Overlooked Part of Comey's Testimony: 15% of Those Under Current Terrorism Investigation Came to the Country as Refugees

The #FakeNews media isn't just about the untrue things they report, but the true things that somehow elude their notice.

Comey's testimony last week revealed the consequences of this lack of information [that is, information about a refugee's background, which is either spotty or entirely nonexistent -- ace]. While most of the time he was asked about Hillary's e-mails and Russia, Russia, Russia, Sen. Tillis asked about terrorism investigations.... Comey responded that out of 2,000-plus "violent extremist investigations … about 300 of them are people who came to the United States as refugees."
So 15 percent of the FBI's terrorism cases are refugees -- far more than their share of the immigrant population, let alone the general population. And that denominator of 2,000 presumably includes people with no immigration nexus at all -- skinheads, antifa, Klan, environmental and animal rights extremists, et al. So the refugee share of immigration-related terrorism investigations is more than 15 percent, perhaps much more.

If you didn't follow that last bit, he means that when you say that 300 of 2000 current terrorism investigations came as refugees, you can't assume the 2000 are foreign born. The 2000 might refer to all active terror investigations of both domestic and foreign-but-present terror threats. Thus, he means, as regards foreign terror investigations, the 300 we know came as refugees might be much, much higher a percentage of that smaller pool.

Exactly. Lauren Southern did a video where she walked through the Calais "jungle" and asked "Where are you from?" The results were something like 1 from Syria and 193 from elsewhere.

You see this in other refugee stories, such as the ones on them fleeing to Canada because: Trump. The main guy profiled in one article was from Africa and he traveled through 5-6 countries (over several years) before getting to the US, and now fled to Canada. Oh, and he left his wife and kids behind in his "dangerous" town. If it's dangerous why leave your infant baby there with your wife???

Speaking of which, I accidentally caught about 5 or 10 minutes of Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn on Graham Norton. Orlando Bloom was also a guest.

First of all, Amy Schumer is a large, fat monster. She was wearing some black spaghetti strap number that barely contained her. It was really nasty. Did I mention she's HUGE? She was seated next to Orlando Bloom and she was massive compared to him.

Anyway, Bloom was talking seriously about a movie he did with Noomi Rapace. Everyone was sitting there, listening to him talk about the movie and the characters like any one of us would pay attention to someone speaking - looking on, engaged, etc. Schumer was sitting there with a look on her face like he was speaking fucking Chinese. It was bizarre. She looked high, drunk or both.

Then Bloom mentioned how his character seduced Rapace's character. Well, that was enough to draw the portly monster back into the conversation. She then asked, "How?" It was again, for lack of a better word, bizarre.

During this whole interview, the only thing that could engage her and animate her was sex. I could tell those around her were like, "WTF?" It was a spectacle.

Did I mention she's really big and fat?

What is supposed to have been constructed with all those "fees" that utilities have been charged is a depository for low level waste and spent fuel. Hanford is a government site that is storing high level shit left over from making bombs. And that was what that tunnel was that collapsed. They had buried a bunch of waste in that tunnel.

No telling what they have buried in those tunnels so I couldn't tell you what the half life is. But most of the isotopes are really short lived. But a lot of them are long lived. Generally after 5 years spent fuel has decayed enough for it to be transported in special casks. But if you took it out of those casks it would kill your ass in short order.

IIANM they were doing a refueling with the head off. They have to pull the control rods on all the elements they are changing out. But I don't remember if it was a violation of procedure to pull them by hand because then you have no safety features to keep that shit from happening.

Doesn't work that way. You lose half the remaining radioactive atoms each half-life period. 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc.

311 There is an old thumb rule that I read in a text-book on getting rid of spent fuel. It said that after 300 years out of the reactor spent fuel was less radioactive than the original Uranium that was mined.

It's sort of like a football field. Covered with radioactive material. After X amount of years, you're at the 50 yard line, then the 25 yard line, then the 12 yard line, then the 6 yard line, then the 3 yard line, then the 2 yard line, then the 1 yard line, then the 1/2 yard line.

All short and deadly exposures. Just less mass.

The koran verse at issue instructs Muslims that they should not be allies with Christians.

This is Indonesia, where so-called "moderate" Islam is practiced. The governor lost his re-election campaign, to a "moderate" Muslim candidate.

So yeah, let's import into our country millions more people who think like this. What could possibly go wrong?
