey for all their problems and suck up more free stuff.

---

They just had a press conference.

And yes, they named him as a lone wolf.

Came into US via Lake Champlain.

Hung out at the airport for a while, went into the bathroom with bags, came out and went jihadi.

Took three or four guys to handcuff him, including the victim.

On the positive side, Islamophobia was not mentioned in the press conference, and they did mention Allah Akbar.

I think its a combination of 3 things:

1) Fascination with polls as an attempt to predict and know what comes next
2) Patterns, that's what they've always done, polls have been a part of political reporting since the 50s.
3) Wishcasting. they skew the polls then hope they're true.

542 Off-topic Re: the sidebar and Japanese honorifics

-san is appended to names when you address someone formally in Japanese, which is pretty much how you address everyone you aren't very close to, but are of equal stature with. Teachers usually get addressed with the honorific -sensei, or in more archaic context a master might be -shisho or some other more unique title.

In a hierarchy, like a martial arts class, the sensei is not very likely to be addressing the students with -san, unless they've earned a great deal of respect. He would probably use an honorific like -kun or something of that nature or perhaps even -chan if teaching young children. Students would address each other with -sempai towards senior students, -kouhai towards junior students, and probably something like -kun towards those of the same age and seniority as themselves. Other students wouldn't use -san towards each other unless they wanted to speak very respectfully of that individual (ie an accomplished senior or peer that you really look up to).

So the problem is not wanting to be referred to as a teacher, which would be even more absurd, but demanding a very respectful honorific be used, without having achieved anything to earn that level of respect. In particular it seems the instructor used English honorifics of miss and mister towards the lower ranking students and -san for his higher ranked ones, and the girl complained that the English terms were too "gender binary" and demanded to be referred to the same way he addressed his more accomplished students.

547 Every time Democrats start talking I'm reminded of the scene in That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis where the Merlin character takes away the ability of the nasty science guys to communication and they start talking pure nonsense.
It exactly describes what is happening in the Democratic Party. Sadly there still are deluded souls who think the Dems are talking sense.

I then say I've always been lucky. I tell them the truth, that I goofed off until I was 35 and retired at 60. (Always get that retired at 60 in there, that kills them).

Then I say, "And you know what, once I got started, the harder I worked, the luckier I got!"

585 FenelonSpoke, liberals have to survive in a world on cognitive dissonance. Their mental functions are not normal as a result.

They have dehumanized anyone who disagrees with them. This makes it OK to hate others, attack them and even kill them for those who have gone that far overboard.

They don't want us in their party, they don't want to convert us, they want us dead or incarcerated.

But until a large number of us are dead they can't outvote us. This is worrisome as more of them will eventually figure this out.

590 In a weird way I think getting rid of Pelosi would be a disaster for the Democrat Party and therefore, a good thing for us.

She has amazing power and control. Everyone is afraid of her. She almost single handedly rid the party of Blue Dog Democrats after forcing them to vote for Obamacare.

Yeah, she is old and perhaps senile, but crazy like a fox. There would be a lot of damaging infighting with the Party. Again good for us.

The Democrats, are like the Russians, or the Chinese, they need a strong central authority.
